Travis' POV
I stopped crying to look at my beautiful boyfriend once again. I looked at him expecting to see him in the same position he has been for the past week but...no.

I saw his eyes slowly open and then looked heard the one thing I have wanted him to say all week.

'T-T-Travis...' he stuttered.

'Oh my Irene NURSE QUICK!' I called.

'It's ok baby it's going to be ok now your awake you'll be fine I love you so much you know that right?' I asked him.

He just nodded. The nurse rushed in and escorted me out of the room, I immediately had to call his brothers.

1 Hour Later

Travis' POV
I was waiting outside of Zane's room waiting for news, any news at all. I hated knowing that my beautiful boyfriend is suffering in the room right in front of me and I am powerless to do anything.

I began crying harder than I ever have before, the thought that I was so close to losing him and that I brought him out of the trance he was in, it's strange.

I heard a cluster of footsteps running up the corridor. I kept my head down sobbing into my hands.

'Travis?' I heard a voice ask me.

'I-I think he's awake I haven't been told anything yet' I cried softly.

'Travis look up please' another voice says.

I look up and see Garroth, Vylad and Zianna smiling down at me. They sit down in the chairs next to me.

'Travis, Hun, I understand how much Zane truly means to you, you've shown me this week but not leaving his side. I am so glad that Zane has found a lovely man like you to love him and be by his side through this and everything that has happened up until now and I know that Zane loves you too much for your relationship to end here' Zianna said smiling at me.

I hugged her tight, I don't know why but I did. I had never had a mother but since me and Zane told Zianna about or relationship she has basically become a mother to me and I couldn't be happier. I let go of her and smiled.

'Thank you Zianna, and you Garroth and Vylad. You guys have basically become family and I'm happy that Zane has you guys as his family' I said smiling.

I watched the door to Zane's room open and a nurse come out.

'Hey there guys my name is Lilly. Which one of of you is Travis?' She asked.

'Me why?' I asked standing up.

'Zane is asking for you, the rest of you can come in once Travis has been in' she said to Garroth, Vylad and Zianna as she escorted me inside. She led me inside.

'I'll leave you two alone for a moment and I'll explain what's happening to Zane to his mother' she said leaving the room.

I looked over to the bed that I had been sitting by for the past week. A pair of beautiful baby blue eyes looked back at me.

'Come over here and hug me already' Zane said softly laughing.

I ran over and hugged him tight crying softly into his chest. I heard him wince in pain and I remembered he was stabbed. I pulled away.

'Hey baby look at me I'm fine' he said smiling.

'I'm sorry I should have protected you! I should have done more! I should never have gone there! You nearly died protecting me!' I cried.

'Please Travis don't blame yourself. I would do it all again if I had too' Zane said reassuringly.

I saw Zane look at me in a weird way.

'What's wrong?' I asked.

'You haven't left since I was brought in have you?' He asked worried.

'No...how did you know that?' I asked.

'Your wearing the same clothes' he said frowning.

'I'll go home while your parents are here and I'll get dressed ok?' I asked laughing.

'Yeah, hey come here' he told me. I came in close to him and he kissed me softly.

2 Weeks Later

Zane's POV
I cant believe what happened I really can't believe that my own father would not only physically harm my but harm me...with intent to kill.

'Love are you ok?' Travis asked me from the chair next to my bed.

'Yeah I'm fine I'm just thinking about...him' I said frowning.

'Don't give him the luxury, don't even think about him until he and my father are behind bars' Travis said clutching my hand.

'Thank you Travis you really know how to make me smile...I love you' I said smiling at him.

'I love you too Zane you know I do' Travis said smiling.

I leaned in and kissed his soft lips, sparks flew in my stomach, I loved kissing him. We were sadly interrupted by the nurse coming into the room.

'Hey guys sorry for interrupting' the nurse said coming into the room giggling.

'No it's fine Lilly what's up?' Travis asked laughed.

'Well Zane your doctor has concluded that you can go home as long as you your not at home alone' Lilly said smiling.

'Really? Awesome we'll get ready to leave then' I said giddy with excitement.

'Ok see you in a bit' she said smiling as she left.

'She's been a great help right?' Travis said smiling.

'Yeah' I said trying to stand.

I fell to the ground from pain in my stomach.

'Zane!' Travis yelled running to my side.

'Sorry Travis I wanted to try and stand by myself for once' I said frowning as he helped my up.

'Zane I know you want to do things for yourself but I'm here to help you and walking is one job at the moment for both of us' he said smiling.

'I know I just thought I should try....thank you Travis' I thanked.

'Don't thank you I would do anything for you....now let's get you dressed' Travis said smiling and I agreed.
