(Swimming Pool, Alice’s POV: )

Moriarty led me into the pool, a pistol barrel on my back. I was breathing slowly, remembering what he said about him knowing everything about me. John was there too, a man strapping a Semtex vest onto him. As soon as he saw Moriarty, he left. John looked at me sadly. I sighed and moved forward from the gun to John, knowing Moriarty wouldn’t kill me. I hugged John.

“Oh, please. Move away, my dear.” Jim said, moving the pistol back and forth from me to the wall. I obeyed and stepped next to Moriarty again. John swallowed slowly as Moriarty gave him an earpiece. “Don’t worry, Johnny-boy... just say what I tell you to and no one will get hurt.” He said, giving John an ill-fitting nickname. He forced John into one of the stalls and turned to me. “Now what to do with you...” He said in a sing-song voice. “To just to a vest like him would be lazy of me...” I rolled my eyes and sighed. He seemed amused. “I’ll just have you by me. That sounds nice, doesn’t it, love?” I clenched my fists, thankful that the gauze was there. He chuckled. “Have I upset you?” He asked in mock concern.

“Go. To. Hell.” I said, not afraid that he would kill me at this point; I was a valuable asset.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk... That wasn’t very nice.” He faked pouting. I shot him a look and he looked at me darkly. He moved us away to behind a door, and we waited.
