1. Put yourself out there.

I know it can be super scary, but sometimes you just have to make the first move. You can't expect your crush to read your mind and figure out on their own that you're majorly crushing. Ask them on a study date, go out of your way to talk to them, invite them over for a movie marathon. Once they see you're interested, they may just return the feelings, and everything will fall in to place. Don't wait around for years for your crush to look your way, make things happen!

Albeit his face was stoic on the outside, he could feel his heart beat erratically. As he read the article, his mind pondered on what he should do. Should he just ask you out for a study date, go to the movies, or the arcades? The last one, he wasn't that sure of since he's actually never been in one.

You sat on your chair, bored out of your mind as you listened to the teacher. You kept rolling your pen around your fingers until it finally dropped right to where Bakugou is. You gulped, not really knowing what to do. Should you have him pick it up? Nah, he wouldn't bother doing so. As you kept on thinking, you didn't notice him shoving the pen to you when the teacher wasn't looking.

Bakugou has his eyes narrowed at you and you could feel cold sweat forming on your forehead. "Ah- uh, thanks, dude." You tried to show your gratitude to him by smiling, but he only scoffed before turning away. "Stupid, idiotic girl," he muttered, you heard it but you didn't mind it. After all, that's what he's truly known for and you've gotten used to his brash behavior.

Unbeknownst to you, the tip of his ears were slightly tinted with a red hue.

Todoroki watched your interaction with the blond and needless to say, he was far from happy. He wasn't one to just draw out conclusions without concrete evidence, but the fact that he didn't try to blow your head off and actually 'blushed' got on his nerves. Well, it could probably be just because of Present Mic's presence. Okay, except that one time- but who was he to know that Midoriya wasn't indeed All Might's secret love child?

Before you knew it, lunchtime arrived and you were more than happy to fill your cheeks with the food that they serve here. You immediately stood up before rushing towards Ochako and slinging an arm over her shoulders.

"Ah, Y/n-"

"Ocha, onward!" And as you shouted that, you dragged her with you as you ran. It was quite apparent that Uraraka's soul is starting to leave her body. Midoriya just sighed before yelling a little 'wait' and Iida was readying himself to scold you not to run on the school's halls.

Todoroki had a minuscule smile on his face. You were quite the happy gal and his polar opposite. But even though that fact is present, he couldn't feel but fall more and more for you. He just sighed, hoping that this website's tips will work out or else, he'll do things the 'Shouto' way.

Midoriya knew of his friend's crush on you, and he was actually more than willing to be his wingman. "Todoroki! Want to go have lunch together with the others? Y/n is sitting with us," he mouthed the end part. As Todoroki comprehended Midoriya's words, he didn't waste any time and sauntered over to him before nodding as a way to symbolize 'let's go'.

Midoriya chuckled at his friend's antics. He could just imagine you and Todoroki together and damn, you two're gonna be a cute couple. He couldn't help but place his support on you two, not knowing his childhood 'friend' felt the same for you.

Ah, young love. How complex.

You groaned as you splayed your self out on the table as all of you waited for your lunches to be served. "What's wrong?" Uraraka asked as she tilted her head, wondering what's the problem. "I want to watch this movie but I don't want to go alone-" Yet you cut yourself off as a lightbulb appeared on top of your head.

"Hey Ocha, want to go watch it together?!" you asked, excited. Yet the lightbulb dimmed down once she said her answer. "As much as I'd love to n/n, I've got to help with my family's chores this weekend," she apologized after that.

You looked at Midoriya with hopeful eyes. Actually, after you said that, he immediately conjured up a plan to set you and the peppermint boy together. You sighed once more once you saw him declining your offer. You knew that Iida'd soon decline once you do the same to him, so you just slumped down on your seat.

Todoroki raised his hand. He didn't know what came over him, yet once he saw Midoriya, Ochako, and even Iida's looks of encouragement, he immediately knew what to do. You looked at him, curious as to what he's got to say. "What is it, Todo?" you asked, and he felt himself flushing at the nickname. 'No, you've got to keep calm', he inwardly scolded himself.

"I wouldn't mind going with you to watch the movie you wanted," and as he said those words, he could feel himself sighing in relief for not actually saying anything weird due to his nerves.

"Wait, really?! No going back on your words now!" You exclaimed, excited as you leaned over the table towards him. Your eyes sparkled in delight and he could feel himself getting lost inside them. Cheesy, he knew, but it was the truth.

"I do not go back on my words, L/n," he wished he could refer to you with something, um, less formal than this, but he wasn't quite sure if you'd be okay with it. "So uptight. Call me Y/n!" You grinned at him. He tried his hardest not to even show the slightest hint of red on his cheeks.

"If that's what you'd like, Y/n."

"That's more like it!"

Yet he seemed to fail since he could feel the tips of his ear going warmer and warmer.

What to wear, what to wear?

He knew it's just going to be a casual date between the two of you, heck, it wasn't even a date but more like a hang out between two friends. Yet he couldn't be even more bothered with that fact as he tried his hardest to find clothes that he hoped will impress you.

Finally, he found the clothes he needed. It wasn't much, yet it was enough to make him be filled with the slightest bits of confidence. It was a white shirt paired with black jeans, and over it was a mustard-colored cardigan. Simple, yet it was all that he needed.

