Yes, I am a homestuck trash. That has now been confirmed. But this fandom does need help with the OCs in it. I have seen thee most hellish OCs ever. From being matesprits with Gamzee/Eridan to black blood. So I'm just going to start.

Blood color. It is fine to have fuchsia bloods and mutant bloods. But for gods sake, if I see one more Lime/Black/White/Grey/Rainbow blood. Someone IS going to die. Black, white, and grey are not really colors when you think of it. Rainbow bloods don't make sense. Lime bloods are fucking extinct because they were feared by Highbloods. Well I don't know if that part is canon, but I believe Calliope said something similar. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think it is completely wrong to hate someone's OC because its close to Feferi's or Karkat's. As long as you don't make it one of the five "Blood" colors that I despise, that means I might actually like your OC. Also some different blood colors have powers. But the higher you go in the castes, the less likely the troll has powers. But please don't make a mutant with mind manipulation. Piss bloods have psionics. Mud bloods have the ability to communicate with animals. Just look at the canon trolls. But one ALL high bloods have a thing called high blood rage. Please don't say "But Feferi is so nice, she wouldn't hurt a fly." SHE ATTACKED ERIDAN AFTER HE SEMI KILLED SOLLUX. Don't let her get away with that, but don't let Eridan get away with it. ALL high bloods have a anger problem, it just varys from every one of them.

Next up, appearance. It depends if your troll is from Alternia or Beforus. For the people who don't know, Alternia has Karkat, Eridan, Sollux and the rest of them. Beforus has their ancestors that are known as Kankri, Damara, Mituna, and the ones like them. On Alternia the fashion is very plain and you have to keep your sign the color of your blood. Shirts with one design, being your OC's sign in their blood color, and pants or long skirts. The higher they are in the castes. the more they can add accessories to their outfit. But try not to over do it, and keep the colors pretty monotone. You can always look at the canon trolls for ideas. Beforus has a different stlye of clothing, in which their sign is often weaved into their clothing. However their are some Beforus trolls who don't even put their sign on their clothing, Kurloz to give a example. So Beforus gives you alot more room to design the clothes of your OC. But all trolls have black hair, grey skin, horns, and (For most people) sharp teeth. A troll may have part of their hair dyed, just not all of it. And the grey can change with hue, saturation, value, or just the the color of your troll's blood. Also, don't make identical horns to the canon trolls, I can help you with horn design if you ever need it.

Now it's races. Having human and troll OCs are fine. But you want the one race you can make your OC that not many people like but I love? Cherubs. To me, they are the most interesting race. Now some people don't like them because Caliborn is supposed to be the last living cherub. You, you guys do remember how messed up everything is right? So in short, it is fine to have OCs of all races. Just not interracial races, because Mother Nature is a very odd Mistress. So no troll/human OCs, or anything like that. Also, Cherubs "mate" in the weirdest way ever, so how would they even have a interracial kid? I'm not even going to ask, because like a Cherub and a troll mating. It would just be a big snake and a little snake, if you know what I mean. Sorrynotsorry.

Lastly relationships. If I see one more OC that is flushed (In love) for Gamzee, Eridan, or Karkat. I'm going to fucking stab a bitch. That goes for all different relationships with ANY canon character. I'm sick of it. In fact I'm sick of anything related to relationships. For many reasons. 1. The constant misinterpretation of Kismesis, 2. "Oehmygerd, my ORIGINAL charatcer is toaly in love with Erihottie, but she just despices Fefbitch. Cause she rejected a hot mes like Erihottie" 3. Because I lost half of my brain cells writing that. 4. The canon characters are often acting OOC (Out of character) because someone wants a OC x Canon thing. 5. EVERYTHING ELSe. Look, the relationships are like this, because I can't put them in any other way. Matesprits = "Fuck me." Moirail = "You my little fuck." Auspistice = "Calm the fuck down." Kismesis = "Fuck you." That's the best way I can explain it without writing a novel in the process.
