How To Read This Book

Here's how to fall in love:

1. Don't.

In my limited experiences as a human being in this universe with emotions, the best way to fall in love is to not. So far, it's worked pretty well.
Ok, before you throw this book across the room and curse me for having a misleading title, just a little heads up that I will give you actual advice later in the book. I just have to be philosophical for a second.

Falling in love is a delicate, blunt, messy, neat, painful, blissful experience. Those of you who have been in love before, you know what I'm talking about. Maybe you have had the fortune to fall in love with someone you're going out with. Or maybe you've been in love with somebody who you have never exchanged a word with in your life. Either way, it is a very common paradox. It is technically not classified as a paradox, as it allegedly exists, but still. It's like when you're happy and sad at the same time. No, wait. It is when you're happy and sad at the same time. Mildly intriguing, but not enough to go off on a tangent about.

Don't think I forgot about the chapter topic. I most definitely did not. In fact, I'll talk about it right now. Spoiler alert: this book will be more about not falling in love than falling in love. Don't worry though. If you really came to take my advice(even though I told you explicitly that you probably shouldn't), most of my advice about how to do things is written in a specific way. If you don't want to do the things I tell you how to do, you can just do exactly the opposite of what I say(and vice versa).

Ok, enough of my mediocre attempt at an intro. Go ahead and read the book if you're interested. If you're not, that's probably ok. Most bookstores have return policies.
