(I would've updated yesterday, but where I'm living is having horrible weather issues so I lost this chapter so I'm really angry at Mother Nature right now....anyway. I hope you enjoy this chapter of What Happened?!!)

~•~•~Before Teral came for help~•~•~

(Natsu's P.O.V)

This was the best night ever! I don't know what Aria put's in their food, but whatever it is, it really brings out the flavor! ESPECIALLY THE STEAKS!

"Nat-zu...it's so good but it hurts to eat."
Happy had his belly popped out full of food with the tail of a fish hanging out of his mouth. "I agree with Happy Flame Head. This food is amazing, but I don't think we should stuff ourselves to where we can't move." Gray flopped up holding his bare stomach with a yawn coming afterwards. "I think I'll go see if we have somewhere to sleep. I'm quite tired from all the excitement and eating." Erza followed in suite. "Agreed. But Adroath informed me that he has already rented a home for us on Oaken Lane, in the South Side." Erza picked up a tired Wendy from the pillow cushions who fell asleep hours ago.

"I knew I should of taken her to the house, but she insisted to wait for all of you!" Carla glared at the sleepy Wendy hanging over Erza's shoulder. "I don't mind holding her Carla. Besides she did eat quite much for someone her size." Erza chuckled at her comment.

I thought about Lucy at that moment. "Hey guys, do you know why Lucy didn't come to dinner? She ate very little this morning so I would think she would be hungry." I said glancing at my comrades. "Nat-zu~... If you really like her that much then go check on her and Teral! I heard that they went to a pond to watch a dance!" Happy replied going to Gray to be held. I blushed from Happy saying such things. "Geez Happy! It's just that with the nightmares and lack of sleep she's been going through, I think we should at least worry a little..." Of course I used sarcasm when saying the word 'little'. It's horrible how Luce can't sleep because of nightmares that can actually, physically hurt her without her knowing until she wakes up. At least I think until she wakes up...she never talked about her nightmares to us.

"Then use that nose of yours Natsu and go hang out with her while the rest of us goes to the South Side. We have a big day tomorrow so I better see you, Lucy and Teral in the morning fully awake!" Erza pointed at me with her 'glare'.
"D-Don't worry Erza... I'm not ready to be killed his yet.." Erza nodded in approval and left with the others going to the South Side.

I left minutes later with a full stomach. I reached to tighten my scarf until I realized that Lucy is still wearing it hiding her bruises. 'I hope you talk to me soon Luce. I don't want you holding this burden all by yourself...' I was interrupted by a loud screech. "LUCY-NEE!"

No...LUCY!!!

My pace was from walking turned into a dead sprint in the woods. I couldn't find her scent, but my heart for my friend was the only thing leading me to her. I heard the sound of air being cut in half followed by a blur of brown and white hitting my chest. "NATSU!!! PLEASE WE HAVE TO HURRY! I-IT'S LUCY-NEE AND SHE'S IN THE SKY WITH LIGHT SURROUNDING HER!" I quickly spoke before he could let out another breath. "TERAL INSTEAD OF TALKING TO ME TAKE ME TO HER!!!" I felt horrible for yelling at the little guy's face, but he seemed to not notice at all. Without a second, I was in the air with the fast exceed taking me to Lucy.

'Wait for me Luce...'

A light was shining when we arrived. "Is Lucy up there?" Teral nodded with with great speed in his head while looking up in the sky. My head shot up to the source, seeing the figure of a limp body in the air. "LUCY!!!" My first thought was to jump which I of course did, but was repelled by a barrier. "What the-" Teral shook with worried eyes. "It's no use Natsu! The barrier won't let anyone pass!" I grunted in frustration with time passing every second of whatever is happening to Lucy.

Again, I jumped but this time with my hand filled with fire. "Fire Dragon...Iron Fist!" My fist connected to the barrier with a striking sound, echoing in the distance. In the end the barrier put more magic into pushing me away from Lucy.
My hands were bruised from punching without the success of breaking this stupid barrier. Teral kept hitting his head against the barrier with tears forming in his eyes. I was breathing heavily with veins popping out of my arms with rage. "Natsu...we can't give-" the light dimmed away with Lucy slowly falling back down to us. I ran up to Luce with arms out gently grabbing her in a bridal position. Lucy was lighter than before almost like she lost all the weight on her!

