Chapter 38
A/N: I'm publishing this one a little early, I'll be too busy for the next couple weeks. Graduation is soon, exams is soon, got so many things going on. Ugh. Fml
Anyway, lots of improvements here, added some funny dialogues here and there. Got a steamy Erlu kiss here. Yay!
Please enjoy?
The two girls stood outside of what appears to be the Fairy Tail guild. Its appearance looks different, like it was as if everyone decided to do a makeover and never told the girls about it. The change was the primitive theme of nature. But the girls assumed it to be their guild. After all, no one is stupid enough to create a fake Fairy Tail, whether it was for a prank or not. So, with a sense of relief that their guild was okay, regardless of the unusual makeover, they opened the door, and expected to be greeted by their friends.
But they did not expect the paradoxes of unfamiliarity when they opened the door. Everyone was here. Everyone was okay. But it was different. Too different. Something was clearly wrong.
"Um, Erza? Is it me or is everyone...acting weird?" Lucy whispered to Erza.
Erza hummed in response as she scanned the building. The key factor in the girls' confusion was how different their members acted. Jet and Droy acted as big shots and bullied a very timid Elfman. Cana surprisingly wore a dress and acted... proper. Gray wore layers and layers of clothes and was lusting after... Juvia?
She frowned at that. Gray had always showered a major disinterest in the rain girl...so what changed? Plus, Juvia's attire is also completely different. She seems more mature and...less annoying.
"Hey Erza. What's with the get-up?" A voice spoke up.
Erza and Lucy turned to see that both Warren and Max looked at them curiously, but not another second later...or a few moments later, the two boys started to scream bloody murder and ran out of the guild. "IT'S THE FAIRY HUNTER!"
In a split second, all the other members paused and turned their heads their way, fear clear in their eyes as they realized who was in the room. The noise that was present in the guild disappeared into thin air and all that was left was dread and fear.
The two girls did not dare to move, as they were completely astounded and confused about their friends' behavior. Lucy figured it was the effect of the Amina...hopefully. Hopefully this would wear off. Hopefully they would cease the act of acting so bizarre and weird like this.
"What's she doing here!?"
"And why is she next to her!?"
"How did she get so close!?"
"Why is she not doing anything!?"
"A trap! It has to be a trap!"
"Is this a test?! That damn bitch!"
Clamor of fear exploded, and an uncomfortable aura settled over the girls as they listened to the mutters of their friends. Why were they acting like a bad guy was in the room?
Then someone approached the two, and thankfully, it was a familiar face, Mira. But she had a nervous smile as she addressed Erza, like she was confused or unsure of something. "Erza, what are you doing?"
"I'm... standing here in front of you?" Erza frowned.
"You do realize that Lucy is right there...right?" Mira continued with a nervous smile as she pointed at a confused blonde.
Erza stared at the girl and wondered if this was another one of her evil pranks. "Is this a prank, Mira? Another one of your games? If this is about before, I apologize."
"No..." Mira started before she turned to Lucy. "That would be my question. Why is Lucy here?"
Erza and Lucy glanced at each other confusingly. The blonde turned back to Mira, but before she could say anything, a commanding voice echoed through the building, "What is all of this commotion!?" It was a voice that Lucy was all too familiar with.
Everyone paused with wide eyes as another figure stepped into the room from an adjacent room and came into view. The girls wished that they were dreaming...because there was no way there could be two Erzas...could there? Unless Erza had a secret twin sister that she never knew about, which is plausible.
Both Erzas stood still with dumbfounded look as they stared at each other. The other Erza wore skimpy revealing outfits and carried a large spear on her back. And her hair was neat bundled in a ponytail, so it wasn't hard for Lucy to distinguish who was who. But that's so not the point, why are their two Erzas?!
Skimpy Erza took a step closer and eyed the blonde girl before she gripped her spear and held it with two hands as she turned back to the armored Erza. "What is this? And how did she get here undetected? And who is she?"
Mira walked up to Skimpy Erza with uncertainty in her eyes as she looked at both Erzas. "I do not know."
