(Natsu's P.O.V)

   Lucy hasn't moved since yesterday. There were times when she would scream with blood appearing on her, but thanks to Wendy, Lucy would stop the painful cries and settle back to her peaceful state.

We were all in my room with me on the bed waiting for Adroath to arrive.
"Nat-zu...you'll bring Lu-shee back to us
right?" Happy sat next to me with his eyes filled with worry. "No need to worry Happy. I know that Natsu will succeed!" Teral jumped up on the bed to comfort him making me smile. "Is Adroath here yet?" I asked to Gray. "Erza and Adroath are almost here Flame Brain." Gray was leaning on the door with his hands in his pocket looking over the balcony. "Are you scared Natsu? I mean you are going to be in another realm without your...body."

   I haven't though about that. The only thing that does scare me is seeing Lucy with 'Her'. "Not really Wendy. I haven't even thought about that until you said it." Wendy squeaked and bowed. "I'm sorry Natsu! I hope I didn't worry you even more!" I waved it off with my hand showing it's not a big deal.

   The door opened loudly making Gray get shoved with the amount of force of the door. Erza entered with Adroath. "I apologize Gray, but now we should get started." Gray rubbed his bare back with an angry face, but was hiding it from Erza.

Adroath limped over. "How are you Adroath? That spell really worn you out huh?" Adroath only nodded to me and stood over me. "The only time I can give you is up to three days Natsu. If Wendy does aide me then then I can possibly give you four. Now this is a painful step Natsu...your spirit will be fighting my magic to stay in place of your physical body. What I need you to do Natsu is to try your hardest to restrain yourself. When I finally complete the spell, you will find yourself in the Abyss. You must find StarLight to go to Lucy. After you do, then you have to find a way out of Starlight and back into the Abyss to look your way back to EarthLand. I'm sorry that I can give you little time, but this is all I can do for you."

I nodded and lied down on the bed. "It's best to close your eyes Natsu. It is a painful spell... Are you ready?" I closed my eyes to show that I am. My gut felt horrible with this...'I have a bad feeling...' Adroath's palm was on my head and started to whisper the spell. Nothing happened for a moment...until my muscles began to burn. It felt like I was on fire then being put in a freezer until I'm back in the fire. Back and forth this pain pulsed through my entire body. My stomach suffered the feeling of many knives being plunged in it. The harder I tried to restrain myself, the harder it was to not fight back. "You have to control yourself Natsu... Do it for your friends...Do it for Lucy..." I sensed Adroath speaking to me in my head. He's right...my comrades are counting on me to bring back one of our own. I need to suck it up and let Adroath do his stupid spell!

My heart beat appeared to fade in my ears. The surrounding was darker the last time my eyes were open...Adroath did it.

My spirit is in the Abyss...

The Abyss was a space of nothing. It was very dark for me to see only inches away just to see...nothing. This is going to be harder than I thought. "Just use your heart to find her Natsu. You'll know if it's the right path..." Adroath...thanks Old Man.

I started to walk straight using my senses and heart like Adroath told me to. For the longest time I was just going on and on without stopping. I wonder how long I've been here...I was right. This is harder than I thought it would be.

(Lucy's P.O.V)

I have no reason to live. I'm stuck here with Her still playing her game, my body is shutting down on me, I'm losing my senses and emotions only to know fear and pain, and knowing that I'll die here or be here forever without telling Fairy Tail I'm sorry.

Rounds after rounds of this game it's up to the point that I just want it to end with Dark Me sticking her sword in my heart. I know that it's the easy way out of this nightmare. She did what she told she would do... I can no longer feel my own spirit. It feels like it's on the breaking point to where I will never return, but if that's another way out of this, then I don't mind.

I was lying on the street that leads to the Shopping Center, waiting for Her to come and have her give me my treat. The bell signals me that it's time for her to do her set of fun. My hour is up of having peace until She finishes her treatment. My friends ran away hours ago leaving me the bone of my rat that I hold onto...the only company I have to speak to.

