"You're right, you shouldn't listen to me but this is serious Dallas, there are five grown men in there with chairs that are ready to do anything to you if you walk through those doors." He said, sternly. He'll be willing to take Dallas out if it means that AJ will be gone. "Hurt me!" Dallas yelled, causing them to stop," Just don't hurt him, hurt me all you want as long as you don't lay a hand on him." He was hoping that he wasn't too late. That Dallas was okay and that those assholes didn't hurt her too much. He kissed her! Well not exactly on the lips but close enough. A frown started to form as she remembered the bet. A month and a half as gone by and she had two and a half months left. She sighed. This bet was going to end up killing her. She started getting feelings for AJ and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get rid of them. I'm sorry AJ but I'm not losing this bet.]

Step Seven: He Shows You How He Feels

Dallas woke up to the sound of yelling and the smell of pancakes. She sat up and sighed.

"I want to do it!"

"No I want to do it!"

"Dad!"

She got off the bed, slowly. It's been a week since Mark decided to kidnap Ajay. She got checked out the next day and no of her injuries were serious, she got lucky. It would've cost her big time if her ribs her hurt again.

"Shh, Dallas is still asleep." AJ told them as they fought over who was going to pour the batter in the pan. The boys went home to their mom next week. They didn't want to go, they were actually enjoying the time they were spending with AJ and even Dallas. She's gotten attached to the boys, no matter how annoying they could get.

"Good morning." Dallas yawned as she walked into the kitchen. AJ looked up from the pancakes and smiled.

"I'm sorry if the kids were loud, they were just really excited about making pancakes." AJ said. Dallas shrugged, sitting down at the table.

"It's fine. I was going to wake up sooner or later anyways." She smiled as Ajay gave her a plate of pancakes.

"Here you go, Dallas." Ajay smiled.

"Eat up, guys, we have a flight in an hour." AJ told them.

Dallas sighed. She needed a break, all this traveling was really getting to her. The only thing that she was happy about was that Matt was going to be in their hometown tonight so they would get the chance to talk about the 'problems' that Jeff has been causing her.

From what she heard from AJ, Beth and Ruth were going to be there tonight which could mean two things, Dallas could either spend time with them or Jeff would do everything possible to keep them away from her. So there was a couple reasons why she was excited for tonight's tapings but then again Jeff is always one step ahead of her.

"And here's your winner, Dallas!"

The referee raised Dallas' hand in victory. She had just beaten Madison Rayne for the number one contender spot for the Knockouts Championship. Dallas walked backstage and was immediately thrown a water bottle and a towel.

She chugged the water bottle down and wiped down her face. That match just tired her out, it was really short but it still wore her out. She needed to start working herself less and all the stress that she was going through was killing her.

"Dallas!" She looked to her right and saw three boys running towards her. They all attacked her by hugging her legs. She almost fell over but AJ helped her by holding her up. She felt small tingles where AJ's hand was placed on her lower back.

"Boys, calm down." AJ told them. Albey took ahold of Dallas' hand as they walked down the hallway.

"We got you ice cream, Dallas." Avery said, handing her cup of ice cream. AJ couldn't help but smile at how much the boys loved Dallas and Dallas liked them. It was cute, seeing her act so sweet to the boys when she was so mean with other people.

"Your sister-in-law is here." AJ told her. Dallas couldn't help but smile a the mention of Jeff's wife. Beth and Dallas were best friends, that's how Jeff met Beth. Dallas first met Beth in high school then Jeff started dating her their second year of college. And even though Jeff was eight years older than her, they had something special since the beginning.

"Ruth too?" Dallas asked. AJ nodded. Dallas punched his shoulder," Did you go see them without me?"

"Hey..Jeff called me earlier and told me to bring the kids by because Ruth and Beth wanted to see them." AJ said, trying to explain himself. Dallas was more excited now. Her niece and her best friend were both here but knowing Jeff, she wouldn't be able to get near them.

Dallas was always very supportive of Jeff's relationship with her best friend but ever since Ruth was born, Jeff has been trying to keep Dallas away from their family. Of course, she was able to see Ruth because her and Beth talk regularly on Skype and when she's here, she always finds a way to see Dallas without Jeff knowing.

Beth had never understood why Jeff had so much hatred for Dallas so she wasn't going to stop hanging out with Dallas, especially since they were best friends first.

"Beth said she wanted me to watch Ruth for the night so her and Jeff can catch up." AJ added. Dallas turned to face him, causing the kids to stop walking.

"Then lets go." She said, taking his hand in her one empty hand. AJ couldn't help but chuckle at her excitement. He loved seeing this side of her, the cute happy side, that she only got when she was excited about something.

Dallas sat up, immediately when she heard the knock on the door. AJ groaned as she kneed him in the stomach when she got up.

"Next time you get off the bed, get off the other side, not the side I'm laying down on." Dallas ignored him as she basically ran to the door. She was so excited to see Beth and Ruth. She hasn't seen them in a little over three months.

She opened the door, quickly which caused it to slam on the wall.

"Dallas!"

"Beth!"

"Auntie Dallas!"

Dallas threw herself at Beth which caused Beth to stumble back slightly.

"I missed you sooo much!" Dallas said. Beth hugged her back tightly as they both forgot about the four year old that was pulling at their pant legs.