Skimpy Erza frowned at the lack of answers. She glanced at the two uninvited guests who could very well be traps, a devilish illusion to make them drop their guard so the kingdom could finally lay waste to them. She glanced at her look-a-like, "Who are you?"
"I am Erza Scarlet. Who are you?" Erza answered with the same condescending tone that Skimpy Erza spoke with.
The skimpy redhead stared at the armored girl for a moment. A girl who looked like her, a girl with the same name as her, well, just the first name, this was unheard of. Did the military create some sort of biological weapon? She was doubtful though. Her strength and skills aren't easy to replicate anyway. She glanced towards the blonde next to armored redhead and observed her.
She was unarmed, no weapon in sight. Looked vulnerable. Too vulnerable. Her tattoos are gone, and her clothing is different, but this is Lucy Ashley, she was sure of it. All she could think of was that this was a trap. As if she would fall for a trap.
She raised her spear and lunged at the blonde and ignored her look-a-like, with the assumption that she was a fake, a poor replication of her strength. But she had never been so wrong in her life as she was kicked backwards by her angry look-a-like, who had fury in her eyes.
The kick had sent her across the room and slammed into the wall. Shocked, she sat up and glanced at the armored girl. The force of that kick, no way a person could muster that much power without magic. Then she realized that the armored redhead had two swords in her hands and stood in front of the blonde, almost as if she was protecting her. The armored girl then growled when she had her attention. "Don't you dare lay your hands on her."
Interesting. Skimpy Erza was curious. Where had those swords come from? She didn't see any swords on her look-a-like before. And she's protecting that blonde? Questions swirled in her mind as she stood up back and gripped her spear. She ignored the fear that started to fester in her guildmates in favor of taking down her mysterious look-a-like. She smirked before she jumped forward and her spear clashed against her look-a-like's swords.
It all happened so fast. One moment, Lucy was admiring how similar this mysterious redhead was to Erza, then both Erzas was fighting against each other. Then she was surrounded by her friends who all had weapons in their hands. They glared at her with hate, anger, and fear. But she could also sense some... disinclination as they surrounded her.
"...Why is she not attacking us?"
"She looks different too."
"...Where's her weapon?"
"It has to be a trap."
"I don't think Lucy's too...patient to do a trap like this."
"...Yeah."
The celestial mage remained silent as she listened to her friends talk amongst themselves in confusion, who debated and argued about the situation that they found themselves in. But their weapons never wavered.
Lucy could tell that they wanted to hurt her, but she doesn't know why. Weren't they friends? Why are they acting like this? Did Amina really mess them up this bad? She needed to say something to ease their fears, whatever fear that may be. But she never got a chance to say anything as she was suddenly tackled to the ground by someone
"Lucy!" The unknown tackler yelled.
Everyone paused, including the two Erzas. Everyone's attention was directed towards Lucy and the person who had tackled the blonde. Erza's eyes widened as she got a look at who had tackled her girlfriend.
Lucy laid on the ground as she recovered from the tackle that came out of nowhere. She looked up to see who had tackled her. She blinked couple of times, then rubbed her eyes in denial before staring at the girl above her. "Lisanna? You're...alive?"
The said person looked back with tears in her eyes and grinned widely. "It's been so long, Lucy!"
The celestial mage remained silent and continued to stare at Lisanna, dumbfounded, thinking that it was a cruel prank.
"L-Lisanna! You should stay away from her!" Gray stuttered as he hid behind a table while he held a spoon.
"Seriously Gray? A spoon?" Juvia sighed at him.
Gray looked at the spoon and dropped it and pick up a fork instead. "S-Stay away from her!" Juvia facepalmed.
Lisanna smiled at the two before she stood up and extended a hand to Lucy.
The blonde hesitantly took her hand, mostly because she didn't expect to ever see Lisanna ever again. Once on her feet, she spoke, "Are you really Lisanna?"
"Well, I sure hope so, didn't think I would ever see you again, Lucy."
It only took Lucy a few moments before jumping on Lisanna and hugged her. "It's really you!"
