Concerned he takes your hand in his "What is it?"

"I'm currently in a relationship and he's the problem. I don't think there will be any mischievousness for me right now, other than plans for Dani and Jin's departure tomorrow."

 You try to laugh and it sounds fake even to your own ears. Tae frowns because he can see that the laughter doesn't reach your eyes.

He removes his arm from around your waist. "I, I didn't know you were seeing someone." 

You sadly look at him, "I have plans Taehyung." You look away then back and sigh "I just can't explain right now." You give him a hug and quickly head inside.

Tae picks up Tannie to stop him from following. Your sadness is overwhelming him and he snuggle his face into Tannie's soft fur as he walks away from the building.

 With his head down he is revisiting memories and wondering just what your plans are. They didn't sound like they included him.

 A few minutes later he hears running footsteps, hoping it's you coming back he turns with a smile on his face and it's Kooki.

 "Hey, Kook."

Jungkook smiles at Tae and pets Tannie and says "Hey, just thought I would come out and see how you are. We are about to start the rehearsal and they need to place the ring bearer pillow on Tannie."

Jungkook is picking up on Tae's mood and places his arm around his shoulder.

 "Hey um did you know the boyfriend has come with her?"

 Tae says "No I didn't, that sucks. I mean I'm happy for her."

Jungkook sees that Tae's eyes are getting glossy, trying to comfort him he says "Look, Hyung, I know how things were between you two but she must have moved on. She brought a boyfriend."

Tae breaks free of Jungkook's hold and says "Maybe she has moved on but I haven't" and walks off back to the building. 

Jungkook calls after him "I just don't  want to see you get hurt."

Jungkook watches Tae as he heads back inside. He releases a sigh and silently follows a short distance behind.

Once inside Taehyung sees you sitting at a table with a man who must be your boyfriend. You smile, stand and wave him over.

Reluctantly he starts over and forces a smile on his face. When he reaches the table you say "Kim Tae-Hyung I want to introduce you to Lee Kang-Dae."

Kang looks up from his chair not even bothering to greet Taehyung and says "So, I saw you holding and kissing my girl. Leave her alone or you'll find yourself in a fight you can't win."

Taken by surprise Taehyung says "Is that a threat?"

Kang replies "It's a promise. Touch her again and find out."

Tannie was following Tae and ran under the table to get to you. As he passed Kang he uses his foot and kicks Tannie away. With a little whimper Tannie rolls out from under the table. With all the noise no one heard him.

 Taehyung leans with both hands on the table facing Kang with a calm smile "Mr. Lee, I have 6 brothers and a whole ARMY behind me, bring it if you think you need to."

 Kang's eyes widen in surprise and what looked to Tae like fear, then as quickly as it appeared it is gone and Kang is back to smirking.

You say "Kang why are you being like this, Tae is my best friend. We grew up together." 

He says "That was when you were young a kid. You're a mature woman now, a trauma doctor at MY trauma center. Show more decorum than drooling over a past boyfriend."

 Taehyung starts to step towards Kang anger in his eyes when he sees you slightly shake your head so he backs down.

Missing this interaction between you and Tae, Kang looks at Tae to dismiss him "See you around and keep that rat away from me." he motions to Tannie as he sits beside Tae panting.

He turns his back on Taehyung and he pulls you back down into the chair blocking your view of Tae but you lean to one side of Kang and give Tae an I'm sorry look. Tae gives a quick finger heart to you before he turns away.

Kang takes a hold of your face, tightening his grip he turns your head towards him blocking out Tae. He runs his fingers down your cheek then begins kissing you pressing your lips hard against your teeth.

Tannie growled again and starts to go back under the table when Tae picks him up. 

Tannie yelps and snaps at him, "Hush Tan, I know he is a bad man" and he snuggles a kiss to Tannie's head then walks over to where the others were talking with Jin and Dani.

What no one noticed was that with his other hand Kang pinched and twisted your thigh till tears were brimming in your eyes.

He kept his mouth on yours to stifle your cry of pain. Then he lets go and kisses you gently 

 "You're mine sweetheart, don't forget that. You know how much I love and adore you."

 Then he smiles sweetly at you as he rest his arm on the back of your chair. Smiling he looks around the room as if you two were the happiest of couples.

You fight the tears, you won't give Kang the satisfaction of seeing you cry in front of your family.
