Chapter 1: The Capture Of The Thief

There has been many reports of weapons being stolen in Faltra City.

Random Citizen 1: The cases have been really lively now hasn't it?

Random Citizen 2: Yeah, I just wish the could capture the little bastard.

Random Shop Owner: H-HELP!!! That thief stole my weapons!!!

A child that ran out of a shop as the Citizens could only watch due to the child being very fast.

Random Citizen 1: There they go again. Where is the Mage Association or the knights when you need them...

The child escaped before the citizens eyes as all of then could just sigh.

Random Shop Owner: Damn you thief! I will get you for this!

Timeskip

The thief stopped in an alley as he took out the weapons from his back pocket.

Y/n: A dagger and a short sword...

He chuckled as he put it back into his back pocket.

Y/n: Not had, now all I have to do is-

Galluk: I finally found you! Thief!!

A group of Mages from the Mage Association surrounded the thief.

Y/n:...I didn't expect you guys to find this quickly...

Galluk: You have nowhere to go! Turn yourself in!

Y/n: Let me think about it...On second thought...

The thief ran onto the walls as he effortlessly got to the top of the buildings.

Galluk: Wh-What!?

Y/n: See ya! You mage wannabes

Galluk: Damn you!

Y/n walks off as Galluk orders his fellow mages to search for the thief.

On top off the buildings Y/n was having a blast. He did not expect Celestina to actually send out her mages to capture him this early on.

Y/n: I've become a popular around the city.

He jumped back down to ground level blending with the crowds.

Y/n: (mind) I'll need to kook fr a place to sleep for tonight...

The boy walked inside a building and slowly looked behind him to see if anyone was following him before he closed behind him.

Y/n: (whisper) Why am I so on edge today?

Mei: Welcome. I am Piece Of Mind inn's idol, Mei-chan

Y/n walked up to the cat like girl whereas he was still hiding his identity.

Y/n: I would like a room with a single bed-

Y/n froze as he slowly turned around, having his hand secretly on the dagger he stole.

Y/n sighed softly as he took his hand of the hilt of the dagger.

He moved out the way as the he and other 2 girls with collars around their neck walked to the counter.

Y/n: (mind) I thought my cover was blown for sec there...

Y/n turned around and walked away. As he was just a few feet away from the door he was stopped.

Rem: You there...

He turned around, but his hood still covered his face a little.

Shera: You know that person Rem?

Rem: No. I just have a bad feeling about him. Are you perhaps the thief?

Diablo: Thief?

Shera: Are you talking about that person who steals weapons and always gets away with it!?

Diablo: Who gave you permission to laugh in my presence.

Y/n stopped as he took of his hood that was covering his face.

Y/n: (mind) Those three I can pretty much easily handle, it's just...

Y/n was fixated on Diablo as he could sense tremendous Magic pouring out of him.

Shera: Won't we get a huge amount of money if we capture him then?

Diablo: Is he really worth much? He just looks like a child...

Mei: Um, can you guys not fight here...

Celestine: Stop right there!

Rem: Celes?

Galluk: Celes-sama! Let's detain him right now. Any further wasting time will-

Mei: Hey can you guys take this outside please?

Y/n raised his hands as almost everyone looked AF him surprised.

Y/n: Well I mean, if I tried to escape then you would probably capture me, am I right?

Diablo: Haha! Y-You certainly know your stuff don't you?

Galluk: Then I guess we can detain-

Galluk and the other mages walked over to Y/n as they took of his coat and the weapons he had on him

Celestine: You may release him...

Galluk and the mages stood still as they looked at Celestine shocked.

Galluk: Excise me Celes-sama!? We can't let this thief free. For all we know he would just steal again!

Celestine: Then I don't think he would be given himself up now, would he?

Shera: But what about all the weapons he stole?

Celestine: That he will pay in money of course since he does not have the weapons, or do you?

Y/n: No, those weapons are long gone. And so is the money...

Celestine: Then as the Head of the Mage Association I order you to get the money at the end of this week.

Y/n: Wait a sec! This week? Isn't that a bit too early?

Celestine: Considering your skill, You'll be a very capable adventurer...
