(Natsu's P.O.V)

She's in pain. I keep watching her twitch in her sleep with sharp gasps for air. This isn't fair for her. What did she do to deserve this torment? For wanting to help Aria? To save EarthLand?

"Another nightmare. I hope Wendy doesn't get sick from using magic on Lucy-nee." Teral and the others surrounded Lucy's infirmary bed with worried eyes set on her. Happy gasped as if having an idea. "I know! Why not throw her a little party! She'll feel much better! Even though we're going to war tomorrow, it wouldn't be bad to just relax and have a good time right?" Happy excitedly asked with his tail swinging back and forth.

Erza's eyes brightened.

"That's a wonderful idea Happy. We can have it in the Dining Hall! We'll invite all of the soldiers and whip of some sweets! Oh! And have strawberry cake just for me!" Erza quickly grabbed ahold of Wendy and Gray and started to drag them out of the infirmary. "QUICKLY! WENDY YOU WILL BE HELPING ME WITH FOOD WHILE YOU, GRAY START SETTING UP THE TABLES!"

"WHY DO I HAVE TO DO THIS!?" Gray yelled to himself and Wendy. Happy and Carla exited the room while having beads of sweat behind their head. "You've done it now Tomcat." Carla scoffed while flying out of the room. Happy looked even more down. "Why did I even say that? Now Erza's gonna really tire us out tonight..." Happy sighed and followed Carla's path.

Teral chuckled at everyone's reaction. "It's nice to still see positive attitudes even with Lucy-nee unconscious. I wish to always see happy emotions!" I grinned and playfully pat Teral on his head. "When this is all over, you'll see Fairy Tail! And don't worry, you will always see cheerful people even though dark times come to the guild." Teral's smiled beamed even more with happiness.
"I can't wait then! I hope to be friends with all of them!"

Sterling's lips went upwards for a second before going back into a straight line. "I'm sure you will make many friends Little One. You are, after all the most friendliest cat here."

"Don't forget Happy." I shot back to him. Sterling nodded in agreement. "And Happy." Lucy twitched again with her fingers tapping the sheets of the mattress. We silently continued watching, waiting for Lucy to wake up.

(Lucy's P.O.V)

The dark room was gone. I was now in a field of grass with blood staining the appearance of everything there, including me. "Remember me, Lucy?" The person in front of me appeared with the same smug on her face.

The Dark Lucy.

"Where am I? What about your prison that your were sealed in?"

"Oh, That place? Well let's just say, that seal is slowly falling apart. I'm not entirely free yet, but I can now mess with your mind." It's bad enough three people are. Make that four now. "Well what do you want with me?" Dark Lucy glanced upwards with an expressionless face. "Don't kill him. Whatever you do, don't kill Zelroth."

My eyes widened from hearing her say this. Not even this dark me wants to kill Zelroth? "I wasn't going to." Dark Lucy crossed her arms. "I'm a part of you Lucy! I know what you exactly feel and I know you want to kill him!" My fists tightened in annoyance. "Everyone deserves a second chance, and that includes Zelroth. I can try to reason with him."

"No! Lucy you'll just be wasting your time. Just seal him away in the Midnight Realm so you can have a normal life. So you can be with Natsu." Wow, even she knows my crush for Natsu. "Okay one: Natsu is only my friend. And two: why are you and Seraphina pretty much begging me to seal Zelroth away in the Midnight Realm? What are you two hiding from me?"

Dark Lucy's face became panicked. "Forget about that alright! Just swear to me you will seal him away. Look, I may be evil, but I do care for you. You are me after all and... I just don't want you to be hurt from facing the truth." My curiosity grew after hearing her. "The truth? What truth?"

The atmosphere started to rumble and fall apart little by little. Dark Lucy sighed. "Well, looks like you're waking up! Promise me that you will seal Zelroth away. Alright?" Her face held innocence for once that I have never seen before. She almost reminded me of...me. "Promise me Lucy!"

The ground was falling around me, coming closer to where I was standing. "Alright I promise! But what's the truth?" Dark Lucy showed relief and turned the other cheek away from me. "It doesn't matter now. You'll be fine now."

"Wait! What's the truth~" I fell into the oblivion with Dark Lucy smiling down at me.