Erza stood in place and watched as her girlfriend and Lisanna hug each other. She couldn't help but wonder...how was Lisanna still alive? How did she get here? And why did it make her feel so jealous when Lisanna hugged Lucy? But in all seriousness, Lisanna is alive?!
Skimpy Erza managed to slip past Erza in a flash and grabbed Lisanna by the arm and pulled her away, away from Lucy's arms. She's not taking any chances as she raised her spear at the blonde defensively.
"Eh?" Lucy nervously blinked at the spear pointed at her face and glanced at the angry redhead. "Uh..." Not a situation she wants to be in. Especially when the face of her lover was at the other end of the spear.
But luckily for her, Lisanna pushed the spear to the side and grabbed the angry redhead's attention. "She's from my world. She friendly. She's my friend. Don't hurt her!"
At those words, the angry redhead stared at Lisanna with a contemplative expression. "Earthland? Hmm...that would make sense."
"Oh, she's from the other world?"
"So, we won't die?"
"So that's her counterpart?"
"She's prettier."
"And nicer it seems."
"Oh, thanks Mavis."
Murmurs of enquiries filled the room as Skimpy Erza lowered her spear to her side and eyed the blonde once again and decided to test her, since the Lucy she knows can be quite cunning. "What's your full name?"
"Huh? I'm Lucy Heartfilia." Lucy answered without a beat.
One second was all it took for her to process this information. There was no way that Lucy Ashley has any knowledge of that name. These mages came from Earthland, just like Lisanna said. "So, it would seem. I apologize for our rudeness earlier."
Lucy smiled, glad that the hostility quickly dispersed. "It's alright."
"I'm Erza Knightwalker." She paused for a moment and turned to Erza Scarlet for a moment, then turned back to Lucy. "Just call me Knightwalker." Best to avoid confusions.
"Alright."
Knightwalker stepped aside as numerous members surrounded both Erza and Lucy who had countless questions, eager to know more about the person that looked so much like Knightwalker and Ashely, their enemy. Bunch of curious little flies, aren't they?
After a few minutes...or 10 minutes, the two girls learned of Lucy's counterpart: Lucy Ashley. Also known as a Fairy Hunter for hunting down Fairy Tail, which is a dark guild, and had killed over half of their members This information terrified Lucy. She couldn't even imagine hurting the people she loved. She wondered why Ashley is doing all of this. Perhaps there's a reason?
Lisanna then pushed some members to the side so she could reach her blonde friend and smiled. "Hi Lucy! Can we catch up?"
"I would love that." Lucy grinned and grabbed Erza by the arm and all three girls situated themselves at a secluded area in the guild so they can hear each other.
Lisanna was the first to speak. "So. It's been two years. How are my siblings?" That was the one thing she thought about while she lived in this world. How were her siblings? Are they alright? Are they dating anyone? She misses them so much.
Both girls were silent, as they remembered the solemn visit that both Mira and Elfman made to Lisanna's grave. Lucy spoke up first, "They took it really hard after you 'died'. Elfman became fixated on becoming strong. Mira retired as a mage and became a barmaid..." She paused and looked around to find Mira, "She acts and looked just like the Mira here." She murmured before spotting her with Cana...huh?
Lucy blinked couple of times...then rubbed her eyes. Why were they kissing? She turned back to Lisanna with a questioning look. "Why are Mira and Cana kissing?"
Lisanna nervously chuckled at that. "Oh...well...it's been like that ever since I got here. They never left each other side, expect when they had other important things to do. It took me awhile to get used to it."
"...I see."
Erza smirked at this and felt the urge to make a plan to prank Mira with Cana when she gets back. "This will be interesting...Mira and Cana..." She turned to Lucy with an evil grin and stars in her eyes, "We should put them on a blind date together."
Lucy frowned at that, sure it sounded fun, but she was afraid it might make is worst. "I'm no matchmaker like Mira, but I rather not."
Erza pouted, clearly wanting to prank Mira back for her previous 'harmless' pranks in past. She suddenly realizes why that girl likes to play matchmaker all the time. Guess being behind a bar gets really boring over time.
