Everybody in the Phandom knows the Hat fic exists.

Everybody talks about it.

Everybody says "don't read it".

Everybody is told it's traumatising.

I'm one of this everybody.

That's why I read it.

Wait, wait, wait ! Let me explain myself (if there's something to explain).

I'm a curious person. Plus I thought "it can't be that bad". But it actually can apparently.

So I went on the Internet and I typed "The hat fic".

SO. MANY. RESULTS.

WHY DONT PEOPLE WANT US TO READ IT IF THEY POST IT EVERYWHERE ?

So I clicked on the first link. But the person was like "It's not the original" so I thought it was a fanfiction about the hat fic. (Inception)

That's why I decided I wouldn't read it. And I went on Tumblr because... well tumblr is life. That's when I saw a thing called "the cutest phanfic ever *-*".

It was NOT the cutest phanfic ever.

It was The Hat Fic.

And I read it because I wanted some fluff.

At some point, I realised it wasn't fluff at all. But I kept on reading it.

Don't judge me.

And then I thought "maybe... maybe I'm reading the hat fic right now". And I was.

I didn't stop my reading.

I don't know why.
