A Crash Course In Physics

With a big CLANG, the five of us ended up on a hard, wood floor that cracked and screeched under all of our weight combined.

"Get off of me," I grumbled, my voice quiet.

Soon, the four others detached themselves from the dog pile, causing me to be the last one there.

"Oh, of course, since I am the shortest one here, let's all land on top of me," I stated, annoyed.

"Well, you know, it's not my fault-" James began to retaliate.

He was soon interrupted by some sort of grunt coming from behind us.

There was a figure in the doorway, and they were holding up a brown stick. A wand.

Behind the wand, from what I could tell, was a man. The man had scars etched upon his face, and his nose was crooked. One of his blue eyes was fake- it kept moving around own its own. I got the feeling it was x-raying me. His hair was light brown and thin, and he had a wooden peg for a left leg. It was Alastor Moody.

"Who're you?" Moody had questioned.

I had the utmost feeling that he'd know whether or not we were being truthful or dishonest. Plus, that eye was creeping out.

"My name is Albus Severus Potter," I revealed, ready to be blown to pieces.

Moody looked at me. I felt him going into my mind; I let him in. There was no use blocking him, because we were in enough trouble already.

Moody nodded. "How'd you get here?"

"Well, gravity pulled us down onto the ground here," James sassed.

"No, you twat, he means how did we end up in the situation!" I replied to my older brother.

"He wasn't specific!" James argued back.

"STOP FIGHTING! IT IS ALL YOU TWO EVER DO!" Lily's voice rang out, her face red in anger.

"Anyway," Rose began to explain. "James here found a time turner, and wanted to use it. While he was spinning it, Albus decided to take it from him. The hourglass broke and a bright light swallowed us hole."

Oh, sure. Blame everything on me.

"Is that true?" Moody asked.

Everyone but me nodded. Why should I listen to everybody else and nod? It wasn't my fault!

"Well, come on then," he told us.

We followed the retired Auror through the musky and murky halls. Every few steps, there was a loud creak from the floorboard stepped on. It caused dust to fall off of the wall and the ceiling and into our heads.

I kept sneezing, and it seemed to be bothering Moody.

"Stop your sneezing, boy," he demanded,

"I can't," I said in between sneezes. "I'm allergic to dust."

Moody rolled his eyes and hurried along. I stopped to sneeze once more, and then right when the sneeze was over, we were finally somewhere without a bunch of dust. Hopefully.

"Trust 'em," Moody grunted to the group of adults and kids.

Moody took a look at me with his real eye, and kept his fake eye on the food that was placed on the table in front of us.

"Except this one," he revealed looking at me. "Got a funny feeling about this one. He... Belongs to something dark."

I gulped. What the hell did I belong to? I wasn't a Death Eater.

It was silent for a moment or two, but at that moment, Moody nudged us and stated, "Introduce yourselves... You," he pointed at me. "You go last."

I face a large sigh and slumped down against the wall. I felt that there was a sudden amount of prejudice towards me and none of these people who were here- besides Lily, James, Hugo and Rose- knew me at all.
