Step Five: Meet His Family

[Previously:

"Explain to me, why you were in there kissing Ken after you couldn't stop saying how much you wanted him to stop calling you. Not even a fucking hour ago, you were still upset that he went against you.""Look maybe your brother was right. You're nothing but trouble.""Really? If I remember clearly, you have a reputation with fucking shit up." Jeff told her, with a slight smirk on his face. Dallas face turned pale as he brought it up again."This is all your fault! If it wasn't for you, she would still be alive! I wish you never fucking came into our family! You ruined everything, bitch." Jeff spat at a now terrified Dallas."Of course. I'll be there every step of the way."]

Step Five: Meeting His Family

“Will you please just tell me who we're picking up?" Dallas asked for like the hundred time arleady.

“No be patient." AJ told her. Dallas rolled her eyes.

“But you promised you would tell me when we got here." Dallas said, crossing her arms.

Truth is, he didn't want to tell her that they were here, picking up his three sons. He usually came with Jeff or Audrey but after they both ganged up on him last night, he decided to go with Dallas. Jeff was talking shit about Dallas last night and Audrey was just agreeing. Audrey never made a mean comment in front of them but she hated Dallas so she just agreed with whatever Jeff said.

“I brought you to help me with my sons. Jeff usually comes with Audrey but they were both being stupid last night so I hope you don't mind." AJ told her. Dallas shook her head.

She didn't mind at all. Dallas knew that AJ had kids. She would always see him walking around with the three of them backstage but she only ever saw them like once a month.

“Its fine." Dallas smiled.

“So before they come." AJ said,“ Albey is the youngest and Avery is the middle child, you won't have to worry about them. Ajay though, he's another different story. He still upset over the divorce and blames everyone so if he says something just ignore it."

“Got it."

AJ smiled when he saw three little kids and a young girl walking their way.

"Daddy!" Albey yelled, running towards AJ. AJ picked him up with a smile.

“Hey little buddy." Avery was hugging his legs and Ajay was watching from a distance with his arms crossed.

Dallas couldn't help but smile at the little boys. They were all so adorable. She also noticed the oldest one standing from the side just watching them. He looked sad and a little mad. Sort of like he was jealous but at the same time he didn't want anything to do with his dad.

“Umm AJ..." Dallas trailed off, pointing to a crowd of paparazzi. There was some inside and others we're crowded around the entrance. There was also a couple of fans that had out tshirts and cameras, waiting for them to go outside. AJ looked over to where she was pointing and sighed.

“I swear I can't get one moment to myself." AJ mumbled. Dallas understood. She loved the fans, a lot but she sometimes just wants to have private moments, where they don't get involved. That is probably the one thing, she hated about the job.

As soon as you join, your private life gets thrown under the spotlight.

“I have a sweatshirt." Dallas said, taking it off. AJ took it from her and placed it on Albey. AJ took off his hoodie and handed it to Avery.

“Put it on, Ave[not as in avenue]." AJ told his son. Avery pulled the hoodie over his head and looked down with a smile. The hoodie touched the ground easily.

“Here." Dallas picked him up with a smile. AJ smiled, slightly before turning his attention to his nine-year-old.

“Pull your hood on." AJ told him. Ajay rolled his eyes at his Dad.

“Why? It's not a big deal." Ajay said, crossing his arms. AJ sighed.

He loved Ajay but sometimes he hated the way he talked to him. All because of the stupid idea that his mom got into his head.

“Ajay, I didn't ask you. I told you to put it on." AJ demanded. The little boy pulled his hood on with an annoyed look on his face.

Dallas frowned. Ajay seemed so upset about everything. Almost as if he were blaming the world for his Dad divorcing his mom. Then AJ seemed so annoyed with the little boy. He was probably feeling as if his Dad was forgetting about him.

“Just run through. Don't look at them and definitely don't talk to them." AJ said.

He was really annoyed that the paparazzi had to ruin this for him as well. He didn't want his sons to be under the big spotlight with him. This wasn't a place for little kids to be under. It's frightening. Even still for AJ, who has been dealing with this for close to ten years.

Dallas followed out right after AJ with a frightened Avery in her arms. His head was in Dallas' neck and she could feel him shaking. The caretaker was in the back, holding Ajay close to her.

“AJ!"

“Dallas!"

“AJ!"

“Are you guys together now?"

“Dallas, what about Aces & Eights?"

“AJ, did you finally get your kids back?!"

AJ almost stopped walking but Dallas pushed him forward. She wasn't going to let them get to him just like she wasn't going to let them get to her.

AJ was freaking pissed. They had no reason to ask about his personal life. He was okay with them asking about the company and stuff like that but not his family. They didn't know half the shit that AJ had to go through in the past few months yet they act like they do.

He got to the car and opened up the back seat, placing Albey in his car seat.

“AJ calm yourself." Dallas told him when he started pacing. All the kids were in the car with the nanny and he stayed out there. He definitely didn't want his sons to see him like this.

“I need to punch something." AJ muttered, running his hands through his hair.

“AJ, not now. Your kids are in the car." Dallas said, trying to stop him.