"Be brave, Lucy."

My eyes snapped open in the dark infirmary room. The windows showed the moonlight glistening in the room with its pure light. I sat myself up, trying to find anyone here to explain what happen.

But no one was here.

I sighed and stood on my feet and began walking out of the room. When I closed the door, I made my way to go find the second floor, until I saw a light out of the Dining Hall doors. "Shhh! I can hear
Lucy-nee's footsteps!" A small little voice whispered loudly on the other side of the door. "Well if Natsu didn't ruin the tables, then everything would be ready!"

"Don't blame me Droopy Eyes. It's your fault you started the fight!" A chair was heard scooting back. "You wanna go again Pyro?" Oh no. "Bring it Ice Freak!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Erza barked and a second later came a clashing sound of two heads. "You two will be quiet! If I have to babysit you idiots, then punishment will occur to both of you!"  Quietly opening the door, I peeked in to see Natsu and Gray on the floor with their heads steaming from the impact. Erza had a vicious face with glowing red eyes while Wendy, Carla, Stering, Happy, and many people who I guess are soldiers were sitting at a nearby table watching the incident. Teral began to fly to me.

"Oh! Surprise Lucy-San!" Wendy jumped out of her chair with the exceeds and Sterling coming over to me as well. "What's all of this?" I asked finally inside of the Dining Hall. "Well, Happy came up with the idea to throw you a party before tomorrow. So while you were sleeping, everyone had a part of making a little party for you! Are you happy Lucy-nee?" Teral asked with his eyes growing with happiness.

I glanced over to all of the faces that were waiting for my answer. Was I happy that did they did this for me? In fact, what did happiness even mean now? This bubbly feeling in my chest? My lips wanting to go upwards and just stay like that? Me wanting to give everyone a hug for their hard work for the food, tables, and patience even though I've been a total ass to them? Yes, this is happiness. I'm happy that they did this.

I now feel...human.

"You didn't have to do this for me. After the way I've been treating all of you. I have no reason to receive this from you. I just want to say, I'm sorry, everyone." My arms crossed over my chest in guilt. I hid my eyes with the bangs making it shadowed over. "Lucy." Natsu began, putting his hand on my shoulder. The warmth of his palm spread over my body, making chills go down spine. "This isn't your fault that you're like this. With all of the stress and curses, I wouldn't blame you to be on edge. But we will always love you no matter what. I will always protect my comrades, and that means you also Luce."

The burning tears escaped my eyes. I knew it was blood, but that didn't stop me from crying. This was tears of joy. I didn't feel the numbing that would make me want to be the emotionless person I am to become. I'm a living person that can feel. Not only am I the Light Goddess, I am a Mage for Fairy Tail. "The only thing you need to worry right now Lucy, is to make sure you don't wake up with a stomach ache after eating a lot of sweets!" Gray said while ruffling with my hair. Erza and Wendy also returned a smile to me with Happy and Carla doing the same. Teral flew into my chest giving me a hug. "We love you Lucy-nee! You will always be my other half!" The sound of cheering and clapping came from the many men and women applauding this moment. Until all the sounds faded to only hear one voice.

"Revenge...kill...destroy..." The voice. Please...not now. "Lucy, be brave. Don't listen to her. This voice, it only wants to manipulate your mind. Don't listen to her. This isn't you Lucy. You are a Fairy Tail Mage. You're friends are your strength. This voice, is your weakness. Don't let this voice control you. Be brave Lucy. Be brave."

Dark Lucy? Why are you helping me? "Luce? Are you alright?" I snapped back into reality with my nakamas and soldiers now holding worried faces. I genuinely smiled at them with my hands rubbing away the red tears. "I've never been so happier in my life. Let's get this party started!" Sterling rolled his eyes playfully and sat away while watching Natsu and Gray having a dance off with everyone else dancing together. Erza was eating her famous strawberry cake with Wendy also having a slice with her including some of the women eating some as well. The exceeds were playing around in the air except Carla, only watching them with her nose in the air.

I giggled to myself seeing everything so...normal.

At least we have one final hour of peace.

Please don't hate me guys. I've been super duper busy with school and I have a wax museum to do tomorrow and I'm going on a UIL trip Wednesday and AR trip Thursday.