Finally finished dressing up, he knew he made it in time once he heard your knocks on his door. "Todo, are ya ready?" Your voice was muffled since you were on the other side. He nodded, even though you wouldn't be able to see his actions. Your question was answered once he opened the door.

"Woah, you look like a damn model," you gushed as you raked over his form. "Thanks," he muttered and as he looked at you, he felt like he was seeing an angel even if you wore all black. "You look... nice," he cursed inside his mind, he just wished he could've said something better than 'nice' since it wasn't enough to describe you. Ethereal- ah, that's more like it.

You were wearing a cropped black turtleneck, for your bottom, you were wearing ripped jeans. And over your turtleneck was a kimono-like black cardigan with white accents. All in all, you look stunning.

"Let's go then!" You exclaimed before grabbing the hem of his cardigan, tugging him in the direction to exit the school's dorms. You did this 'cause you never know, the guy may not be in it for actual touches and you wouldn't want to cause him uneasiness.

"N/n, where're you off to?" Toru asked as she saw you and Todoroki exiting the dorms. "Gon' watch some movies! Ciao!" and once you said that, off you two go. She wondered why Todoroki was with you. Then, she remembered seeing his lingering gazes on you and all the smiles that were meant for you, causing a lightbulb to appear on top of her head. Hagakure placed her fingers on her chin as she began to smile mischievously. 'Ohoho, is this a blooming romance I smell,' she thought. Well, time to say this big news to the others, she supposed. After all, the Ice Prince finding his princess was a huge headline!

The two of you sat together on the bus heading towards the cinema. You were beyond excited, after all, it's Tokyo Ghoul! You watched the anime and absolutely loved each part. "Hey, Todoroki, you haven't heard of Ghouls of Tokyo yet, haven't you?" you asked him. He shook his head, as expected. Well, you were more than ready to show a presentation of what the whole outline was during the whole bus ride.

"Well, you're in luck because yours truly will provide you with everything you need to know! Closer closer, you must see this!" And with that, you rambled on and on, knowing everything about it like the back of your hand. Todoroki listened, and as much as he attempted to focus, it seems that his concentration was wavering. He was so close to you, and your melodious voice was filling his ears.

So with that pointed out, how can you expect him to not concentrate on you instead of the movie he just used as an excuse to get closer to you?

"We're finally here!" He didn't mind you tugging the hem of his cardigan, in fact, he loved it. He just hoped that his hands were the next in line. "So, what flavor of popcorn will you get?" You asked him, and he shrugged as the two of you bought the tickets.

"Well, I always loved cheese so.." you trailed off as you already reached the counter since fortunately, the line wasn't that long. "May I ask what is your order, ma'am and sir?"

"I'll get cheese!"

"I'll have whatever she has," he said, still as emotionless as ever. It wasn't long before the order of you two was given, and as you were ready to fish out your wallet, money was already set out on the counter. "Holy- you didn't have to do that," you said, starting to get quite shy since you weren't used to having people do this. Usually, you were always on the 'treating people' side.

"Don't mind it. That's what a guy does during a date, right?" He asked, and as he said that, the eyes of you two widened. Oh, he slipped. Your face was starting to get quite red before you coughed, trying to ease the awkward silence. Thank god the cashier arrived on time. "Here you go, ma'am sir. I hope that you two enjoy your date!"

"Yeah, thank you!" You said in gratitude and without shame, as if saying that you were accepting the idea of this being a date and not a 'friendly' hangout. You turned towards him and you could see him facing the other way, "Hey, let's go! I already wanna see the movie." You said, hoping to break the ice, he nodded, and off you two go.

It was dark and silent inside the whole complex. The two of you sat by side and you already started eating your popcorn even if the movie hasn't even started yet. Well, you were hungry so who could blame you. "Todo, I hope you're ready since it's gon' be great!" He nodded his head at what you said.

You saw him smile, but you didn't know if it was just your imagination since everything was just so dark. Probably the latter? You didn't know. The movie started rolling and you deflated once you realized that your box containing corn kernels was already empty. Todoroki saw your disheartened face and he instantly knew what to do. "I have more, do you want to share with me?"

"I mean, if it's alright with you," you chuckled. He nodded and with that, your hands already started snaking towards his carton.

In the middle of watching the movie, as your hands were trying to get some of that delicacy, your hands bumped into his. You two looked at each other before looking away. Damn, this feels as if you two were the protagonists of a damn shoujo manga. Cringy, yet if you were the one to experience it, you'd be more flustered than you thought you would be in this kind of situation.

The movie finally ended and you stretched once you stood up. And holy fuck, it was great. 10/10, worth the money.

The ride for the bus to get back to the dorms was filled with, yours especially, endless talking. "I loved the movie so much! The scene where Kikanenenene fought all those enemy ghouligans was just so cool! And blah blah blah," you continued on and on and Todoroki just listened in without actually adding anything.

"What's your favorite part?" You asked him as you awaited for his answer. "When the protagonist ended up with the main female character," he answered and you nodded your head. "Didn't know that you were a romanticist," you humoured.

"It's because that's what I want to happen between the two of us," ah, he slipped again.
