first, you want a tribe. which tribe? good question.

here's a list of all the tribes, along with their general popularity (from what I know);

*Rainwings, Seawings & Nightwings are extremely popular

*Sandwings, Hivewings and Silkwings are also popular

*Icewings & Leafwings aren't as popular

*Skywings & Mudwings are not that popular

If you want a unique OC, you might want a unique tribe. but the less popular the tribe is, the less OCs of that tribe there are.

Maybe make a Skywing or a Mudwing! But making a popular tribe is fine too.
