(Lucy's P.O.V)

I was aching for air from sprinting. No matter where I go or how much I've tried to get away, the darkness always finds a way to drag me into the eternal oblivion. "Lucy..." The voice called for me making the atmosphere of what seems to be a tunnel made of stone shake. "Lucy!.." The voice again called for me which made the walls fall apart. "LUCE!"

My body jerked awake from the yelling.
I was gasping for air heavily from...

from what?

"Are you okay Lucy-nee?" Teral was next to me, petting my arm like caring for a child. "You were movin' in your sleep Luce. Is it another unknown dream?" I just nodded and worked my way out of my comfy bed.

A lot has happened ever since completing the Second Trial. My arrival of my Goddess form blew Aria sky high and made the news spread around quickly. Today Aria is making a festival in the park for congratulating me in my trials. Of course I insisted to help, but Adroath and the rest of the thousands of people commanded me to sit back and let them take care of it. So that's what I've been doing.

"So what are we going to do today?"
I asked to the two boys. "Erza wanted us to go back to the library and search more things about the Light Goddess, but I say that we go to the park and help around for a bit." I thought for a moment to decide. "How about I go to the library and the rest of you go to the park. If I take one step near the entrance, I'll just get kicked out!" I chuckled at my little comment. "Not a bad plan Luce! I'll let you get dressed while I'll tell the others!"

Before I could correspond what Natsu meant, he quickly ran out of my room. I realized that I'm only in a tank top without any shorts and was only my in underwear. My face turned into a tomato.

"Hehehe! Lucy-nee you're turning red~!" My little exceed snickered to me. "Oh shut it you cute neko!" I was about to walk over to my suitcase until I noticed a neat stack of clothing. I went over to the drawer to see a beautiful white sundress folded up for me to wear it. On top of the dress was a note with cursive handwriting. I opened the letter to read it.

To our dear Light Goddess,

This dress was made by the finest cloth in all the land for your perfect night. I hope to see you wear it for the festival tonight! Your people are very glad to have you home Lady Lucy. I wish to keep this happiness alive until war comes upon the city. But enough about this war business! I hope to see you smile with the sundress blessed by everyone of your citizen's love for you. Thank you for bringing hope back to Aria.

I gently later the letter back down on the drawer. 'These people believe in me. For Seraphina's people I will keep their beloved city safe!' I picked up the sundress that was soft as silk but had a view of fine cotton.

Without waiting, I went into the bathroom and took my regularly shower. When I was finished, I put on my gift from Aria to see it end from my thighs.
'It reminds me about Seraphina's sundress!' I left my bathroom and found a pair of black flats. "Ready Teral?"

Teral, who was waiting patiently for me, nodded and flew into my shoulders.
"Are you excited about the festival
Lucy-nee? I heard that there will be lots of candy!" Teral spoke while I was walking down the stairs. "Well if we see some of the candy then we'll get you some! Deal?" His eyes exploded with glee. "It's a deal Lucy-nee! I promise you that I'll win you a prize!" I giggled when finally finding myself on the first floor.

"Good afternoon Lucy-San!" Wendy strolled over to me with Carla also in her arms. "Did I sleep in that late?" I put my hand behind my neck from embarrassment. "You didn't sleep in that late thankfully! Are you ready to go to the library?" I opened the entrance door with a smile. "Yep! Are the others at the park helping the folks?" Wendy walked out first and glanced back at me. "Yea. They decided that they want to do some 'heavy lifting' so that it could be finished by tonight." I rolled my eyes playfully. "Of course! Let's go Wendy so when we're finished we'll try and sneak in!" Teral and Carla made their wings appear to fly us to the library.

(Erza's P.O.V)

"Move that table over to the right! Not your right my right!" Gray and Natsu were getting on my nerves. We wanted to come so we can finish the festival earlier than Lucy expected. The only progress that has been doing well is when I beat sense into both of those idiots.

"OI! QUIT STEPPING ON MY TOES YOU STRIPPER!" Natsu dropped the picnic table to collide his head to Grays. "It's not my fault you're so damn slow you Pyro!" I saw their knuckles about to hit one another until a second later I was standing over them with one of my darkest glares. "Natsu...Gray....didn't we just discuss that you two will not fight in order to finish the festival?"

