Here's How It Went

A little background info:

I've had soooo many dental issues already.
Filling after filling, 5 caps, 4 root canals (had to pay outta pocket 💸😭)

But the worst of all- when I was a kid I had a tooth pulled...
Who could possible think that not giving a child the proper pain meds was okay!?!? 😀

I was awake, they had to re-numb me, over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
Only once I started kicking my legs around 😀
(While my mother was in the room watching)

wtf!?
Children's dentist and doctors should be better!!!
😭

So that experience ruined me.
Left on going trauma 🥰

So my fear in needles, low pain tolerance and over all anxiety hates medical stuff...
And I've been to the dentist SO much 🥲🫠

(Also tooth abscess hurt and can very bad- very quickly. So definitely did those asap! 😳)

Anyways, let's get into today.

~~~~~
Basically the recap:
I just had mine today, Nov 21st, 2024
I couldn't eat for at least 8 hours before, so I was hangry. Then like an hour there.
(Ended up like 20 hours without food, i hated it. I got very hangry)
I was scared, confused, hungry, all while having to wait in the office for 4 hours 😵‍💫
(They were packed)
I finally got to the room, my anxiety was up.
But this is how it went- first X-ray, quick and simple.
(Also glad I didn't have to take my earrings out- personal reasons. Also idk how too💀)
Then a guy came in and talked for a bit about the stuff. Followed by the doc and two more nurses.
The worst part for me was the needle 🫣🥲
The guy tried and failed 3 times, I cried a bit- but managed very well!!!!
Then he finally got it on the 4th try!
I couldn't clench my fist hard, so the elbow didn't work, forearm- nah. Hand... didn't work the first time. Then it was finally done 😭🙏
Yeah my eyes were closed, tears ran, I whined.
But didn't scream or breakdown, or run away, or throw a chair at a nurse...
Totally didn't do that before 😅......👀
They leaned me back in the chair, strapped my arms down, put a oxygen mask on me, used a metal mouth opener, I heard the air suction thingy then- poof 💨
I was dreaming.
Then next thing I knew- I was suddenly awake, with a nurse telling me to please stop moving 😅
(Btw with all the patients waiting, there wasn't much time for talking, but the workers did well)
Also I did INCREDIBLY GREAT!!!!
Be proud of me 🥰🙌🌈❤️🫂
After I woke up, I got into a wheelchair, into the car, then went home!
Sleepy but didn't sleep in the car.
With my sloth plushy- Beans 🦥
At Home:
It was sore, obviously.
I hate the wet gauze (makes me gag 😭🥴)
I was confused and worried about what to do- worried I'd get something wrong.
But I mostly listened to my brother who's in the medical field. He has been a great help!!! 🥹💜
So I got antibiotics and I got ibuprofen to take and did.
(Also all 4 teeth were taken out- nothing serious going on with them)
But the most pain was when I took out the gauze to take my meds.
I wanted water so bad. But it hurt.
Also those needle holes are a bit sore still 🫤
But now- it's okay.
Been like 5 hours since I left the place.
So,
It's gonna be okay.
I promise you'll be okay ❤️
If you need medical help- PLEASE get it while you can.
"Prevention is better than cure."
So if you are having Wisdom Teeth Surgery or as I like to say- Wisdom Surgery 😂❤️
Don't worry, I'm sure it'll be okay.
My wisdom teeth didn't have any issues, but I needed to get them removed, sooner than later.
And I'm gonna try very hard to take care of my teeth now... because dental issues suck 😭
Take care of yourselves! ❤️‍🩹
~~~~~

Welp, that's my story!
Hope you enjoyed!

👋😊

(I can leave updates about how I heal up)

~~~~
I'm very proud of myself 🥰
And I know that SOOOOOOOO many others were so caring and loving, helping me feel better.
So, HUGE thank you to them!
🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
