The next evening, after dinner, Namjoon asks, "Would you like to go for a walk with me? It's a beautiful night tonight?"

You shyly look down and then back up, remembering the last walk with him. "Yes, I would like that." You both walk out the back door together, heading towards the same trail as before.

Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook follow, unaware that Namjoon wants to be alone with you. Before they catch up to you two, Namjoon takes your hand in his. You look up at him, surprised but smiling, and continue walking.

The trio sees you hold hands before entering the path. They know their company is not wanted, so they turn back around and head to the fire pit instead.

"Oh well, I guess that answers that," says Jungkook.

"Yup," Jimin says and sighs.

Taehyung puts a comforting arm on their shoulders and says, "I think she may be the one."

Jimin says, "Maybe he is confessing his feelings to her tonight." they turn back to the trail Namjoon and you had taken.

Tae says, "It's a beautiful night for a confession," and winks at them. They look up at the clear sky, bright with a full moon. Jimin looks back at the path you and Namjoon had taken. He knew how perfect that path was for walking with a lover at night. He grins, happy for his hyung.

Namjoon wanted to confess to you that night on the trail, but he chickened out. He was afraid you would reject him.

Under the thick canopy of trees, this path is very dark at night, allowing small moonlight glimmers to twinkle through like fireflies. The string of tiny lights, practically hidden, shimmers along the path's edge, carefully woven among bushes closer to the ground, setting a very romantic scene.

Instead of confessing, he figures his actions would speak better than his words, and he stops, still holding your hand. Gazing softly into your eyes, he smiles. You are under his spell as his face slowly comes closer to yours until your lips touch.

It was so romantic, and you could feel the energy between you build as he deepened the kiss. You responded in like manner, getting lost in the sensation. You both knew there was a connection linking you to each other, yet now was not the time to search it out. Now was the time to feel, and that you did.

The following days became routine, with Jin and Dani fishing in the early morning before most of the others were awake and then starting breakfast.

Hobi and Lill enjoy their free mornings snuggled quietly to each other before the twins are released for an hour of chaos, kisses, hugs, and laughter romping on their parent's bed.

Yoongi and Poppy are sleeping in, coming down only after breakfast.

Lill smiles at them, and seeing the love shining in their eyes makes her so happy. They both deserved such a love.

Jungkook spends his time before breakfast in the exercise room working out.

Jimin and Tae are playing video games in the rec room, still in their pj's.

You and Namjoon started running together every morning, returning in time for breakfast, and you both couldn't be happier.

One morning, you came back, and Lill and Dani noticed a few blades of grass caught in your ponytail. They looked at each other knowingly.

A couple of morning runs later, when you and Namjoon returned to the house, Tae grabbed the back of Namjoon's running shorts and said, "What's this?"

As he pulls on the drawstring, " Aren't these supposed to be in the front?" Before he can finish the word 'front,' he notices you and Namjoon blushing deeply.

He grins mischievously at Namjoon and says, "Never mind." He laughs as he goes out the back door.

Namjoon quickly kisses you and whispers, "Shower?" You grin, and both head upstairs.

Three and a half weeks of their five-week vacation have passed, and time seems to be going by so much faster in the time they have left before heading back to their busy lives at Bangtan Hope Music.

Poppy was able to finish the photo shoot with the members ahead of time and had everything already packed up. The crew would come for it after they had all left the lake house.

You and Namjoon are left at the house babysitting the twins the following week while everyone else is out.

Hobi and Lill have gone out on a day date. She is going to tell Hobi she is pregnant.

Jin, Dani, and the Maknae line decided to go into town. The Maknaes needed more snacks, and Jin and Dani loved going through the supermarket to plan meals. It had become their silly habit, even if they never bought anything.

Yoongi is spending the day out with Poppy and she is letting him drive Sugar. It wasn't long before he had her driving with the top down so he could watch her long, silky hair flowing over her shoulders as she sped along the road. 'God, I love this woman.'

He reaches over, rests his hand on her thigh, and watches her lips form a smile. He never noticed the car pick up speed as his hand slipped further up her thigh and under her skirt. A soft gasp escapes her lips. It wasn't long before they found a secluded place to park and made love in Sugar's back seat.

You and Namjoon are having fun watching the twins play outside. It is such a beautiful day to be outside with the girls. The sun is shining, and there is a slight breeze, enough to cool the sun's heat. Namjoon is recording the twins as they play, and you both sit on a blanket he spread on the grass, discussing favorite books.

The girls chase each other, laughing and shouting playfully, when Hunni runs too close to the tree line. You start to call them back, "Hunni, Hope, stop, wait for me!"

Just as you start to run to them with laughter, joining them in play while wrangling them away from the woods, two men jump out, snatch the girls up, and run off with them.

You start screaming and giving chase, yelling, "STOP, STOP!"

Namjoon catches up to you, and you shout, "We have to stop them!!" and speed past Namjoon. Stunned, he runs even faster.

You grab Hunni out of the closest man's arms, and while holding a crying Hunni, you spin-kick the other man, your foot connecting with his face. He dropped to the ground, but he was only temporarily stunned. The second man turns around and throws Hope at you, fearing he couldn't get away if he still had her. The plan was for two, not one.

Namjoon catches her before she could hit the ground and rolls with her cradled in his arms. He quickly jumps to his feet and asks, "Are you and Hunni alright?" You are gently patting Hunni's face as she cries.

Before you can answer, Namjoon, the man you had thought was unconscious, starts to move and tries to grab Hunni from you. Before Namjoon could even react, you quickly give her to him and start fighting the man. You match him blow for blow. Most of his misses, yours didn't.

He suddenly pulls a knife and starts slashing at you. He caught you across the neck and then down across your chest. Blood quickly starts appearing through your shirt. You body slam him to the ground causing the knife to land in the bushes several feet away. You keep your knee on his throat, cutting off his air supply till he passes out.

The twins are crying and screaming in terror in Namjoon's embrace. He is holding them tightly, keeping watch for the other man while you fight. He was so proud of how you could fight. He desperately tried to calm the twins while keeping them safe in case the other man returned. He didn't see the man pull a knife as he was trying to keep hold of the crying struggling twins.

You stand up after the man passes out. You glance again at the man on the ground before turning your attention to Namjoon and the girls. Seeing they are safe, your body starts to react to your injury, and then everything starts to go black, and you crumble to the ground.

Namjoon yells your name, kneeling beside you, trying to hold on to the crying twins.