"Anyway, how are you, Lucy?" Lisanna asked after a moment of silence between them.
Lucy turned back to Lisanna. "I'm good."
"You do seem a lot better since the last time I saw you." The short haired girl said. "Everything been great? No troubles?"
"Um... a fight between two guilds, a tower explosion. Uh... Laxus tried taking over the guild. Yeah, it's been very wild recently."
"Sounds like I missed out on a lot." Lisanna frowned. "Wished I was there to help out. But things worked out okay, right?"
"Laxus was kicked out of the guild." Erza cut in with venom in her voice. "If it was up to me, I would've shoved my sword up where sun don't shine." Though she was glad that her was no longer around to hurt her girlfriend, she rather have Laxus suffer the pain he caused Lucy. "He got let off too easy." She added with a growl as she crossed her arms.
"What's done is done." Lucy sighed at her.
"Master was too lenient, just because he was his grandson."
"Erza, just... let it go."
"Never."
Another soft sigh left the blonde's lips.
"Seems like you too are close as ever." Lisanna observed with a smile. "I missed the dynamic between you two."
Erza stared at the short haired girl before she smirked with an impulse to brag. "Heh, we got even closer than that... on multiple occasions." Then she was slapped on the arm by a flustered Lucy.
"Erza!"
"What? It's true." She grinned at her cute, flustered girlfriend.
"You two... are dating!?" Lisanna exclaimed with a squeal and a glint in her eyes. The two girls could see the resemblance between the sisters. They're definitely related. "You guys are too cute!"
"Wait, did I hear that someone is dating?" Another voice boomed from behind.
The three girls turned to see Levy behind them with a smirk.
"Levy?" Lucy spoke up, happy to see another familiar face.
Levy turned to Lucy curiously. "So...Lucy of Earthland. It seems that you know my counterpart. No matter. But I am more interested in who's dating." She smirked as she leaned towards Lisanna.
The short haired girl wrapped her arms around the two foreigners and grinned at the bluenette. "Aren't they adorable!?"
Levy blinked, stared at both Erza and Lucy back and forth before she grinned. "Oh? Wait till Knightwalker gets a load of this." She grinned evilly as she jogged over to where Knightwalker was.
The three girls stayed quiet as they watched Levy talk to Knightwalker and waited to see her reaction. Levy had a big grin on her face and shock washed over Knightwalker's face. But like Erza Scarlet, she quickly covered it up with a poker face once she regained her bearings.
"You two are so alike." Lucy commented and glanced at her redhead girlfriend with a smile.
Erza only crossed her arms. "There's one thing where we aren't alike."
"And that would be?"
"I have you." Erza smiled at her.
"I know I said this already but," Lisanna could hardly contain her squeal, "You two are too cute!"
Lucy had blushed at Erza's words. Ah, speaking of romance, a question popped up in her mind. "Say, since you've been here for two years, are you seeing anybody?" Erza stared at Lisanna, equally curious to know.
The white-haired girl smiled and answered. "Wendy. I don't know if you know her counterpart or not."
Of all the names that the two girls were expecting, they didn't expect it to be the name of their adoptive daughter. Most surely, she's talking about someone else? Maybe it's a nickname? For...Gwen?
"Um, you guys alright?" Lisanna said when her two friends tensed up at the mention of her girlfriend.
Lucy cleared her throat. "I'm sorry, can you repeat that again?"
"Uh...Wendy?"
Lucy glanced at her girlfriend with hint of shock in her eyes before she turned back to Lisanna. "So... where is she?"
Lisanna looked around the guild to look for her girlfriend. "Last time I checked; she was running an errand. I do not know if she is back or not." She turned back to her friends with a questioning look. "Why? Do you know Wendy...from Earthland?" She watched as her two friends glanced at each other, like they were unsure of what to make of this. Most likely, they do know a Wendy from Earthland. But why does it seem so awkward now? "You do know Wendy, don't you?"
The celestial mage sighed. "Yes well, we... sort of adopted Wendy as our daughter..." Seeing as this isn't her world, and this version of Wendy is her own person, she doesn't need to be protective... right? This was very awkward to say the least.