"I don't understand..." It was a long time since I last spoke to my only rat friend that's already dead. "What d-did I do...to m-make them h-hate me?.." I imagined him speaking back to me, telling me the same thing my comrades told me.

"I k-know...I am a b-burden to th-them. But I j-just don't... want to b-believe that th-they would l-leave me to...be k-killed by my own s-self..."My friend replied back saying that Natsu wanted me to die. "You're r-right. I shouldn't...a-argue to you s-since you're my only f-f-friend..."

Her footsteps were near, but I couldn't move... "P-Please...d-don't leave me
f-friend..." I tightened my grip on my rat's head in my left palm...wanting to protect him from my torture. The presence was behind me sending chills all over me. "You're no longer trying Lucy... Maybe your pure soul isn't strong enough for the truth..." What's the point for talking back to Her. She's always right... So will she finally kill me? Will I finally be free from my cage? Her cackle frightened me, making me put myself in a ball. "Lucy...you're never leaving. Even if you try to kill yourself, only I can make that happen. So don't even think that I'll get rid of my toy just yet..."

No...this can't be true...

"Y-You're l-l-lying..." My only good eye was tearing up from her words. I was picked up from Her by my dirtied hair to meet her face. "Why would I lie with such good news? Or at least good news for me!" I was weeping with defeat. I'll never be able to leave when I'm in Her grasp. I'm nothing but a punching bag to her now.

Dark Lucy pulled out a different dagger than her other ones. This one was tiny, but had a arch at the end with the color green shining off the blade. "Wh-what is...t-that?" She brought the dagger near my right arm. "I wanted to test out my new poison. I want it to burn the flesh of humans creating immense pain on the victim...and I think you're perfect for it..." I shook my head.

"P-Please...d-d-don't..." Only She ignored me. She sliced the dagger in my arm pulling it downward to my wrist. The burning sensation was excruciating. My weeping turned it screaming and sobbing. "PLEASE!... STOP~!" Again ignored by Dark Lucy, She moved to my broken leg and was creating scratches from her dagger. Usually I wouldn't feel anything since my leg is broken, but the burning was growing making it even more agonizing for me. Finally...she moved to my left eye that was burned from her.
"NO!!! A-ANYWHERE BUT T-THERE!" She snickered and put the tip of the dagger on my burnt skin. "PLEASE~!!!"

The weapon was thrusted in my eye.

(Natsu's P.O.V)

I'M NOT GETTING ANYWHERE!!! I SWEAR IM GOING IN CIRCLES BECAUSE I PAST THE SAME DARK AREA BEFORE...oh wait... EVERYTHING'S THE SAME!!!

I need to find her now! I might already have little time left because of this stupid Abyss...I need to find Luce.
"Come on Luce...give me a sign!" My voice echoed in the oblivion making it go on infinitely. I sighed in frustration scratching my hair with my hands. 'Come on Lucy...You have to work with me here...'

I continued walking praying for anything that Lucy can give me. My time here is running out and I still haven't been able to find the StarLight Realm. The only thing I want is to protect Lucy from danger. I want to save my best friend...

"Natsu..."

Her voice...Lucy! "Lucy! Please show me where you are!" My hope was risen from hearing Luce. I guess that's what the Old Man meant when following my heart...

"Pain...hurts..."

Lucy was closer. I can almost smell her... "Come on Luce. Just keep talking to me..." For a long time I was gaining closer and closer until I felt it underneath me. I crouched to touch the invisible floor."Lucy!" Silence..."LUCY!!!" I yelled in the ground for her to hear me. I didn't expect a devastating scream to answer me...

"LEAVE ME ALONE!~!" Lucy is in pain! 'She's' with Luce! I stood up and pulled my fist up. "Hang on Lucy!" Pulling my fist down, I erupted my flames to make a greater force. "FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" My fist met the floor creating a crater in it. The cracks gave off a horrible smell... I acted my punch again and made a hole leading to StarLight.

I found you Luce...wait for me.
