At Colleen's house.. A knock on the door sounds. She frowns at her son. "I wonder who that could be eh?."

She picks up her little boy and walks to the door. She opens it and to her surprise the visiter is Skylar. "Skylar what on earth are you doing here?."

Skylar shrugs "I need to talk to you.. Can I come in?."

Colleen nodded. "Sure."
Skylar smiled nervously. "Where's Lyle?."

Colleen shrugs "He's out looking for work again... Is that why your here because I can call him?."

Skylar's eyes widen. "Sort of and no please don't call him."

Skylar walks to the living room. The living room was filled with gold wallpaper and a Red carpet. It was like stepping into an Egyptian room.

Colleen's eyes follow Skylar worriedly as Skylar starts pacing the length of the room.

Colleen frowns "What's going on?."

Skylar bites her lip and summons all her courage before it was too late. "I've been sleeping with your husband Lyle."

From Skylar's point of view it was impossible to to tell how Colleen had taken it in because from this point Colleen goes slightly quiet.

Colleen walks away from Skylar into a second room which was the blue nursery and places her son in a play pen and leaves the room with the door slightly a jar.

She walks back into the living room facing Skylar. "How long?."

Skylar could barely speak because all of her sudden her new found confidence had gone. It was like suddenly the guilt had hit her like a train and she was slowly but surely regretting saying anything.

Colleen repeats her question angrily. "HOW LONG?."

Skylar stutters "Since.. He asked you to marry him."

Colleen sinks down onto the sofa taking all this in. "Two years!.. Two years my best friend was cheating on me with my husband!!" She gets up and pushes Skylar slightly. "Why didn't you tell me before I married him or better yet Why didn't you keep your filthy hands off my husband?!"

Skylar sighs not knowing what to say. "I could say sorry till I'm blue in the face but I'm only here because refused to tell you about us and the fact he got kicked out of rehab."

Colleen sighs not knowing what exactly to do with this new found information. "And I'm supposed to be grateful?!.."

Skylar blinks tears falling down her eyes.

Colleen snaps "I don't know why your crying when it's my family that you are splitting up!.. Get out!.. I don't want anything to do with you anymore."

Skylar stutters "Oh come on don't be like that.. Let's be friends please..I said I'm sorry.."

Colleen growls "You really have no idea what you've done do you?!.. I said Get Out."

Skylar swallows nervously at the sound of Colleen's voice.. Colleen had yelled so loudly that her son had started crying.

But for Skylar she realised she had outstayed her welcome and without another word she left the house and never looked back.