"Wait." Lisanna took several seconds to process Lucy's words. "Did you say adopt? Wendy is...your daughter?"
Both Lucy and Erza nodded.
She leaned back, shocked at the differences between this world and her original world. "Well then..."
After couple of awkward silence between the two, a new figure approached the three and wrapped its arms around Lisanna and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Hi sweety."
But Lisanna did not respond, as she was clearly afraid and hesitant as her two friends stared at her with wide eyes.
"Wendy?" Lucy muttered as she stared at a very mature version of Wendy hugged Lisanna from behind. And she's very developed. In more ways than one.
Wendy looked up "Lucy of Earthland." She then turned to Erza with a curious look in her eyes. "And Erza...who wears armors...interesting."
Lisanna chuckled nervously. "Yes...so Lucy, Erza. This is my girlfriend, Wendy."
"Yes... Nice to meet you." Lucy smiled nervously. Erza remained silent.
Mature Wendy raised an eyebrow at their awkward behavior and turned to Lisanna for some explanation. But Lisanna just shrugged it off, that it wasn't a big deal.
After a few moments of awkward silence between the four girls, Lucy decided to change the subject, since it felt too awkward for her, "Well...that aside, I am wondering how they know your situation?" She gestured to the guild members, who seems to already know that Lisanna's from another world.
Lisanna eagerly replied, happy with the change of subject. "Ah...well, after I was...deported to this world, they immediately knew that I was not their...Lisanna who had died before I arrived. So, they tried to help me get back to my world. During that time, I was telling them tales of Earthland. The land of magic, and my friends. I was surprised to hear that your counterpart was the enemy of this guild, so it was a little hard for me to believe...until she tried to kill me. So, when I had saw you, I immediately knew that it was you, from Earthland."
Lucy slowly nodded as she listened. "I see."
"So, 2 years in this world...have you been practicing your magic at all?" Erza asked.
"Oh! That reminds me...Erza, how can you use magic?" Lisanna asked as she ignored the question that was asked.
"Like usual...why?" Erza frowned a little, thinking that the answer should be obvious.
"How can you use magic?" Lisanna asked with a frown, a little more confused than Erza.
The redhead stared at Lisanna, like the answer should've been obvious... "Like I had always done it?"
Lisanna frowned and crossed her arms. "That's weird. I can't even use my own magic..."
"You can't use them?" Lucy wondered.
Lisanna shook her head a little. "Ever since I came here, I found out that I couldn't use my magic."
"That's weird...and Erza could use them?" Lucy mumbled
"What about you?" Erza turned to Lucy with a questioning look.
"I can use them." Lucy shook with certainty.
"Hmm? I haven't seen you use them." Erza pointed out.
"I can still sense my spirits through my keys." Lucy explained.
"Interesting. "
"THE FAIRY HUNTER IS FOLLOWING US!" Another loud voice pierced into the building as the guild's entrance was slammed and two men that left before had ran inside. Both Max and Warren had fear in their eyes.
Knightwalker was the first to respond, as if she knew what they were afraid of, and stalked up to Levy with a stern look in her eyes. "Do it."
Levy immediately complied, as if it was a drill, and ran to a machine on the other side of the building and started pressing buttons.
"Fairy Hunter?" Lucy spoke up. "Does that mean my counterpart is here?"
Knightwalker turned to see Lucy and Erza walking up to her with curious eyes. She kept a stoic posture and a blank expression as she remembered the information about her counterpart dating Lucy...which seemed too unreal. "Yes. We need to leave as soon as possible."
"Why not fight her?"
Knightwalker glared at Lucy for a moment. "We do not have the luxury to stay and fight. Ashley is strong and I rather not face her when this guild is in trouble. I simply can't protect and fight at the same time."
Lucy nodded in understanding. "Alright then...how are we going to escape? We just can't leave just like that."
Knightwalker then smirked. "Heh. Just you wait."
