* Four months later *

"Family night out anyone?" Cath suggested, taking a seat beside her wife as she rested her arm around the blonde's shoulders. She pressed a soft kiss into Jane's neck.

"If Cath and Jane stop with the PDA then I'm down, " Anne laughed softly, sat next to Cathy. They were dating, but not officially girlfriends again. Cathy had always wanted to take it slow from the beginning and this time, Anne vowed to go at her speed. Because she genuinely loved her.

"Sounds great, baby. Ask the kids if they want to come. Ooh, and Anna, ask Kat if she wants to," Jane smiled. Anna was four years older than Kat, but they were a item.

"Okay, I will," Anna nodded, sprinting up to the pink queen's room.

Jane let out a chuckle and looked up at her wife. Her hand subconsciously on her stomach again as she leant in to kiss her. "I love you,"

"I love you too," Cath giggled against the blonde's lips, pecking them again before turning her head to the kitchen.

"Edward? Mary? Here please, " She called, her hand cupped around her lips to project the sound.

"Coming Mama!" The door was pushed open by Mary, and she came rushing in to take a seat by her mother.

"Yes, Cath?" Edward slid into the room in his socks, flying across the tiles like a wakeboarder.

Another laugh left Jane's mouth at her son's antics.

"Cath wanted to know if you want to go out for a family meal, " She laid her eyes upon the young boy.

"Sounds good!" He giggled and ran over to his mother and stepmother, standing behind them and planted a kiss on both their cheeks.

"Ew!" Mary jumped up, running to the door and putting her shoes on.

"Mary, " Both women laughed as Jane turned around to hug Ed. Cath stood and went over to her daughter, also putting some heals on.

"I'll wait in the car for you, baby, " Cath blew the blonde a kiss and walked out the house as Anna ran downstairs with the pink-haired queen in her arms.

"Car, everyone, in, " Jane stood herself and got ready quickly, taking herself and her son to the vehicle. Anna started to walk to the group holding Kat in her arms,  but dropped her abruptly at the door; seconds after her phone pinged.

"Anna? What was that for?" She looked up at her girlfriend, confused and concerned.  "Is something bothering you?"

The Queen adorning a red crop top immediately rose her hand to the edge of her face, covering one of her already shut eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Kat, " She shook her head, "And I'm fine, I love you, " She whispered.

"Okay, that's good, " She smiled and nodded at the last bit. Kat was too nervous to say the L word yet, because of her past, but Anna understood, and waited for her to be ready. She then turned and headed to the car, Anna following but on her phone.

Text to Rieke:

Hey, can't wait to see you later, my girlfriend will be out with her mum tonight, after a family meal, so I'll call you when it's safe to come over x Love you

Anna sighed contently and got in besides Kat, turning her phone on silent as she did up her seatbelt.
