(Wendy's P.O.V)

Two days has passed ever since Natsu went to retrieve Lucy. There were times when I would take Adroath's place for him to rest while I meditate for Natsu to stay in his coma. At first it was hard to concentrate while using my magic to keep his body into sleeping until my magic itself falls asleep. It's now quite relaxing when I meditate with my magic flowing full of energy even though it's sleeping.

"Wendy...You need to stop now. You've almost been meditating for the entire day and Adroath has agreed to do it tonight for you to get sleep." Erza was behind me watching over Natsu while Gray was watching over Lucy-San with Teral. I hummed back to Erza making sure I don't lose concentration on my meditation. "I'll take that as a yes then Wendy. Either way you have been helping as much as you possibly can. Adroath will shortly be here so just hang in there." Again I hummed to Erza with my eyes still closed.

Minutes passed with nothing but he peaceful silence in the room. A gentle hand was placed on my shoulder. It was Adroath. "I shall continue here Wendy. Thank you for your help. I really did need to shut my eyes for awhile." His genuine smile was holding his wrinkled face showing the compassion. "Thank you Sir Adroath for letting me help you! This is increasing my magic strength and is giving me the time to just sit and daze off!" Adroath only nodded and sat where I was and closed his eyes to begin the spell again. I sighed from exhaustion. "You've pushed yourself to the limit Wendy! You must go and rest at once young lady!" Carla flew above me and started to guide me out of the room, until the sound of Gray yelling and running out of Lucy's room was seen.

"SHE NEEDS MEDICAL AID!" Forgetting my tiredness, I ran into Lucy's room seeing her shoulder badly cut from what seems to be a sword, but without her crying out for help or the tears.  Bruises and broken bones were now shown on her body still without having the slightest feeling from her injuries. "What's going on Wendy?! She hasn't done this at all!" Gray and I were shocked and scared for Lucy-San not reacting to any of her injuries. I was at her side a second later with my hands out beginning to heal the wounds.

"Go get bandages now! And don't forget hot water!" Gray ran out to get my requirements. "She isn't dead is she...Wendy?" I forgot that Teral was here as well seeing his master covered with marks from a weapon. "Lucy-San is strong Teral. I know she won't go down without a fight." Teral just silently cried while holding a finger of Lucy's with his paws.

Erza yelled this time. "WENDY! NATSU NEEDS YOUR HEALING!" I panted with weariness. "Let me finish Lucy-San! I'm almost done-" Happy screamed with fear. "HE'S BEING COOKED ALIVE!" Happy's voice spoke this time. I got up and ran back to Natsu and started to heal without glancing at he injuries. "I'll try to ease some of the pain as well stitch the flesh back together..." I was sweating with Adroath trying to heal him as well while concentrating harder than ever.

Gray called to me. "Wendy Lucy's abdomen needs attention!" I screamed with frustration and ran back to Lucy's room healing while bandaging her stomach and making Gray take care of her shoulder. My magic was at the limit of me passing out. "Wendy! Natsu still needs help!" Happy's voice was far away having a struggle to hear the cries of help calling for me.

"WENDY IS JUST A CHILD! SHE NEEDS REST WHILE WE TAKE CARE OF THE OTHER TWO WITH DOCTOR'S FROM ARIA!" I can hear Carla telling everyone. "Carla..." I whispered hoping someone heard with me falling in the hallway with a thud.

