"With that attitude, I'd wonder where he'd end up." Nishinoya crossed his arms.

"Yeah! Your snarky and sharp personality isn't gonna help Kageyama."

"SHUT UP IDIOT. I'll do it.." He groaned.

The two grinned before Nishinoya brought out his phone and opened to the website that would help them solve their problem.

"Right, first step!"

The Libero gestured them to take a glimpse of his phonescreen.

1) Don't come on too strong but try to

-Don't follow your crush around, it'll seem

"Right! So how do we grab her attention?" Hinata asks.

Nishinoya thought for a while before giving ideas to which the short middle blocker supported and added more.

Soon then the two were in the middle of their own mini-brainstorm session.

Kageyama, who thought it was childish on the other hand and a waste of his time-- so he successfully left them silently.

Volleyball practice was still an hour later so the setter decided drop by at the library and try studying.

Studying was never his forte despite carrying the name of Karasuno's 'genius setter'.

So why not try and give effort in the process of his academic grades.

But as soon as he did, it was as if his mind fled away leaving Kageyama's corpse behind

He was studying Modern Japanese and he is still no good at it.

Cursing under his breath, he hit his head on the table.

"Ah, Modern Japanese?"

The familiar female tone sent Kageyama's head to shot up.

Soon enough he was a blushing mess when he found his crush sitting beside him.

Y/N smiled. "Hey Kageyama." She chriped.

Kageyama blushed, looking away to hide it.

"Are you studying the subject?"

"Y-yes.."

"Ah~ I can help you if you want!" She smiled, offering willingly.

He hesitated to agree knowing that he'd only make a fool of himself.

"It's going to be a waste of your time L/N-chan.." Kageyama's voice wavered nervously.

She chuckled sending jitters to his spine. "Nah~ It won't be, silly."

"So um... Why are you here?" He asks, rather boldy.

"Well I wanted to return the book I borrowed. Guess you caught my attention when you hit your head on the table so I was worried."

Flustered and embarassed, he cursed under his breath. Looking down on his notes.

'Caught her attention huh...' He thought to himself.

"Here, I'll help you." She kindly says before asking him if she can borrow his pen.

Not wanting to trust his words, he only nodded before handing her the material.

During the first moments, he knew he can't focus so it led him to make mistakes during the some-what of a tutor session.

Although, Y/N kept encouraging him motivating the setter to be more presistent as well.

Kageyama didn't talk much, preventing to ask questions as much as possible just in case if he'd make an embarassment of himself.

He got the hang of the subject though and she was happy to know that she helped.

Y/N was happily teaching Kageyama while the ravenette enjoyed the time he's spending with you.

That was until the H/C-haired maiden remembered his practice to which the boy immediately reacted loudly.

"Don't you have practice later in about... 5 minutes?" Y/N questioned, looking at him wirting.

Kageyama almost broke his pen when the sudden realization hit him.

"SHIT."

The profanity made Y/N's eyes widen in surprise.

That was before Kageyama quickly bowed down in apology and gratitude to the surprised girl before shoving his belonging to his bag quickly running away.

Halfway to the court, the boy suddendly stop.

'Fuck. I shouted a curse word out loud- Fuck. I didn't offer to walk her out- fucking'

His body twitched before he crouched down groaning loudly.

Seeing the setter arrive, Hinata quickly skipped towards him, unknown to the radiating dark aura surrounding him.

"Kageyama! Where were you-"

"Get lost." Kageyama glared intensely, sending shivers to the decoy's spine.

The words he spat were laced with anger making his voice an octave deeper.

Hinata and the others stared at him dumbfounded as Kageyama harshly stomped with his body, stiff.

"Is he okay?" Sugawara asks.
