OUTSIDE, KAGEYAMA LOOKED cool and calm.

It was always what everyone who never truly know him would think.

Oh how foolish they are to think that.

Much to the ravenette's dismay, he couldn't help but deny that that he is not calm right now.

If anything, he was just a dorky sheep in a cool wolf's clothing.

Especially towards the girl he likes.

The H/C-haired girl sat across him, minding her own business with her phone while wearing earphones.

Poor lad. He tried his best to stop stealing glances.

But he simply couldn't do so, his crush was sitting right in front of him.

So Kageyama continued to sit stiff while Y/N happily hummed along with a song.

What he didn't know was that the girl hid her true emotions well too.

In fact, since she was always a collected person, she had her mind and thoughts straight.

Though she couldn't deny that her heart raced due to the handsome prodigy that sat in front of her.

Their lunch were yet to be served so the atmosphere was a tad bit suffocating as there were no topics to be brought up.

Before Y/N decided to boldly take the move.

"So Kageyama-kun."

The setter almost jumped in his seat but replied with a monotone voice.

"Yeah?"

"Do you do morning jogs during weekends?" She asks.

"As much as possible I tend to.." He simply replied.

Y/N hummed and looked up. "Well, you and Hinata do race a lot~"

You chuckled, remembering the moments he and the shorter player would childishly race.

Kageyama lightly blsuhed out of embarassment. "O-oi! You saw that?"

The girl giggled. "It's fun to see you both race! Especially by the fact that Hinata could quickly catch up with you despite having shorter legs."

Annoyed, a vein popped out of Kageyam's head. "HAH? What's that supposed to mean?"

She puckered her lips. "Nothing~"

"Oh and.. have you been a fan for a while now?" He asks, referring to the band.

Her E/C-colored eyes glimmered. "YES! I've been attracted to the band because of their instrumental songs- but now that they have a vocalist, it just got better!"

Kageyama blushes at the adorable fangirl.

"They changed their band name to Given, right?"

The girl eagerly nodded. "Yup! They started their own social media page as well."

"You must really like them." He whistles in a low tune.

Y/N shrugged. "To be honest, who wouldn't? Their vocalist had a great voice as well~"

Glad that they brought up a topic, Kageyama then noticed a waiter approaching them bringing along a tray.

As both dug in, Kageyama felt the atmosphere settle down making him feel less stiff.

Y/N noticed his shoulders drop down, making her lips curve upwards in a small smile.

She was glad to know that the setter felt much relaxed than before.

"So how did you know them?" She asks.

"Ah, one of them is my cousin. His name is Uenoyama Ritsuka." He says, blowing his food.

The girl widen her eyes as her jaw dropped. "No.. no way..!"

Kageyama smirks. "He most definitely is. Though, we don't have the same last name."

"Wow that's so cool! Especially when he's a prodigy in the music community!"

"He's not that popular. After all, he only does music in small stages.."

He looks away, a bit jealous with his infamous scowl.

"You could say that.. Well, you're a prodigy yourself too! And in a wider community as such with volleyball!"

Kageyama clears his throat, trying to act cool. "That's nothing..!"

"Eh? I think it's amazing how a lot of people call you the genius setter! Especially how you set the ball really good!" Y/N grinned brightly.

The ravenette scratches his neck, lightly blushing.

"Is that.."

"A compliment? Of course!" She laughed.

Feeling even more flustered, he mumbles. "Th-thanks."

But he regains his composure as he straightened up.

"You should compliment yourself too Y/N. You're really good with arts." He shows a genuine and soft smile.

The H/C-haired girl laughed and smiled in return, thanking him.

Kageyama and Y/N headed where the concert will take place.

And unsurprisingly, the place was already packed.

"What a crowd~ Your cousin really is popular in this community after all."

The ravenette scoffs. "Tell me about it. I hate making crowds."

She rose a brow before mumbling herself. "Speak for yourself Mr. Genius-Prodigy-Setter."

