Team Natsu's Mission!)

(Normal P.O.V)

When Lucy awoke, it felt like she broke a fever. Her body was covered in sweat and was burning up. "Was that just a dream?" Lucy's dream came to her mind from remembering the smell of blood to the corpses and the burning feeling of the black veins.

"It was just a dream. Nothing more to it...but why did it feel so real?" She looked at her arms and didn't see any trace of the veins, just her sweaty arms. "I'm going crazy..." Lucy spoke out loud to convince herself. Lucy laid on her bed a moment until realizing something wet was on her chest. "Huh? That's strange, I don't remember-!" Lucy's voice stopped when she picked up the covers up to see her chest. "B-Blood!?"

There was a dark crimson red stain over her tank top that was still wet. Lucy jumped out of her bed looking down at herself. " How is this possible...did I cut myself?" Lucy picked her tank up to see if there was an injury while clearing the blood away. Lucy didn't even see a scratch on her. "The last thing I remember was..." The image of herself coughing in her dream came to mind. "No. That's impossible! Was I cursed? I...I need to calm down..." Lucy slowly breathing started to head for the bathroom. "I'll go to the library to see a book on curses. Until then I'll just go to guild and check on everyone." Lucy stripped and took a quick bath.

When Lucy was finished she threw her tank top away and walked to her dresser. Taking out her regular outfit with her white and blue heart-shaped shirt along with the gold trimmings and putting on her black leggings and brown boots. Lucy finished herself after putting on her sleeves and pigtails. Lucy grabbed her keys and whip securely putting them on her belt leaving her apartment and walking her normal route to Fairy Tail.

Lucy's mind wandered to her nightmare and this mornings incident. "If this is a curse, then I'm going to have to go to the library soon..." Lucy's heart lifted at the sight of the Fairy Tail guild. When Lucy opened the doors of the guild, a usual fight between Natsu and Gray was going off. Lucy while dodging chairs and tables, Lucy safely made it to her normal spot at the bar with Mira cleaning cups. Lucy saw Erza sitting next Wendy and Carla at a table talking to one another.

Lucy's eyes teared up when she saw everything was the same; normal.
Lucy quickly wiped the tears away when she saw Natsu running over to her. "OI! Luce, for awhile everyone thought you weren't coming to the guild today. I was going to check on you after I beat Gray to a pulp!" Natsu had his childish grin.
Lucy smiled at him with blushed cheeks. "Sorry I worried everyone. I just slept in by accident."

Natsu was about to reply until Gray grabbed his collar and threw him into the wall. Lucy walked away before she got caught up into the fight. Natsu grinned.
"You ready to lose once and for all Ice Freak?" Gray popped his knuckles."Ready to see you begging for mercy Flame Brain!" With that, another round of fighting continued against Natsu and Gray.

Lucy cupped her hands in her cheeks when she sat down at a table in deep thought. "Save them, Light Goddess..."
Lucy nearly fell over the bench when the voice,out of nowhere was heard. Lucy looked around seeing if anybody else heard the voice. "Lucy-San, are you all right?" Lucy glanced over to see Wendy eyeing her with worried eyes. "Wendy..." Lucy forced out a laugh to show she was all right. "I'm fine Wendy, just thinking about if I should go on a mission today." A voice erupted. "Not without us of course!" Lucy's partner shouted, with his small blue feline. "Aye!" Lucy turned and saw Natsu and Happy standing behind her with bruises and cuts on Natsu. "You just finished fighting?"

"Lucy-San, you've been sitting here for quite awhile." Lucy's eyes widened from shock. "What? It felt like I just sat down." Lucy forced out another laugh. "Wow time goes by fast, huh?" Natsu saw Lucy's awkwardness with curious eyes "Lucy... you okay?" Lucy snapped her head at Natsu. "I'm fine! Why wouldn't I be?"
Wendy shrugged at the Celestial Mage.
"No reason Lucy-San, we were just worried!"

