This may be one of the most important steps you will ever read, and that is why I am putting it first. Be prepared. I will only state this once. But this step may be the difference you have between life and death.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT EVER, call Kaileigh short. Do not call her small, do not call her short stack or midget or any other height defining word.

If Kaileigh mentions her height you nod, or say something inoffensive. If she admits she is short do not upstage her, do not make her feel bad or uncomfortable.

Instead make her feel okay about her height. Admit that there are short people and tall people, but your height does not define you.

If Kaileigh is feeling bad about her height, encourage her. Tell her the many feats of short people, and even go as far as to tell her that being tall can suck.

But remember do not call her height defining names including but not limited to:

- short stack
- elf
- midget
- shortie
- small
- little
- short
- mini person
Etc.

Only if granted permission, which is highly unlikely, by Kaileigh, may you call her these words.

Failure to abide to step one may result in any of the following injuries:

- broken spine
- broken leg
- dislocated knee
- shattered shins
- decapitation
And lastly
- death

This is step one in caring for Kaileigh.
