thinking about you, you're in my head
I know it's been a millennium since I last updated this, but I've finally got a few more suggestions!
-Draw something: if you draw, your attention will be focused on that, not the scarring fanfiction.
-Listen to music: same as drawing.
-Write your own fanfic! If you write one, you can choose what happens, also it keeps your mind off of the fanfiction which caused you to be scarred in the first place. You can make it as fluffy, angsty, sad, anything as you want. Just don't write your own cursed fanfic, as that might make you feel even worse.
-Sing or write music: Same as drawing and listening to music.
-Go for a walk: Although we're in the midst of a pandemic, you can still walk around your yard, around your house, or if you have a large enough property, through that. Just don't take this as a chance to dwell on the fanfiction. Instead, focus on the little things- can you hear grass rustling in the wind? What about birds chirping?
-Create literally anything: even if you aren't comfortable with writing, or you aren't fond of your art skills, you can still make something! Try making origami, there's plenty of tutorials online which you can make with printer paper. You could also try making other paper crafts, like snowflakes and airplanes. You could choreograph a dance to your favourite song, or dance to the ones on TikTok.
Call your friends or family: talking to people can keep your mind off things!
You can use any of these suggestions to keep your mind off anything, not just cursed fanfiction!
