Chapter Thirteen =-= The Rules! =-=

Third Person Point of View

Jerome's eyes shot open and he pulled away, fear shining in his eyes. He raised his arm close to his chest as if anything could happen to his soft, melted heart. "I-Is there something wrong?" Mitch asked worried for his new lover. "He he.. No. Nothing. E-everything is alright!" Jerome chuckled nervously. Mitch didn't exactly get fooled by his lie. "Jerome I.. I'm sorry if I was a bad kisser or anything.. It was personally my first time, unlike the first kiss we had long ago, but that's not the point and I-." Jerome waved his hands in front of Mitch's face. "No no no! You weren't bad! It was pretty good! I enjoyed it." Jerome said, flushed. Oh god.. I actually enjoyed it.. He thought to himself in a panic. Mitch flushed pure red. "I uh.. He he. Thanks.." Mitch smiled and gazed out into the fields. Jerome began to worry. If.. If I can't break up with him.. I can't be a heart breaker.. Shit. He thought.

Jerome quietly sighed and tangled his fingers into Mitch's. Mitch was caught off guard and jumped slightly at the sudden touch. He soon relaxed and leaned onto Jerome's shoulder. "So.. Does this make us-" "A thing? Yeah it does." Jerome smiled a real smile, not one of his usual smirks. Mitch's heart fluttered and twirled around. "Thank you Jerome.. For a lot of things really." Jerome glanced at Mitch in confusion. "How so?" Mitch's smile slightly faded. "I was worried they were right.. My friends. They say so many bad things about you, but I don't want to believe it.. Like Jason." Jerome narrowed his eyes slightly. He didn't like Jason so much. He was always.. Thinking. "Saying that you are a heart breaker and that I shouldn't be near you.." Jerome began to sweat. Well he isn't lying.. "Hmph! He doesn't even know me! He has no right to judge me.. it's not fair.." Jerome frowned. Mitch frowned as well and engulfed Jerome in a hug. "I know.. I don't believe him though of course. I like you a lot.. Like a lot a lot." Mitch rubbed the back of his neck. Jerome smiled once more and wrapped an arm around Mitch's waist. He chuckled. "I know." Jerome nuzzled his head into Mitch's neck.

"Thanks Jerome, for this amazing day." Mitch waved. "No problem. I enjoyed it. Bye Mitch." "Bye Jerome." Mitch smiled and walked off into his house. Once he closed the door he sighed happily and slid down the door. "Had a good day?" Mitch's mother asked, a sly smirk on her face. Mitch nodded and stood up. She laughed slightly. "I'm glad you did honey." She kissed the top of his head. "Now time for bed. Night Mitch." "Alright night mom." Mitch walked to his room and plopped down onto his bed. He smiled wide and stuffed his face with his pillow. He giggled into it and slowly fell asleep.

Jerome Point of View

"What do you mean 'you don't know if you can'?!" Alesa hollered. I flinched a bit. "I'm saying I don't know if I can truly break his heart.." I rubbed the back of my neck. Alesa was pissed. She swung her hand across my face, giving me a hard slap. "You idiot! Don't you dare mess this up! The rules Jerome! THE RULES!" She growled and walked away, probably leaving my house. I sighed and plopped onto my bean bag. Rubbing my cheek and thought for a moment. Damn.. What were the rules? Wait-how is this happening to me?! I can't remember the song! That stupid, worthless song! I stayed silent for a moment. "What has this boy done to me..?"

I know its really short, but I feel the need to let this out. Plus, Mitch in Wonderland, so enjoy!