Seconds later the table was right where I wanted it. "Good job right...pal?" Natsu asked to Gray. "Of course buddy!" Both nervously laughed waiting for something to happen. "You two continue to put the tables together while I help stream the lights." I started to walk away before I turned back to them. "Also, if I see you two fighting then I'll make sure you both die from my blades. Got it!?" I continued on my way to the ladies that were on light duty.

"May I help you with the lights?" I asked politely to the two girls. One was short with hazelnut hair and had emerald eyes with freckles around her tanned cheeks, while the other was tall with black hair and baby blue eyes with a snowy skin tone. "Certainly! Thank you for the help miss!" The little one replied. "My name is Natalie by the way! And this is my sister Savannah!" The girl Savannah waved back with a small smile. "It's nice to meet you two. I'm Erza Scarlet, one of Lucy Heartfilia's comrades." Natalie gasped then started to jump wildly. "You know the Light Goddess!? Is she nice? Does she like drawing because I love drawing it's one of my favorite hobbies as well as my sister who is an amazing drawer since we draw together all the time!" Natalie had to stop for air from talking without breathing.

"Forgive my sister, but she's very excited to meet the savior of Aria! I on the other hand can actually wait until Lady Lucy is ready to show herself!" Savannah laughed from her sister blabbing how amazing to see a goddess and what it would be like to be best friends with her. "Both of you will see Lucy tonight. She's thrilled to meet with everyone of you." Savannah's face beamed with happiness. "I'm glad to hear that."

For the rest of the time, the three of us laughed, told stories about ourselves, the two watching me beat the life out of my two idiotic nakamas creating a bonded friendship.

(Lucy's P.O.V)

After a long wait we could finally go to the park! The exceeds, Wendy and I stayed put in the library reading while the sun began to set.

The four of us strolled slowly taking our time while we joked around. "It's very hard to fly Lucy-nee! I bet you couldn't last ten seconds in the air!" Teral was flying with Carla saying that it's so hard to fly if you didn't know what you were doing. "It can't be that hard Teral! I mean you have wings that you have the power to control! How bad can it be?" Wendy was snickering quietly when Teral and I were having our argument. "Pardon me Lucy, Teral. But I think we made it to the destination." Carla informed eyeing the entrance.

The paths were lighted by the magical orbs from the first night. Even if I still saw these a hundred times, I would still be astounded by such magic.

And I have this magic in me...

The sound of music was heard in my ears after minutes of walking through the path. "I think we made it Lucy-San!" The air was sweet from the food and music was very festive and wondrous.

As we made it to the festival, a loud applause was heard in the center where there was a fountain flowing greatly with the statue of the Light Goddess on top of its glory. Natsu, Erza, and Gray were in the front with smirks upon their faces.

"Hello Lady Lucy!" One woman shouted in the crowd "Lady Lucy please look over here!" A man next screamed for me to hear. "She's so beautiful momma!" A little boy said to his mother. Adroath came to me with his smile plastered on his face to never come off. "I'm happy to see you wearing our gift!" I laughed genuinely and smiled to everyone. Erza pulled two of the girls to me. "Lucy, meet Natalie and Savannah! I became friends with them while hanging lights into the trees." The brown hair girl, who was Natalie, hugged me with all the strength in her body while the black haired girl, who must be Savannah just watched with a smile to see her sister hug the life out of me.

Eventually Natalie and Savannah went back to the large crowd giggling from being very close to me. "Will you make a speech to your people Lady Lucy?" Adroath questioned placing his hand out to the audience. "What!? I-I don't know Adroath... What if I mess up?" The kind man chuckled from my question. "Dear child even the Light Goddess can fumble a few words. Please make a speech for these kind souls." The crowd soon was quiet only to be waiting for me to speak. I nervously scanned to see Natsu with his grin towards me. I know what he's saying to me,

''You're to good to mess this up Luce!"

I took a breath in...cleared my mind...and let all the words flow out of me.

"I know I will make mistakes in the future. I may forget things and won't remember without assistance from others. I will mess up and might not have the chance to fix it. But to be your Light Goddess is a gift I will always cherish forever! Not only am I a Fairy Tail Mage, but also a guardian to the Magic of Light! I will help to those who need my aid. I will stop the Dark Ones from ever harming anyone or anything. I will bring balance back to Magic of Light and Dark and will win this war for Aria and Fairy Tail!" I raised my hand and did the sign of Fairy Tail with my comrades following my lead. Soon all of Aria had their hands raised showing the sign of hope.
