Now, before you write anything you gotta think of the theme, the aura that is going to surround your book and what you want it to feel like. This can also help when it comes to thinking of ideas for your book if you're stuck, first, INSPIRATION.

Find something that inspires you, a book or a show or anything that really kicks up ideas you want for your book and take notes, of course don't steal anything but think about how that media flows, how it deals with its problems and other things.

Having inspiration can really help, for example, my main series book that I'm writing right now is inspired by, the furry horror game echo and arcane. Also night in the woods. The media doesn't have to necessarily be in the situations or even be anything liek what your story'svibe is going to be but just something that really makes you think.

Next, SONGS.
Now songs can help a lot, they can inspire scenes feels damn the entire book but it really depends on what songs. If your thinking for an idea for your book try to think of the aura you want for the book and look for songs that inspire you with that aura, if you already have the idea but are having trouble with scenes listening to songs can also help with coming up with those.
Some songs 5hat I really love and inspire me of my book are.
No turning back by koda, Do I wanna know by arctic monkeys, what could have been by arcane, and the crying scene music from fuelled. Some of these barely have anything to do with my book but again they help with ideas.

Finally, mood boards.
Mood boards can help a lot with the aura, not just that but looking at photos and art can help too. now I'm going to give ya a little sneak peak at the behind the scenes mood board for my shootdown book I'm writing rn, like I mentioned before...