"Rest my little helper... Thank you again for your help today." The person who I knew was Adroath silently spoke in my head. I lightly closed my eyes to sleep my problems away.

~~~~~~~Back to Natsu and Lucy~~~~

(Lucy's P.O.V)

That idiot, he'll just be in the way when I kill this imposter. "How are your injuries by the way?" I asked with sarcasm in my tone. "I should ask the same Lucy. Your stomach looks bloodied up as mine!" Natsu glanced down to my abdomen to see the injury. "Lucy did she do this? Your going to lose blood even more if you keep moving!"

"Tch.."

Like I care what happens to me. I just want to see that stupid grin of hers to disappear when I cut it off with my blade. "Lucy?" I began to stride closer to my enemy with the same eyes that she holds with the merciless sense in them.
"I won't let that stop me from killing her Natsu. Besides, what happens to her with also be inflicted onto me, but if your fighting then don't hold back!" Natsu tried to catch me, but failed to do so. "LUCY NO~!"

I pounced onto my prey with a battle cry. Dark Lucy stood in place with her swords gone. "ILLUMING DUSK!" Her attack went straight for me targeting my face, but I'm not going to run away. "LUCE JUMP OUT OF THE WAY!" I ignored Natsu's warning and let the attack hit me only to make my sword enter Dark Lucy's chest. The spell hit my right eye spreading the darkness into my skull and body.
I could no longer see... I heard the sound of coughing in front of me with specks of liquid hitting my face.

"LUUUCY!" The throbbing in my chest was gone as well with the spell in my head, but still left me blind. I let go of my sword falling onto my knees with my head hanging down. Warm hands wrapped around my shoulders gently picking me up and setting me into their arms. I knew it was Natsu. "H-how did you survive...that spell?" Dark Lucy sounded horrible with the sound of her spitting what I guess is her blood out of her mouth. "What spell even is that?" Natsu asked trying to hide and control his anger. "A spell I created to instantly kill the victim when shot in the brain, I guess I miscalculated and landed it into her only good eye..." A slight gasp was heard close to me, telling that Natsu was shocked not only from my near death experience, but also now that I'm completely blind. "It's alright Natsu... Besides, I can't even feel the pain!" I chuckled hoping it would lighten the mood. "...You idiot. When we leave I hope this won't effect your eyesight." I nodded and continued listening.

"Lucy defeated you...so how do we leave?" Natsu sounded impatient and angry from my action, making a hint of guilt wash over me. "I'll let you free. But first, don't you want answers?" Before Natsu could reply I spoke. "How can I feel again? I don't want to be this emotionless person forever..." Dark Lucy sighed. "Just imagine it like an on and off switch. If you don't want it on then think of turning it off until you want to turn it back on. Simple...next question?" I zoned myself out to create my switch while I let Natsu do the talking.

(Natsu's P.O.V)

"How come when Lucy attacked she would get the same injuries like you, but when you attacked you wouldn't have the same injury like her?" That's been itching my brain for awhile. Dark Lucy was using a sword as a cane while holding her chest with the weird blood coming out of her, but she was actually quite calm about her situation. "It's simple really... Lucy and I are the same as one person. The only reason why I wasn't hurt was because I can make it that way. In reality, if we both hurt each other then we both will have the same injuries."

Same as one person?

"What do you mean when you and Luce are the same as 'one' person?" Another question that has been bothering in my head. "All I can say is that Lucy and I are the same. We were both tied together until someone locked me away with Lucy throwing away the key, until now..." So someone let her free? "Who let you free from your prison?" Dark Lucy didn't reply. "Well? Who let you free?" Dark Lucy stood and started to limp away.
"I can't answer that question. The one who did free me made me vow to not tell Lucy or anyone else that is involved with her."

The ground started to shake making ruined houses fall with the sky turning black. "GAH! WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?" I faced to see Dark Lucy still walking away from us. "You're leaving...Never come back or else this will be your prison forever...like me..." The floor fell with only the darkness showing the ground. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN? IS THIS YOUR PRISON?!"

Before I could hear her, I fell with Lucy in my arms to find us falling into the Abyss. 'She's a prisoner...that's actually sad for someone even like her...' My plan was to make sure Lucy doesn't hit the bottom no matter what. "Hang on Lucy!" I tightened my grip to secure her.
"I'm not going to lose you again!
I promise!"

My back meet the ground of the Abyss with a splitting crack made from it. The air was pushed out of my lungs from the impact with my neck snapping my head down to the ground. I moaned from the pain, but was still holding Lucy firmly in place. "L-Luce...are you alright?" I felt Lucy move and picked her head up.
"N-Natsu...where a-are we? And w-why can't I-I see?!" Lucy no longer had a monotone voice and sounded back to normal.

"It's okay Lucy. We're in the Abyss so we can go back to our physical bodies." Lucy was shaking again from the fear she sealed away since the beginning of her battle. "B-But Natsu... I can't e-even see y-you. What happened?" She doesn't remember what happened after all that conflict?! Geez...

"Lucy...you sealed your emotions and fought the Dark Lucy. You won, but you were struck by a spell in your right eye and now...can no longer see..." I was holding onto Lucy's arm so we wouldn't wonder off separating each other.
"W-was I hit i-in my chest a-and
s-s-stomach?"

I sighed ripping the bottom part of my vest to stop her bleeding. "No you weren't hurt, but what ever you did to her was also done to you." Lucy was silent until I was finished wrapping her major wounds. I felt her pushing herself up...or at least trying to pull us up. "It h-hurts, but I'll s-survive until we find
E-Earthland."

I picked Lucy up in a bridal style so she wouldn't walk on her broken leg. "Just keep talking to me Lucy. I missed you while you were asleep..." I started to walk in one direction still having a small conversation with Luce. "Oi, Luce?" Lucy picked her eye open. "Y-yes Natsu?"

"I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. For everything you've gone through alone. I promised that I would protect you, but I just keep screwing up no matter what!" Lucy giggled at my apology. "Hey! If you don't want to accept it then-" Lucy put her finger over my mouth. "Natsu...the thought of you and Fairy Tail always keeps me going. I know that you'll be there for me no matter where I am. That's why I fought for my sanity and spirit as long as I could hold. And here you are taking me home..." Lucy silently crept a smile a couple inches away from my face guessing that I was there. Lucy continued. "You may not always be there in time, but I know that you try your very hardest to get me back from the evil clutches of others. You and Fairy Tail truly are amazing."

I let her beautiful words sink into my soul and heart. 'You and Fairy Tail truly are amazing...don't forget yourself Lucy. You're our light in the dark..." I put her closer to my chest to make her warmer since she was still icy cold.

"I promise we'll get out of here together."
Lucy put her head against my chest for comfort on her neck.

"I believe in you, Natsu..."