"Oi! I heard that!"

"Good then! Besides, that was a compliment!" She huffed.

That was when a person appeared on stage with a grin, announcing that the concert would begin soon.

"Shit, we need to find a good spot."

Kageyama pouts since he finds it troublesome to find one, especially in a crowd like this.

Y/N giggled. "Aw~ Stop looking like that."

"Like what?"

"Like a baby! It wouldn't help if I'd fall for you because of that~" She teased.

Kageyama's face bloomed red. "H-h-hah?!"

Y/N nudged his arm with her shoulder with a chuckle. "Just teasing dummy. Don't take it seriously."

"W-whatever.. It wasn't like I believed in it or something.."

Amused, she only laughed. "Come on, let's find a spot. You better shield me!"

"Why would I? I'd let you be stomped by them anytime." He smugly smiles, proud of his height.

Y/N lightly slapped his arm but it didn't even hurt him the slightest.

"You're supposed to be a man! And man do those things!"

"But you like men with a baby-like look and personality, no?"

He states looking away, referring how she reacted to him pouting like a child just earlier.

Y/N pretended to think before leaning forward to Kageyama who immediately leaned back, startled by the distance that closed in.

"I like someone who acts like a baby because I find it cute, but I love it when they can be a gentleman who knows when not to be gentle." She winked, showing a sly grin.

Oh how those words spoke 'virgin' to Kageyama.

"Y-y-you l-lost your--!!"

"What?! Hey! I haven't done that you know! Heck, I never even had my first kiss..!" Y/N whispered-yelled, blushing even deeper than Kageyama looked.

The ravenette sighed in relief. "Good grief."

The girl rose a brow and pouted. "Besides, why does that concern you anyway?"

"N-nothing!"

Y/N shrugged it off with a smile and simply took his hand, startling the already flustered boy.

Showing an excited grin, she dragged Kageyama into the crowd. "Let's just enjoy the concert, yeah?"

'asqildagvcaiqwehaabwlja' Was what kept going on and on inside the poor setter's mind.

Being with his crush- holding her hand moreover- made him more nervous than the feeling he'd get when in an official play.

Kageyama walked speechless for a while before shaking his head, recollecting his thoughts.

He stood beside her, putting his free hand in his pocket while trying to prevent the other that Y/N held from sweating.

"Oh! We should take a picture." The girl remembered.

Kaeyama flushed pink.

It would be his first picture with Y/N, his crush.

So he instantly reacted, "S-send that to me too..!"

Too slow to hide the exciteness in his voice, the H/C-haired girl chuckled.

'Cute.' Was what she thought.

"Of course~" She said.

Sadly, her hand left his, making Kageyama frown a little.

But he jumped a little in his spot when he felt her lean in close.

Her cellphone in her hand as she positioned her arm as a selfie to take a picture.

"Setter, smile!" Y/N, exclaimed showing a happy smile while Kageyama stood there frozen and awkward.

She laughed, looking at the pictures she snapped.

"I'll send these to you later!" Y/N stated while the ravenette simply nodded.

He just took a selfie with his crush.

Happiness was an understatement. He couldn't express how delighted he felt.

Not until the girl stumbled in her spot when she felt a shoulder accidentally push her to her back. "Whoa!"

Kageyama widen his eyes.

As the girl closed her eyes, she prepared herself to hit the floor and for the embarassment that was yet to come.

But before her back could reach the floor, she felt strong and muscular arms catch her.

Y/N looked up to see the gorgeous setter's ocean blue eyes staring straight at her E/C-colored eyes.

They both shared no words.

His arms still wrapped around her frame, supporting her.

Strange.. their hearts were drumming loudly.

Maybe it was because of the loud sound that the concert's speaker gave?

Yeah, that must be it right?

Or could it be.. something else..

Kageyama blushed as so did she, before he spoke without a thought,

"I.. I think you just fell for me."