Natsu decided to change the subject. "How about you go find us a mission Lucy?" Natsu eyed her and nodded his head over to the board full of missions. "Alright! I do need to pay rent!" Lucy got up and paced over to her choices of jobs. Lucy carefully scanned the papers. Minutes passed until one caught her eye, a town called Aria in dire help. Lucy picked it off the board and read the paper.

Lucy looked at the name of the city Aria, almost as if she knew such a place. Lucy suddenly heard two unknown voices. One was a male and the other was a female.

"Lady Seraphina, you must leave at once!" The man begged to the woman.
"I will not leave my people,Talon." She replied with a voice that gave Lucy courage. "But if they kill you, then the balance of light will be corrupted!" The man again begged for the lady to leave.
"Then the balance of darkness must be corrupted as well..." The woman hollered with a strong voice.
"Lady Seraphina...please, you must-"

"LUCY!!!" Lucy jumped when she heard a yelling Natsu and Happy on both of her sides. "You don't have to yell Natsu, Happy!" Natsu crossed his arms with a pouty face. "We called your name over and over, but SOMEONE was apparently daydreaming!" Lucy looked at the Fire Mage and Exceed. "Really? I'm sorry you guys. I didn't mean to."

Lucy glanced at the paper again. "Hey Natsu?" Natsu looked at Lucy again "Yea Luce..." Lucy handed the paper to Natsu "Would you like to do this mission?" Natsu excitedly took the paper without reading it. "Hey we can do any mission as long as I get to kick some butt!" Natsu said while jumping.  "Then do you mind if we join?" Natsu, Lucy and Happy turned to see Erza, Gray and Wendy who was holding Carla.

"Hey guys! Of course you can come! We are Team Natsu after all!" Lucy replied with a smile that she hasn't shown all day. Natsu glanced away with his arms crossed. "I don't know why Ice Princess has to come..." He mumbled under his breath loud enough for them to hear, mostly for Gray. "What was that Flame Brain?" Gray yelled butting heads with Natsu. "I said I don't know why YOU have to come!"

Lucy could see a fight coming...

"Wanna fight Flame Head?" Gray asked with his hands ready to ice-make. Natsu ignited his flames, begging for combat. "You know I'll take you down Ice Princess!" Before one of them landed a punch, Erza butted their heads together with a dark aura rising. "That's ENOUGH! Both of you!" Both of the two idiots had a swollen bruise forming. "Y-yes ma'm!.." They both replied with a wince of pain in their voices. "Honestly you two are children!" Carla said with her head held high. Erza's aura hasn't gone down yet. Lucy quickly spoke "Let's just do the mission Erza!" Hoping she saved the boys from death, Erza's aura disappeared a second later.

"Agreed. Lucy, go to Mira and get the mission stamped while I get my things ready with Wendy. YOU TWO IDIOTS BETTER NOT BE FIGHTING WHEN WE MEET AT THE STATION!!!" Natsu and Gray ran out of the guild to get their things.

~•Later that day•~

Everyone met at the train station to go to Aria. The only person they were waiting for was Lucy. "Has anyone realized Lucy-San has been down?" Wendy asked with concern for her friend.
"She probably didn't get enough sleep last night." Natsu said with his arms behind his head. "If she's not feeling well then she'll tell us when she's ready." Gray insisted. "I know Gray, but Lucy-San may not want to worry us." Erza put her hand on Wendy's head. "We'll ask her when she gets here Wendy."

Everyone waited until they saw Lucy come running to the station. "Hi guys! Sorry I'm a little late; I decided to stop at the library to research Aria and the history as well!" Erza walked up to Lucy. "Lucy, are you sure you're all right?" Lucy was shocked with the sudden concern on her friends. "Guys...please stop worrying about me. I'm fine and I promise you that nothing is wrong." Before anyone could ask anymore questions; Lucy quickly went into the train cart.

They look at each other worried for their friend. "She promised us that nothing's wrong. Plus when she's ready to talk we'll be there for her!" Exclaimed Natsu ending the discussion. Without another word, they quickly got on board after Natsu was thrown in by Gray.
