Creating Chaos in Town & the Post Office/Two Opposites Meet

The Devil laughed mischievously as he entered New York City in his cloak and with a goofy looking mask on his face to create some chaos in New York City.

"Merry Christmas!" A human and demon couple said to the Devil in his disguise while riding a two person bike through town.

"Yeah, you bet. Ho, ho, ho, and stuff." The Devil said not caring a whole lot about Christmas coming around the corner.

Suddenly, the human and demon couple that was on the bike fell apart and everyone around the couple gasped in shock and surprise at what happened.

"Oh, my. Somebody has vandalized that vehicle. You see, Spike? The city is a dangerous place." The Devil said looking at Spike.

Spike just rolled his eyes.

The Devil hated Christmas. The whole Christmas season.

"Top of the morning." A human citizen said to the Devil.

"Flatfoot." The Devil said waving off the Christmas spirit.

The Devil had a tool behind his back.

Now, please, don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.

"Here's a present for you. Be sure to run real fast with it. Come on.  Double time. Move." The Devil said giving the tool to a human kid and demon kid who took it and ran off with it.

It could be that his head wasn't screwed on just right, or it could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight. But I think that the most likely reason of all, may have been that his heart was two sizes too small.

"Hey, stranger, won't let you go till you buy a chapeau!" A business anthropomorphic clothed animal seller said stopping the Devil with his cane.

The Devil lifted his mask off of his face and burped in the poor business anthropomorphic clothed animal seller's face.

That caused him to hit the wall behind him and fall to the snowy ground.

Suddenly, the same human and demon couple had their bike fixed went over the business anthropomorphic clothed animal seller who was unconscious.

"Boy, nothing beats Christmas, right?" Arsenio Johnson asked.

He and Gracie were carry presents to the car and to the house.

"I guess. . ." Gracie said unsure about the Christmas time.

"You guess?" Arsenio Johnson asked.

"Well, it's just, I look around at you and Mom and everyone getting all kerbobbled. Doesn't this seem. . .superfluous?" Gracie asked worriedly.

Gracie was kind of worried for Arsenio Johnson, Sunset Shimmer, and everyone in New York City getting stuff and not spending time with family.

And just as Arsenio Johnson was about to answer Gracie, snow covered Tom and Marco came to the street where Arsenio Johnson and Gracie was on.

"Dad! Dad!" Tom and Marco shouted as Arsenio Johnson and Gracie looked at them in shock and confusion at them being covered in snow.

"What happened to you?" Arsenio Johnson asked his two snow covered sons.

"It was the Devil!" Tom said as he and Marco shivered in the snow they were covered in.

This had caused everyone to stop what they were doing and looked at the two boys.

The music stopped to a screeching halt.

"Devil?" Everyone asked in confusion, surprise, and shock.

The Devil looked up from whatever he was doing.

"What do you want? I mean. . ."Devil? Oh, no!"." The Devil said at the last part in a fake woman's voice.

The Devil dives into the snow.

Adagio Dazzle come out of her office with Amy Rose, her Mayor assistant following right by her with a concern look on her face.

Adagio Dazzle is the mayor that is around the same age as Arsenio Johnson, has orange-yellow hair, violet eyes and wore a purple dress, a spiked headband, a necklace with her pendate, and a orange belt with a diamond on the front.

Amy Rose is the aide of Adagio Dazzle, has pink fur, green eyes, and wore a dark pink dress.

"Did someone just say "Devil"?" Mayor Adagio Dazzle asked.

"Hello, Mayor Adagio Dazzle." Arsenio Johnson said.

Mayor Adagio Dazzle and Amy Rose approached Arsenio Johnson, Gracie, Tom, and Marco.

"Arsenio, I don't need to remind you all that this Christmas marks the one thousandth New York City celebration." Adagio said.

"New York City's most important celebration!" Amy Rose said.

Amy Rose handed Adagio Dazzle the book to go through it.

"And the Book of New York City says very clearly "Every size of New York citizen we can measure knows that New York City celebration is a time we must treasure!" Now, Arsenio, please tell me that your boys were not up on the Appalachian Mountains provoking the one creature within a billion bilometers of here who hates Christmas!" Mayor Adagio said going through the book and giving the book back to Amy Rose.

