How To Feel Awake On School Days

So school is back for some people and I am unfortunately back to waking up at six am. I know I feel like a zombie whenever I wake up and even throughout the day I'm tired. My body just isn't built to cope with little sleep and waking up early is really hard for me.

Anyway, here are my tips to feeling awake in school (coming from someone who is always tired at school)

1. Eat a good breakfast that will give you slow release energy so when you get to school, you should have some energy all morning.
2. Have a big drink of water in the morning- I find this wakes me up.
3. Splash your face with water when you first wake up so you're awake from the get go.
4. If you can, try and walk outside a bit as the morning air should wake you up a little bit.
5. When you see your friends in the morning before school, try and be high energy as this will make you feel more awake.
6. DON'T PRESS THE SNOOZE BUTTON. Wake up when your alarm beeps because it means you have more time to get ready for school meaning you won't feel so rushed.
7. Listen to some calm music and slowly begin to play music with a higher tempo as this will gradually wake up your brain.
