Michael rant
Okay, this isn't exactly a proper part as such, but it can count if you want it to. This could be quite long to you, but I need to get this off my chest because it's really starting to irritate me.
Michael is so, so misunderstood, and it angers me a lot. Yeah, he made mistakes in his life, but doesn't everyone? He was only human, after all, but when people make out that he had to be this perfect human being that had no flaws, that's a little over the top for me. Of course, to Moonwalkers, he's damn perfect, because we see through the flaws he could have. Non-Moonwalkers don't have that high-end ability.
I mean come on; he has literally saved lives! Michael has saved people from committing suicide in person. He was in a hotel once, and a fan was on the roof about to jump, when Michael came out of his hotel to stop him from jumping. He saved that fan's life, but of course nobody sees this side of Michael.
Then there then another time when he was in his car, and saw a little girl crossing the road. A car was coming, so he ran out his car, and risked his life for that little girl, saving her life. He could have died saving her, but of course, nobody sees this side of Michael.
And then we have the little boy – Farkas. He was dying, and was guaranteed to die unless they found an organ to be transplanted (I believe that's how it went down. Correct me if I'm wrong). Michael spent months, years, trying to find an organ. He finally found one for the boy, and paid for all his medical care, but of course, nobody sees this side of Michael.
Michael literally saves lives. He's a real hero. But of course ... nobody sees this side of Michael. And why? Why don't they see this side of Michael?
Because their eyes seem to hate the sun – the light; the positive moments of Michael's life. They seem to only want to see the storm – Michael's darkest hours. If they wish to see the sun, they must wear sunshades, which change the way they see the sun.
Just like the media. They have to manipulate the good Michael did to make him seem eccentric, bad, or crazy – just ... different.
It really gets to me, when I see words from haters about Michael. Of course, they're not going to have nice opinions – being haters – but they could at least research properly before they make their comments, just to make sure they're not wrong.
I'm not saying that haters are wrong for hating Michael and having their own opinions; I'm simply saying that their logic behind hating Michael should be a legitimate and valid argument – in typical cases, it's the same old "Skin-bleaching, plastic-surgery-loving, child-molesting, gay druggie woman" stuff. Are any of those legitimate arguments? No, they're not.
I would go off into a large rant about each of those "arguments", but I simply cannot be bothered to waste my time trying to explain that to people who won't even see this. So, I'll just create a short summary for all those points.
Skin-bleaching – Vitiligo. Skin disease that destroys the pigmentation of the skin. Cannot be helped.
Plastic surgery – Health reasons. Michael was uncomfortable with his appearance. He was a perfectionist at its finest. It's his own decision. It was not over-done!
Child molestation – He was acquitted of all charges because of lack of evidence against him. Proven innocent June 13, 2005. Evan Chandler committed suicide after Michael's death from guilt. All "victims" confessed it was for money. End of story.
Druggie – Health reasons. Had Insomnia. Stupid doctor named Conrad Murray prescribed them to him in too high a dosage rather than giving Michael a simple "No more, Mr Jackson". That is all, otherwise I might stab the next thing I see. Conrad Murray is the devil to me.
Gay – Three words: In The Closet. Yes, my favourite song (as some of you may know already). He had two wives and countless girlfriends. He was extremely flirtatious. Cupcakes. ;)
Woman – I'm not even gonna bother wasting my time on this crap.
Another thing that gets to me – when people say he was a bad person. I mean, come on! How was he a bad person! (Exclamation marks normally indicate I'm excited or angry. You work out which one). He visited orphanages to see sick children, just to make them happy! He gave them toys, sang to them, spoke with each child and signed autographs for them! He created his home with disabled children in mind! He gave millions upon millions of dollars to charities, and even created a charity himself!
My God, I'm so angry right now. How has this all been brought on?
Oh yeah.
I was talking to one of my best friends (a Directioner), and we were discussing our idols. In her case, it's Niall. She was bragging about how perfect and amazing Niall is, so I started the "good person" debate. She began saying Niall has done a lot for charity, so I involved the "saving lives" thing. Hell, she was determined to defend Niall, the way I defend Michael.
The only difference is, Michael has done a hell of a lot more than Niall has, and for much longer. Who's the real hero? She was making it seem like Niall is God, when in actual fact, he's done nothing compared to the true King, Michael Jackson.
That's probably what started my rant. Actually, some of the arguments I used in here are the messages I sent to her – mainly the "saving lives" part. I just felt that enough was enough, and I needed to just let all my anger out on this chapter.
I know most people won't read it all, but for those who do, I'd like to think you share my views. My anger feels a little more ... vented, I guess, but I'm still fuming over what that Directioner said. She's supposed to be one of my best friends, but the way she's argued with me tonight has irritated me.
Anyway ... I better calm myself down, before I stab the next thing I see. In this case, it would be my life-size cut out of Michael, but I wouldn't want to hurt my precious Michael. ❤️
Oh! Completely irrelevant, but I thought I would share. I've finally managed to learn all the words to Shout. Such a challenge to learn, but I got there. :)
Anyway ...
Peace, Moonwalkers. Peace. ✌🏻️
