I'm Wayne, I write stories. A few tips I have for you readers are as follows.

Don't confuse your reader with interactions between large groups of characters, tremendously high usage of large words, etc. It won't sit well with a reader if they need a dictionary beside them to understand your book. Also, refrain from high usage of romaji Japanese words such as kawaii, senpai, etc. Especially where they don't fit, like with an American character (or any other non-japanese nationality).

If you're going to use a large word, make sure that the readers can gather a loose definition from the surrounding context. For example, if you're describing the beauty of something to be "amaranthine," or undying like it's mythical flower namesake, be sure to include undying somewhere in the surrounding sentence, like in the sentence, "Her beauty was amaranthine. It was as if a goddess was standing atop the grassy knoll, surrounded by small flowers, and not the girl he had been friends with over the years."

Now some advice about the more core elements of your book. The cover. You want to have an enticing cover that makes the possible reader want to click/tap on your story. If you're writing a love story, perhaps the two characters on a hill overlooking their hometown.

That is all I have for now. Thanks for reading and I hope to see your books on the top of their genre one day.

Whoops late update. Comment down below if you wanna give tips. -S