The two girls decided it was best to stay rooted in place as they observed and listened to the murmurs of the members, who spoke with fear and uncertainties. The noise of the machine that Levy had activated became louder and louder and the air began to vibrate. Soon, the gravity started to shift, and the members started to float.
Instinctively, when Erza could no longer feel the ground beneath her feet, her arms wrapped itself around Lucy, and tugged her close to her chest.
The air vibrated more violently, and a rumble could be distinguished and then a faint noise of a roar could be heard outside.
Then, the air shifted once again, and Erza felt like several of her organs were replaced in random places. Soon, the trembling air calmed down and the members fell back to the ground with several thuds.
Erza never relinquished her hold on the girl in her arms as she fell on her back. This is nice. She thought, as she loved the warm embrace of her girlfriend.
Few seconds later, Lucy moved her head with a grimace, most likely due to the tight embrace of armor around her that's poking into her skin. "Erza, you can let go now."
Erza pouted, one day, she'll get an entire day, no, a week of her and Lucy just cuddling, and kissing, and-
"Erza." Lucy interrupted her train of thoughts.
"Right, sorry." She reluctantly moved her arms and released her beautiful goddess.
The two girls got back to their feet and looked around for the state of the situation. Other members were groggily getting back to their feet and retained their bearings. Seems like they know the drill but aren't used to this.
"What just happened?" Lucy asked no one in particular, interested in how the air shifted so violently like that, and she wanted to know the logic on how she floated. That was cool.
Knightwalker approached them with steady feet. "We had been transported to a different location to escape the Fairy Hunter."
"SHIT! IT'S THE FAIRY HUNTER!" Warren and Max yelled in unison, who garnered the attention of everyone in the guild, as they saw Lucy and proceeded to run out of the guild again... until they were knocked out cold by an annoyed Juvia.
"Damn amateurs." Juvia muttered with a tick on her forehead.
"Great job, Juvia-chan." Gray said in a childish tone and with hearts in his eyes.
"Hmph." Juvia ignored Gray and walked away.
Lucy watched as Gray followed Juvia like a stalker.
"If only Juvia decided to go after Gray and not you. Then it would be perfect." Erza commented, as she wished that she had less competition with her girlfriend, even though they were already dating...she just didn't like how Juvia was trying to go after someone who was already taken.
Lucy lightly chuckled at that. "She can be...annoying. But she means no harm. Right?"
"...I doubt that." Erza frowned and remembered how Juvia had lit a tree on fire that 'coincidently' stood next to her. She swore she had done that on purpose. Damn water mage. "She's crazy."
Knightwalker observed the interaction between the two foreigners as she recalled what Levy had gossiped to her. Were they really dating? They aren't doing anything couple related things. She needs to know! She walked up to them with narrowed eyes, "Are you two really...an item?" She asked as she garnered both of their attention.
Lucy was about to respond, but she was caught off guard when her girlfriend grabbed her by the chin and pulled Lucy's face to the side for better access. Erza leaned in and captured the young girl's lips in a very passionate manner. She forced her tongue into the younger girl's mouth. The blonde started to melt into the kiss and unconsciously moaned when Erza grabbed her breast.
After several moments, the blonde remembered where she was and shoved Erza away with a large reddening blush on her cheeks. "T-That wasn't appropriate!" She exclaimed in embarrassment as eyes were on them.
"Heh." Erza could care less about the onlookers. All she cared about is the blonde goddess. "You liked it though."
Lucy couldn't deny it. She just couldn't. She blushed harder and turned her head to the side in an attempt to give the redhead the cold shoulder.
Knightwalker cleared her throat. Not a situation she wants to see again. Like fate was trying to mock her or something. Fate truly is cruel, isn't it?
Erza turned back to her counterpart; she had almost forgotten about her look-a-like. She narrowed her eyes when she noticed that she was staring at her girlfriend. Protective instinct washed over her as she pulled Lucy close to her and wrapped her arms around her waist. "She's mine." She added and kissed the blonde on the cheek.
