The Appearance of Lily's Godmother
The Appearance of Lily's Godmother
I had kind of wondered why exactly Aunt Madison hadn't shown up, and I was happy to know that she would come in less than a minute.
"Where's your godmother, Lily?" I asked my sister right before I shoved a pop tart into my mouth.
"I don't know," Lily replied, thoughtful.
Just as Lily had said that; a figure came through the door, red hair in a ponytail. She looked like she had just gotten out of bed.
"Morning, sleeping beauty," said Uncle George.
"Mmm," she stated, walking over to my Uncle and sitting on his lap.
She rubbed her eyes, and I noticed that they were green. Her eyes widened when she looked at me.
"Who are you? You're not Harry- I know that," she stuttered, confused.
"I know," I informed her. "However, I am a Potter. Albus Severus Potter, Slytherin and fifteen."
She nodded. Introductions went around once more, and the girl then took the silence afterward to introduce herself.
"Well, I'm Madison Potter. Gryffindor, and fifteen years old."
A sudden thought came to mind, and it made me grimace.
"Wait, I'm the same age as my father and Aunt right now..." I breathed, freaked out.
"Aunt?" Madison asked, confused.
"Well, you marry Uncle George-" I began to say, only to be interrupted by James.
"And you guys have Fred, who is my best friend and is my age and is in Gryffindor. You also have Amanda, and she's nineteen and was in Gryffindor. Then there's Jack, and he's in Al and Rose's year, and he's in Gryffindor. Then there's Emma, and she's Lily and Hugo's she. She's in Gryffindor. You're pregnant again, but I think that you're stopping after this one is born."
My dad's eyes went wide. "That's like, five kids!"
"And their father is George, by the way. Just so you know," James told him, excitement in his eyes.
"You get my sister pregnant five times!?"
"Hey! It's in the future, okay?" Uncle George defended himself.
"Okay, so," Aunt Madison broke in. "Have you tried turning the turner the other way?"
"Yes- I did- and it worked!" I told her, curious about what she had to say.
All was silent for a minute.
"The hourglass broke... Right? But Hermione still has hers. You can go back with that, can't you?" Dad cut in.
Aunt Madison rolled her eyes at my dad. "No, you nitwit. If they do that it could mess up the whole space-time continuum!"
"Oh," dad hopelessly stated.
"Nothing's changed between you two," Lily told her.
"I'd expect nothing would, knowing the two of us."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Dad asked.
