I didn't wake up to any Disney princess stereotypical singing of birds or perfect hair blowing with the wind. None of that. I woke up and checked my clock. 6:45 pm

So I was asleep for the whole day? Was I really that tired? I look at the door to see a grinning husband named, Jake.

"Was I sleeping for more than half the day?"

"No, you fell asleep, tired of picking your outfit. When you found one, you just collapsed and fell asleep."

"An outfit for what?" I asked, really confused. 

"That thing with Kevin, was it really that insignificant that a single sleep could make you forget?" he poked fun at the situation. 

So I hadn't gone out with him yet? It was a dream, the kiss, the infidelity? It was a dream. Especially since I didn't kiss back..but. I still dreamt of it. 

I can't help but be disappointed in myself.

It's late at night and I feel a little perched. I grab my phone as I went out of the room and off to the kitchen. I placed my phone on the counter to have it charged while I got a glass of water and it starts to vibrate. I thought of having a late night snack so I heat up some leftover spaghetti. Yes, spaghetti is my life. My phone kept vibrating, receiving notifications so I went ahead and checked it.

It was all from the same receiver. 

Kevin.

I scrolled at all the notifications I read.

Where are you? -Kevin
...
Did you fall asleep again?- Kevin
...
Hailey, I'm worried, did something bad happen?- Kevin
...
Are you still coming? We can cancel it if you want- Kevin
...

And the latest message sent  just a few minutes ago.

I'm still waiting, Hailey. I'm still waiting for you- Kevin.

He's been waiting for that long? But, why? Why didn't he just leave?

I texted him back.

Sorry, I have to cancel. I just didn't feel ready for it- Hailey

I felt guilty for making him wait so long but my phone was drained the entire time I passed out. 

It's fine. I respect your choice and if I really can't have the chance it's fine. I know I hurt you and I just want to apologize again- Kevin

Before I can even reply, he sends another message.

Have a good night. I'll be going home then, bye- Kevin