She knew that he was really upset but his sons were in the car. His kids don't have to see him like this. AJ only got so pissed off because they asked about his personal life. And yeah he didn't ike it but what was he going to do.

He needed to understand that some people don't give a fuck about privacy. They think that if the person is famous that everything about them needs to be known.

“These idiots think they can just ask about my life like if it's their business." AJ mumbled, clenching his fists. Dallas let out a small scream as he punched the door. Her face was right next to where he punched.

“AJ calm down." Dallas mumbled, shakily. He had his head down and his fist was still on the door. She pulled his head up so she could look at him,“ I-I know they're annoying, trust me I do. But you got to calm down. You can't let them get to you."

AJ wrapped him arms around her and pulled her in for a hug. Dallas hugged him back with her head on his shoulder.

“I'm sorry." He said, softly.

“There's nothing to be sorry about." She told him. AJ sighed.

They stood there in each other's embrace for a couple of the minutes and the nanny only interrupted them when she started to get worried.

Dallas would be lying if she said that she wasn't scared of AJ was acting. It scared her a lot. She knew that he got mad and it was kind of scary but she never saw him get violent.

“I think we should get going." AJ said, pulling away from her slightly. Dallas looked up at him and nodded. She let go of him and walked over to the passenger side.

She noticed the small dent on the driver's door. His knuckles we're probably either red or bleeding. She got into the car and closed the door.

“Sorry about that." Dallas said, looking back at the nanny.

Claire shrugged with a small smile,“ It isn't the first time I've witnessed him lash out."

Dallas turned back around just when AJ got into the car.

He's lashed out like that more than once?

He started driving and Dallas grabbed one of his hands from off the steering wheel.

“What are you doing?" AJ asked, glancing over at her. Dallas was staring at his red knuckles. They weren't bleeding but if he hit the car any harder then they would've started to bleed.

She ran the tips of her fingers over his knuckles.

“You hurt your hand." She said, looking down at it. She brought it up to her mouth and kissed his knuckles, softly.

He chuckled, lightly,“ Yeah that's what happens when you go and punch something."

She rolled her eyes but smiled.

She couldn't get the thought of how this has happened before. Claire did mention that it happened more than once. But she just couldn't see AJ being like that.

“Okay, you guys know the rules. Don't talk to anyone but me or Dallas." AJ said, looking at his boys.

“Like you would care." Ajay muttered. AJ didn't hear him.

They had just gotten to another arena for a house show tonight. AJ was telling his sons to not run off. He was basically just telling them this because of Aces & Eights. They hated AJ so much, they would do anything to make him suffer.

Dallas, who was standing right next to AJ, heard what the eldest boy said. She didn't understand why he was so mean to his dad. Ajay had been acting like that all day. He would make rude comments. He even called Dallas a slut - which she didn't think needed to be in his vocabulary.

AJ immediately put Ajay in his place when he called Dallas a slut. And so far, Ajay has been keeping his comments to himself more. Dallas would hear each and everyone of them though.

They all had something to do with AJ not caring about them or that he left them.

“Just go AJ. You're going to miss your match." Dallas told him. AJ sighed, knowing she was right. He had been standing there for ten minutes to make sure that they understood that they needed to behave for Dallas.

“Good luck, daddy!" Avery and Albey went to give AJ a hug. Ajay rolled his eyes at his little brothers.

They are just so stupid sometimes. Ajay thought to himself.

AJ waited for Ajay to least say 'good luck' but he gave up trying.

“Please, make sure they don't get near them." AJ said to Dallas. Dallas nodded.

“I promise. Now go." Dallas said, shooing him off. He hugged her, quickly before walking off.

“Are you my daddy's girlfriend?" Albey asked when AJ was out of sight. Dallas looked down at the little boy.

“No we're just friends." Dallas told him.

“That's not what my mom thinks." Ajay said, crossing his arms.

“What does your mom think?" Dallas asked Ajay. The little boy looked shocked. She had heard what he said. He composed himself.

“She thinks that all the girls that my Dad hangs out with are sluts. And that's he's sleeping with every single one of them. That's why they got divorced because girls like you don't know how to keep away from a man that's already taken." Ajay said. Dallas stared at him in shock.

“Ajay, please! She's just Dad's friend there is nothing wrong with it." Avery said,“ Plus I like her."

“Well guess what, I don't." Ajay said,“She's just like the rest of them."

Dallas decided to ignore the kid,“ Are you guys hungry? We could go get food."Albey nodded as well as Avery,“Okay then lets go."

She was walking down to catering with Avery holding her right hand and Albey holding her left hand. Ajay was on the other side of Albey with his arms crossed.

All of a sudden his face lit up,“ Jeff!"

Jeff turned his head to see Ajay running towards him. He held up a finger to the interviewer and picked Ajay up.

“Hey where's your Dad?" Jeff asked, looking at him. Ajay shrugged.

“He went to his match and left us with his 'friend'." Ajay said, crossing his arms. Dallas walked up to them with the two youngest.

“Dallas." Jeff greeted with a nod. Dallas smiled back, slightly.