"But it was the Devil!" Tom and Marco said.

They were trying to explaining everything that happened to the on the Appalachian Mountains with Star and Sticks.

"No, ma'am, the boys didn't see any Devil." Arsenio Johnson said.

He tried not to have his sons freak everyone out in the city.

"It was and he came after. . ." Tom and Marco said.

The two boys were protesting on what they saw.

Arsenio Johnson covered both of their mouths still from freaking everyone out in the city and smiled nervously.

"I think they were up on the mountains playing with matches, or defacing public property, or. . ." Arsenio Johnson said making up excuses.

Mayor Adagio Dazzle sighed in relief.

"That's a relief. All right, you heard the man: There is no Devil problem here." Mayor Adagio Dazzle said.

Everyone cheered and went back to what they were doing.

The music continued playing where it left off.

The Devil had a spitball tube in his mouth and spitted a spitball at Mayor Adagio Dazzle.

Mayor Adagio Dazzle wiped the spitball off and looked at it in disgust.

The Devil laughed mischievously at what he did.

Later at the post office, Arsenio Johnson and Knuckles were very busy getting everyone their mail and getting their packages sent out on a certain day.

"I need it there by tomorrow." A demon citizen said handing Knuckles a package.

Knuckles nodded and went to give the package to Arsenio Johnson to be mailed out.

"Heck of a rush. Merry Christmas, Knuckles. Heck of a rush." Arsenio Johnson said taking the package from Knuckles.

Arsenio Johnson placed it in the mailing container and went to go put mail in people's mail boxes or to grab mail from people's mail boxes.

"But, Dad, I just don't understand something. Why won't people talk about the Devil?" Gracie asked curiously.

Arsenio Johnson climbed up the ladder to put mail in the more high mail boxes and stopped to ponder his daughter's question about the Devil after put the mail in the more high mail boxes.

"You kids and the Devil. You see, Gracie, the Devil is a person who always. . .Actually, not a person. He's more of a. . ." Arsenio Johnson said trying to decide on what to call the Devil.

Gracie got him out of deciding on what to call the Devil.

"A what?" Gracie asked curiously.

Arsenio Johnson went back and forth on the ladder and putting all of the mail in different people's mailboxes.

"Exactly, honey. And he's a What who doesn't like Christmas. Take a look in his mailbox, sweetie. Not a single Christmas card, in or out. Ever!" Arsenio Johnson said.

Gracie looked into the Devil's mailbox to see it covered in cobwebs.

"But why?" Gracie asked.

Arsenio Johnson tried to think of why until he was being called by people saying they got the wrong mail from their mailboxes or just waiting for their mail.

"Arsenio, where's my mail?"

"Arsenio! Got the wrong mail here!"

"Arsenio! I got the wrong mail!"

"I'll be right there!" Arsenio Johnson said coming over after getting off of the ladder to fix the situation about the mail.

"Arsenio, we got a problem!"

Knuckles, a red echidna helping Arsenio out with the mail nodded in confirmation.

"All right, we'll straighten this out." Arsenio Johnson said trying to get everything fixed between people with the right mail.

While in the sorting room, the Devil was mixing up the mail for different people and laughed at his plan on switch people's mail.

"It will take them years to sort this out. This is his and now, it's yours, and this is hers, and now, it's his! And the rest of you." The Devil said smirking evilly.

He went a few feet away from the mail slots to fling people's mail by mixing up the mail.

"Jury duty! Jury duty! Jury duty! Blackmail. Pink slip. Chain letter. Eviction notice. Jury duty!" The Devil said flinging different mail into different people's mailboxes.

He flings the last of the mail.

Spike rolled his eyes once again.

"Would you mind helping me take this to the back room, honey? Be careful of the sorting machine, right?" Arsenio Johnson said joking and handing Gracie a small stack of mail to put in the sorting room.

Gracie nodded.

"Yeah." Gracie said heading to the sorting room.

Once Gracie went into the sorting room, she looked around her curiously at everything when she heard something fall on the floor behind her and turned around as she gasped to see the goofy-looking mask the Devil was wearing.