Knightwalker got the message loud and clear. She isn't the type to go after anyone who's already taken anyway. She has other issues to deal with. "Whatever." She looked around the guild and visually inspected each of the members to make sure everyone was not hurt. After she made sure that everything is in order, she turned back to the two foreigners, "Now that the danger is out of the way, why are you here and how did you get here?"
"The sky was falling." Erza said with a straight face.
Lucy facepalmed. "I regret watching that movie with you."
"How can a sky fall?" Knightwalker asked with a thoughtful expression.
"They fall in shapes and aliens absorb your inn-ow!" Erza rubbed the back of her head, where Lucy had smacked her. "What was that for?"
Lucy ignored her girlfriend and face Knightwalker. "Ignore her, we were sucked into this world by an Amina, along with our friends."
"Killjoy..." Erza whispered before she spoke up louder. "We were told our friends were in danger and that we needed to save them."
"Sounds like the King is starting his project." Knightwalker frowned.
"What you mean?" Erza asked.
"The King's objective was to steal magical energy from your world. Magic in this world is definite and very limited. So, he wanted more magic for his kingdom and such." Knightwalker explained.
"How do you know all of that?" Lucy asked.
"I used to be a captain of his army. But I soon betrayed him and deserted when I realized his true objective and his goal."
"So...you know my counterpart then?" Lucy asked.
Knightwalker nodded. "If I didn't know any better, I would've killed you on the spot for looking just like her." She glanced at the armored redhead. "You can thank your...girlfriend for that."
Erza glared at her as she hugged her smaller girlfriend protectively. "You better not lay your hands on her."
Sometimes, Erza's actions can be a little embarrassing, but it was nice to know how much she loved her. Lucy smiled at the arms around her waist. She turned to Knightwalker, "Is there anything else that we should know?"
"If your friends were absorbed by the Amina, most likely, they were turned into lacrima." Knightwalker answered
"What?!"
"They should be somewhere in the Royal Capital, where the King can keep watch."
Lucy and Erza glanced at each other, an unspoken agreement between them as they nodded.
"Great. Can you tell us the way then?" Erza said. Sporadic gasps across the guild were heard after they heard her statement.
"It's too dangerous!"
"You'll die!"
Murmurs of defeat and negative outcomes ringed in Lucy and Erza's ears. But they did not listen. They didn't care how dangerous it was. They need to save their friends.
"Tell. Us. The. Way." Erza spoke again in her sternest voice, which caused the members to tremble in fear.
Knightwalker resigned with a sighed. "I'll take you there then."
"Really!?" Lucy perked up with a wide smile.
"We leave in 10. Get ready." Knightwalker ordered before she walked away into another room. Probably preparing herself.
"Erza! ...and Lucy."
The girls turned to see Mira and Cana walking their way while they held hands. It was a cute sight to see. Lucy smiled. Maybe Erza was right, maybe she should try and get Mira and Cana together. They look so cute together. "You two are so cute together."
Both Cana and Mira smiled at Lucy. They felt at ease that Lucy was kind and nice to talk to. "And I heard that you and Erza are an item as well." Mira said with a grin.
Lucy nodded. "Yep."
"I heard that Knightwalker and Ashley had a history in the past. I don't know if it is romantically or just rivalry. She wouldn't talk about it...at all. Saying that it was a mistake to be at the Royal Capital." Cana explained with such politeness that Lucy and Erza were flabbergasted
"Hmm." Erza wondered what happened between them.
Then Lisanna and her girlfriend, Wendy, walked up to them with their arms linked together. "So, you are going to save your friends?" She asked.
"Yes. And they are your friends too. I would ask you to come, but you can't use magic...so.... you can just stay here." Erza said as she tried to not look at their linked arms.
Lisanna nodded in understanding. "I understand. I wish I could be useful and such."
Lucy smiled and gave both Wendy and Lisanna a hug. "It's fine. I would feel better if you stay here for the time being."
"Alright. We leave now!" Knightwalker ordered as she walked into the room, fully armed and combat ready! She moved toward the door and expected Lucy and Erza to follow her without delay or slowing her down.
"See you guys later." Lucy waved as she left the guild with Erza and Knightwalker.
Their destination? The Royal Capital.