But I'm not saying she was ever heavy!

"OI! LUCE WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU! ARE YOU OK?!" I noticed Lucy putting her hands in her ears like I made her deaf. "Natsu...shhh...to loud for my poor ears."
Lucy looked exhausted from whispering. I need answers before she loses consciousness!

"Luce...what happened?" I tried to keep my tone calm for her sake, but it's like her brain is thinking like a child!
"The pond... And ribbons of light..." Her eyes drifted closed into...

Please...not a nightmare...

"Come on Lucy! We have to take you to the others so Wendy can heal you! Please don't fall asleep Lucy!" To late Natsu...
"Natsu! I'll fly you and Lucy-nee to Oaken Lane! Let's just go now!" With Lucy in my arms, Teral flew us to our rented home.

•~•~•~•~•~Present Time•~•~•~•~•~•~

(Still Natsu's P.O.V)

The house was two-story with a glossy spruce door to show a welcoming feeling. Right now though, my heart was about to jump out of chest with a passed-out Lucy and worn-out Teral from flying. Without a second thought, I burst through the door with a kick and let out a yell for help for everyone to hear. "WENDY! PLEASE HELP!"

Sounds of fast footsteps were heard seconds later with Wendy in front of Gray, Erza, and the Exceeds on the second floor coming down the stairs. "Natsu! What happened?" I gently put Lucy on the couch while Teral and I explained the experience we both gone through. Erza and Gray glanced at each other in deep thought of the situation while Wendy scanned through Lucy's body checking injuries or anything off with her system. "Wendy...is Lucy-nee  alright?" Teral sniffed with the tears streaming down his furry face. I watched over Wendy seeing her silent for a couple moments.

Wendy smiled slightly showing good news. "I don't see anything wrong with Lucy-San. She must be asleep from the lack of exhaustion and sleep. I wouldn't worry about her. Maybe tomorrow we can ask Adroath to check up on Lucy-San if you like?" Wendy asked with her small smile.

The stress on my shoulders were lifted from the news. "Thank Mavis... We can ask the old man tomorrow if she's hurting or not. Until then, I don't see a reason for the old man to come yet." Everyone's expression relaxed from the good news and feeling of sleep coming their way.
"Alright everyone." Erza began, "Let's all go back to sleep and get rest. Natsu, do you mind staying with Lucy for tonight if a nightmare occurs?"

I shook my head, picking up Lucy to her room. Happy yawned. "I'll go to our room Nat-zu. Would you like to hang out Teral?" Teral turned to Happy. "Well...I trust Natsu to take care of Lucy-nee. So why not?" Happy and Teral flew up the stairs with the rest us who is walking back to their bedroom.

I opened the door to Lucy's room seeing a bed on the left side of the wall with her suitcase and bag full of books waiting to be unpacked. The right side of the wall had bookshelves with books about Aria and a door leading to the bathroom. On the back wall were drawers empty and ready to hold clothes. There were French doors leading to a balcony seeing the view of the South Side of Aria. The walls were cream colored and the sheets were white with gold trimming.

Softly, I put Lucy under the covers making sure she would be warm. Her expression was calm and serene without a hint of pain. Without realizing...I stroke her cold cheeks. "Geez Luce. Even with the heavy covers you're still cold."

Lucy didn't move a muscle.

'Maybe I could keep her warm if I lay with her...' I balanced my option to wether watch Lucy freeze or snuggle next to her but feel her wrath in the morning. A grin appeared on my face. "It'll be nice to see a Lucy Kick in the morning!"

I took off my vest leaving me in my white pants and tucked myself in the bed next to Lucy. I grabbed her waist to bring her closer to me. No longer was she shivering from the cold. "I'll see you in the morning...Luce." I shut my eyes letting me fall into my dreams next to Lucy.