"Uncle AJ!" Ruth yelled when she saw AJ laying down on the bed.

"Oww Ru." AJ groaned when she jumped on his stomach. He seriously needed to get a pillow or something and put it there.

"God, I missed you so much, I'm actually going to cry." Beth said, fanning her face. She sighed, knowing that Jeff told her to take only a couple of minutes because the reservations were at ten," Girl, we got to hang out before I leave."

"Definitely." Dallas said, agreeing with her. Beth sent her a big smile. She didn't want to leave but she had to.

"Okay I really have to go." Beth said. Dallas frowned, slightly," Ruth hasn't slept all day so she might be really tired right now...I'll pick her up in the morning."

Dallas nodded before pulling her into a quick hug. It was really hard for them to hang out now especially that Jeff has a leash on her. He probably didn't even know that Ruth was with AJ and Dallas right now because if he did then he would be freaking out big time. He wouldn't have let Ruth out of his sight.

Dallas sighed as the door closed, she hoped that Beth kept her promise about hanging out.

"Jeff has her on a tight leash." Dallas mumbled, walking over to the bed that her and AJ were sharing. There was only two beds in the room so Albey and Avery shared one while Ajay was on the couch.

"That is true." AJ said as he changed the TV channel to Mickie Mouse," But she's not one to listen when she's told to do something so you guys will almost definitely have a girls day."

Dallas nodded as she laid on the other side of Ruth. Ruth cuddled up to Dallas which caused her to smile. She didn't have a lot of these moments with her niece but when she did, they always made her day.

"So when is Matt coming?" AJ asked. Dallas frowned at the mention of Matt. He had texted her earlier, telling her that he wasn't going to make it tonight but that he might be able to have an hour or two tomorrow.

This happened every time. Dallas would get excited to see Matt but then something came up last minute and he couldn't make it. The last time she actually saw him in person was a little over five months ago for his birthday.

It really upset her that she didn't get to see the brother that actually liked her. Matt's job apparently occupies a lot of his time and that's knowing that they have the same jobs but he works more than she does. All she wants is to see Matt at least once a month, make sure she isn't going insane with just Jeff around.

"He said that he could be here tomorrow but it was only for an hour or two." Dallas answered, suddenly upset. She wanted to see Matt for longer but she understands that he's busy. She was lucky that she got to see him for an hour. It was better than not being able to see him at all.

"You know he's busy, I bet he's trying his hardest to make time for you." He said, trying to cheer her up. Ruth smiled, knowing that they were talking about her uncle Matt.

"Uncle Matt is coming?!" Ruth yelled, a little too loudly. Dallas put a finger to her mouth, shushing her. The boys were really tired after they got home from the arena. They were running around all day with AJ, going to his interview then to the signing then back to the hotel and finally to the arena.

"The boys are a sleep, Ru." AJ told her. Ruth frowned towards him.

"But uncle AJJJJ..." She whined. AJ gave her a stern look, telling her to be quiet. Ruth huffed, crossing her arms.

"Wow, how did you do that?" Dallas asked, shocked that he got her to be quiet. Ruth wasn't a quiet child, she liked talking and she didn't know how to talk softly.

"After three kids, you learn."

It was only about twenty minutes later when Ruth finally decided to fall asleep.

"We should've moved her next to the boys since the beginning." Dallas said, as AJ placed Ruth next to Albey and Avery. AJ sighed, going back to lay down next to Dallas.

"AJ stop..." Dallas whined when AJ kept poking her side. AJ chuckled, quietly. She was trying to fall asleep but he kept poking her," You're being so mean."

"I can't sleep." He told her. She rolled her eyes, turning to face him. He was wide awake staring back at her.

"What color are your eyes?" He asked, randomly. Dallas looked at him oddly.

"Light green, why?" She asked confused. He shrugged, slightly. se was so confused, it was like he was looking at her as if she had something on her face.

"I don't know, I just never realized how pretty your eyes are." He said with a smile. She smiled, slightly. He was just acting sweet all of a sudden and she was so confused to why he was acting weird.

AJ was suddenly feeling something that was attracting him to her and he had to do something about it. He sees how confused she looked so he didn't know if it was the right thing to do.

"Can I try something?" He asked, softly. She looked at him confused but nodded either way. He placed his hand on her cheek which caused Dallas to get tingles on the side of her face. He didn't know if what he was about to do was going to ruin the friendship that they were building but he was willing to take a chance.

Dallas looked into his eyes as he stared at her. He slowly moved his face closer to hers before stopping centimeters away from her lips.

"May I?" He asked. She couldn't believe this was happening. AJ was about to kiss her and she wasn't saying anything so it gave AJ the message that she didn't want him to kiss her.

After what seemed like forever, for AJ, she finally nodded. He didn't waste a second on getting his lips against hers.

Dallas kissed him back, immediately feeling a whole bunch of butterflies in her stomach. He placed his hand on her lower back and pulled her closer to him.

Dallas couldn't believe that this was actually happening. She had not expected him to make the first move on her. Especially not so early, she thought that she would have to wait until the second month for her to kiss him.

She couldn't be more happy that she was getting one step closer to winning this bet.

Heeey you guys! I know I made you guys wait like forever for an update but here it is. Right now I have chapters started for every story but I just don't know how to finish them... Anyways I'll see when I can update again!