“Jeff, you know her?" Ajay asked. Dallas spoke up before Jeff had the chance to open his mouth.

“He's my brother." Dallas told him.

Step-brother." Jeff added, crossing his arms. Dallas sent him a glare.

“Yeah, okay." Dallas muttered,“ Are you guys ready to go?"

“No. Can I stay with you, Jeff?" Ajay said, looking up at Jeff. Jeff sighed.

He loved the kid but he knew if AJ saw that all three of them weren't together, he would flip out. Plus, AJ was pissed at Jeff for what happened the night before.

“I'm sorry Jay. I need to go get ready for my match. Your dad should be back soon so until then stay with Dallas." Jeff lied. Ajay let out a large breathe and crossed his arms.

“Fine." Ajay muttered. Dallas rolled her eyes.

“Come guys. Lets go get some ice cream." Dallas told the kids. Albey jumped up at the sound of ice cream.

[Brooke]

Brooke shook her head, furiously," No, you guys! Stop right there! You don't need to fucking get his kids involved!"

"Shut it, Blondie." Wes snapped," You have no say in this."

"Do you guys hate Dallas?" Brooke asked them. They guys looked at one another," Why can't you guys just let her be? We all know that this has nothing to do with AJ any more, it has to do with hurting Dallas. But what has she done wrong? So what, she likes a guy, that we don't particularly like, but that shouldn't matter."

"She likes him?!" They all screamed at once. Brooke nodded, slowly.

Ken couldn't help but frown at the new found information. He knew that Dallas liked hanging out with AJ but he didn't knew that she liked him in that way.

"All I'm trying to say, you guys, is that if you decide to hurt him then you automatically hurt her as well." Brooke stated, crossing her arms.

"I say we go through with it." Knux commented," She already left so why should we care?"

Brooke glared at him.

"You guys, they're kids, we can't just do that. They shouldn't even be involved in this." Brooke said.

"Look, Brooke you know we love you but you're wrong on this. We have to go through with this to really get to both of them." Mark said, finally choosing the 'right' choice. Brooke sighed.

"You know what, you guys go ahead. I'm not going to be apart of your guys stupid plan." Brooke told them," I don't want my best friend to hate me more than she already does."

Brooke walked out without looking back at them.

Their plan was so dumb. They planned on taking the oldest one of the Styles kids. They wanted to use him as bait. The guys knew that every time they try to take AJ out for good, he just keeps coming back. They wanted him gone for good, no more AJ Styles.

Brooke walked over to the table where she saw Dallas sitting down.with two kids.

"What do you want?" Dallas asked, looking up at her. Brooke sighed before sitting down in the empty seat across from Dallas.

"Dallas look, I'm really sorry." Dallas opened her mouth to interrupt but Brooke continued," I know I can't apologize for Mark and the rest of the group but Dallas, I want you to know that all these attacks that are being planned on AJ, I don't help with. I always try to stop them whether you believe me or not."

Dallas sighed, looking down at her plate of salad," I believe you."

"Thanks for yesterday. If you wouldn't have told AJ about the plan, he wouldn't have ever talked to me again." Dallas added.

"How's the thing going, by the way?" Brooke asked. It took Dallas a minute to realize what Brooke was talking about.

Honestly, she had completely forgotten that she was in the middle of a bet with Audrey. And she hadn't seen Audrey around in the longest time so who the hell knows where she could possibly be.

"Fine." Dallas answered. Avery tapped on Dallas' shoulder, softly.

"Dallas, Ajay has been in the bathroom for the long time. Do you think we should check on him?" Avery asked. Brooke immediately became alarmed.

"Dallas, is Ajay the oldest one?" Brooke asked. Dallas nodded towards her before getting up.

"Come on lets go check the bathroom." Dallas grabbed ahold of both Avery and Albey's hands," I'll talk to you later, Brooke."

Brooke couldn't help but feel nervous as Dallas walked off with the kids. She also couldn't believe that Mark was stupid enough to go with the plan. They had the kid and Brooke knew exactly where they had him.

[Dallas]

She knocked on the bathroom door for the fourth time before sighing. She turned her attention to Avery - who was looking nervous for his brother.

"Avery, just go in there and see if he's in there then come out and tell me, okay?" The little boy nodded before walking into the bathroom.

If this kid wasn't in there who knows what AJ would do to Dallas. Ajay had a mean mouth on him but AJ still loved him. Even when the kid showed just how much he hated his Dad.

Avery came out running with a piece of paper in his hands.

"Dallas! He isn't in there but I found this!" Avery yelled, handing the paper to her. Dallas took the paper from him.

He's such a cute child, Dallas. It would be a real shame if something had happened to him because you couldn't keep your eyes on him. We'll see how much AJ wants to spend time with you after this.

~Mark

Dallas bit her lip to keep herself from screaming. Why on the hell would they even think of taking a child?! Sure Dallas knew that they were evil but not this evil. The kid had nothing to do with this so why would they even involve him.

"Hey where's Ajay?"

Dallas looked up and met AJ's eyes.

That's when she knew, she was in deep shit.
