Konan gave Taki medicine, and water. It was a bit of a lengthy process, though. Since Taki was still unconscious, she had to force it down her throat. She didn't even know if unconscious was the right word. A slight coma was more like it. 

She undressed her, and put on a tank top, and short shorts. She knew those were comfortable clothes to be in, especially at night. 

She looked at Taki's shoulder's for a moment, and suddenly felt an uncomfortable aura come from this girl. She had surely been through something.

The next day, Konan took a shower, and got dressed in a blue robe. She put her Akatsuki cloak on over it. She fixed her hair, putting half of her hair into a sideways bun on the top of her head. She put her flower in her hair, and put her makeup on. 

She tidied up the room. She was planning on letting Taki just lay in bed for the day while she went on her daily duties.

As she opened the door to her room, she gasped slightly in surprise. All of the Akatsuki members were standing there. They obviously wanted to see Taki. Hidan stepped forward. "Hey, we want a peek at the new girl. Let us in?"

 Konan shook her head. "She's resting, and besides: The clothing she is wearing is not appropriate for you to see." Hidan smiled. "All the more reason to come in!" 

He was about to pass Konan when she hit him on the back of the head. "NO PEEKING!!" Hidan stepped back, along with the other Akatsuki members. "What the hell." He cursed under his breath.

Konan looked at them. They stared back. "Please?" They all pleaded with her. Well, at least the idiots of Akatsuki did. The others just rolled their eyes. 

Pein walked up. "It's time for me to see her, and assert her combat ability."

Konan sighed, nervousness entering her. It was that time already. "All right.. Just remember that she's in her night clothes. I don't think she would be very happy that you saw her in those. Tell me if she wakes up." 

She walked past them to make herself breakfast. "Hai." they said. They walked in, excited. They surrounded her bed, looking at her. The window was open, letting light in, shining on her face.

Her beauty was astounding. They watched her chest rise, and fall with every breath she took, peacefully. Silence filled the room. Even Kakuzu, who only cared for money, was awestruck. Itachi looked the other way, embarrassed. 

The fact that she was wearing her nightclothes, and that they were looking at her without her permission, it put Itachi in shame. Even so, he could not look away too long. He was only coming in because she could possibly be a new member.

Sasori "hmphed", and looked away as if he didn't care. "I suppose that she wouldn't be too much of a bother, even if she did stay." Deidara slapped him on the back, hard. "Danna, stop being such a stick in the mud and at least act a little excited!" "No," came the harsh answer.

Deidara turned to look at Tobi, who was silent. "What do you think, Tobi? Should we keep her?" Tobi laughed. "Yeah! Will she think Tobi is a good boy?" He began to talk to himself quietly. Sasori looked at Deidara. "So you found her? How?" Everyone went silent to hear Deidara.

"Actually Tobi and I were out looking for the Three Tails when we saw her floating down a stream, unconscious. We cleaned up the blood and brought her here, un."

They all looked back at Taki. She was still asleep, but she softly began to speak. Everyone was silent to hear her. "No.. no don't leave me Kazumi. I can't protect the kekkei genkai by myself.. No! Please! Don't take my uncle!" Taki cried silently in her sleep. Konan ran in, and went straight to Taki. "Everyone leave! Now!" 

Everyone went out of the room. Pain and the rest went to sit on the couch in the living room. Pain thought about what Taki said. "Protect her kekkei genkai by herself? By herself... she must be the only one left of her clan.. It sounded like her uncle was taken for her kekkei genkai.. is it powerful? I need to know..."

Hidan spoke up. "All this talk is hurting my head like hell. Let's wait until she has woken up to ask her questions.
