Another thing that would really make the character seem more original is to think of this,
-Are they dead?
-How did they die?
-What are their powers?
-Are you looking for a certain genre of creepypasta?

And yes there are multiple different types of creepypasta. BEN Drowned for example. He uses electronics to stalk and eventually kill his victims. He's an electronic type CP. Eyeless Jack, a demon. Sally, a lost soul. Slender is a mythical creature, Judge angel a fallen angel. Etc etc, so think of what kind of CP fits your character.

And you want the backstory to be reasonable, (just a heads up, parents abusing their children is a little over used if you ask me) so you would probably want to find something more original like one of my OCS for an example. She was in an accident that gave her brain issues and she started hallucinating things and hearing voices that sounded like her dead family (her parents and two siblings died in the crash) over a long period of time, made her go crazy.

Ya know? Something new, hopefully that nobody has heard of before. Because I've seen some pretty bad Mary Sues and so many OC CPs that weren't original at all, either they're copyright or they all seem the same. Black long hair blood red eyes pale white skin, likes blood. That's 50% of them out there. Blood lust and insanity is a thing and all, but please, add it suitably.

And don't get me wrong, I've seen some really cool original characters that really caught my eye, so don't be discouraged to make one!

Some weapon ideas would be possibly throwing knives in the boots, or a scythe on the back, assassin sleeve knifes, a sword etc. there are so many cool weapon ideas and designs, if you don't have any ideas, you can just look it up too!

Another thing I enjoy to do with OCs is to make outfits for them. It's fun and there are so many customizable ideas that can really show of your characters personality. If you want them to seem more mysterious you might give them a black hood with white lining and a glowing scar on their cheek or something. You want it to pop, but give off a creepy/cool/mysterious aura. Maybe give it a sharp or pointed kind of design to make it seem cool, but not to un-achievable.