She picked it up and shrugged her shoulders.

The Devil, who was hiding in the top corner of the sorting room sighed softly.

Suddenly, Spike sneezed.

"Gesundheit." The Devil said to Spike.

"Thanks." Spike said.

The Devil's eyes widen at what just happened.

Gracie turned around to see the Devil and Spike right there.

Poor Gracie screamed.

The Devil screamed as well.

Gracie screamed once more.

The Devil screamed one last time as well before coming out of his hiding spot.

"You're the-the-the. . ." Gracie said kind of shocked and surprised.

"The-the-the. . ." The Devil said mocking Gracie.

The Devil and Gracie looked at each other.

"THE DEVIL!" The Devil said with a snarl.

Gracie screamed and felt back in the post marking machine.

"That worked out nicely." The Devil said as if to think it wasn't going to work.

"Help! Help me! Somebody!" Gracie cried out for help.

"Spike, let's go. Our work here is finished." The Devil said.

The Devil began to walk towards the door.

Suddenly, Spike went up to him and bit his butt.

The Devil winced in pain.

"Help me! Please, help!" Gracie continued to cry out for help.

The Devil looked behind him to look at Spike.

"That is not a chew toy! Stop it, Spike! Get that out of your mouth! You have no idea where it's been!" The Devil said spinning around to get Spike off of him.

"Help!" Gracie shouted fearfully.

The whistle to the post marking machine blew.

The Devil groaned in frustration at what was going to happen next.

"Bleeding hearts of the world, unite!" The Devil said angrily and frustrated.

He grabbed Gracie's ankle and pulled her out of the pile of mail boxes and placed her on her feet.

"There! Give me that! Don't you know you shouldn't take things that don't belong to you? What's your problem? Are you some kind of wild animal?" The Devil asked angrily.

Gracie shook her head for a "No".

The Devil turned in the direction of the door and looked at Spike.

"Let's go." The Devil said to Spike.

They both started to walk to the door.

"Thanks for saving me." Gracie said happily with a smile on her face.

The Devil stopped in front of the door with his hands on the glass of the doors, which made a horrible screeching noise.

"Saving you? Is that what you think I was doing?" The Devil asked turning around to face Gracie.

Gracie nodded her head up and down for a "Yes".

The Devil raised on finger and waved it back and forth.

"Wrong-o. I merely noticed that you were improperly packaged, my dear. Hold still!" The Devil said with a tone like how a dad would use.

The Devil started to wrap the red wrapping paper around Gracie.

"Spike, pick out a bow." The Devil said to Spike.

The Devil continued to wrap Gracie in the red wrapping paper.

"Can I use your finger for a second?" The Devil asked Gracie curiously.

Gracie was wrapped up in the red wrapping paper with a golden ribbon tied at the top of her head so she wouldn't get out.

"Hello! Hello!" Gracie shouted out.

The Devil pulled tape off of his face and winced in pain.

"Ow." The Devil said walking out of the post office with Spike.

A little bit later, Arsenio Johnson was ready to go home, but had to see what was taking his daughter so long in the sorting room.

"Gracie?" Arsenio Johnson asked looking in the sorting room.

Until he saw Gracie all wrapped up in the red wrapping paper with the golden ribbon at the top.

"Dad! Daddy! Daddy!" Gracie said breaking through the wrapping paper.

Arsenio came over to help out of the wrapping paper.

"What the hey. . .? Honey. Gracie?" Arsenio asked confused like.

He got Gracie out of the wrapping paper and she had a "great news" look on her face.

"Dad! It was amazing!" Gracie said excitedly.

Arsenio Johnson began to become happy after seeing what Gracie was doing with the wrapping paper and realized what she was doing.

"You've been practicing your Christmas wrapping! I am so proud of you. Now, that's holiday." Arsenio Johnson said happily.

Gracie was going to tell him that she met the Devil, but her expression changed.

"Uh. . .oh." Gracie said sadly.

Arsenio took Gracie home with him to get the presents home.

Sweet little Gracie didn't know what to do.

In her head, bumtumbled a conflict or two.

"If the Devil was so bad, then why did he save me? Maybe he wasn't so bad."

Maybe.

Just maybe.
