A/N- No major changes in this chapter, but I did fix the grammar, and added/deleted some details.

Lucy laid on the ground, cradled by Erzas toned arms to be kept comfortable. The knight didnt know what to do other than stay by her side. The poison colored Lucys perfect pale skin purple as she began to break out in a sweat. All Erza could think was how she never wanted to see her princess in this kind of pain, and she doesnt want to lose her. She could only hope she can be saved in time.

Now, she needed to put her faith in Natsu to go and rescue the little girl, who just happens to be another dragon slayer. Whos next? A god slayer?

This should never happen and it's all her fault. Erza shouldve been the one to protect her. She felt hopeless and weak. Just why did she allow Lucy to convince her to come with her on this mission? Damn her beautiful eyes and that determined look.

Hibiki stood near the sidelines, watching Erza pouring all of her affection into the blonde. It was clear to him how much Erza loved the blonde, and he knew that he tried to get in the way, the redhead might not let him live. But he felt envious for them. He wished he would find something similar to that kind of love in the future.

Hibiki fired up his archive and started looking for everybodys position. It was better than thinking about his lack of success in finding a girlfriend.

Lucys body started shaking, her entire body started to break out in sweat, and the purple poison covered more of her skin, indicating how much time she had left. Erza would go and fetch the girl herself, but could never leave her alone in this kind of state. Not even in Hibikis care.

"I found Natsu." Hibiki announced.

With a tang of hope, Erza turned to Hibiki, who was still staring at this archive. "Natsu got Wendy and Happy. He's on their way back."

Erza never felt so relieved before. When it really matters, Natsu can be trusted. When will they arrive?

Less than 10 minutes. Hibiki estimated.

Erza wondered if Lucy would survive before the 10 minutes was up.. Hang in there Lucy. Youll be alright, theyre on their way.

The only response she got was the quiet whimpers of the young girl in agony.

Not too long after, Natsu appeared from the depth of the bushes, with Wendy unconscious in his arms, along with the two cats as well.

"We made it!" Natsu grinned with a big grin before frowning. "What's the deal?! The map in my head suddenly-"

"Shut up Natsu. We need Wendy's help." Erza yelled, more worried about the blonde in her arms.

Natsu quickly set the unconscious girl and the cats down, and faced the little girl. Then he started to shake the girl albeit a little too violent. "Wake up, Wendy!"

"Oi, Natsu. You're doing it wrong!" Erza shoved the boy to the side, and started doing the same thing he was doing but a bit more violent with a scary face. "Wendy! Save Lucy! Wake up!

Carla regains her consciousness and does not appreciate the sight of Erza violently shaking Wendy Careful! Carla yelled with concern for Wendy.

Natsu was this close to saying something about what he was seeing, but that was before Wendy opened her eyes.

The first response of the little girl was similar to a child waking up from a nightmare. Wendy quickly sat up and crawled backwards, tears welled in her eyes. "Kyaaa! I'm sorry! I'm-"

As much as Erza wanted to console the little girl, Lucys life takes priority. "Wendy, I don't know what happened. But I want you to heal Lucy. She was poisoned by a snake. Please heal her."

"Poisoned?" Wendy visibly calmed down as she stared at Erza questionably.

Erza grabs Wendy by the shoulder, hoping that the little girl would help. "Please, heal her."

Wendy shifted her sight onto the figure laying on the ground, visibly in pain. She wasnt moving, and the area where she was bit, looked really bad.

"Please, save Lucy!" Natsu bowed, which Erza thought was quite uncharacteristic of him.

"Save her!" Erza said sternly, not planning on giving up as long Lucy is still breathing.

Wendy took a second to take in their request of what they wanted from her. "O-Of course! Yes! I'll do it!"

Erza hesitantly stepped away from the blonde to allow Wendy to do her magic. She watched as the affected area shimmered under the beautiful spell casted by the girl. The poison began to shrink until it faded away, and Lucys skin was back to normal.

Once all poison was removed and completely out Lucy's system, Wendy retracted her hands and took a deep breath. "All done! The poison in Ms. Lucy's body is gone."

Erza rushed to the blondes side, but was almost afraid to touch her. Lucys breathing went back to normal, and it seems like shes sleeping peacefully now. This gave the redhead a much needed relief. Thank Mavis sighed Erza.

When she wakes up, shell feel a little weak and diz-... Wendy trailed off when Erza carefully pulled Lucy into her arms and softly kissed her on the forehead. Her face blushed at the sight and covered her eyes, Eeeeeek! and timidly peeked a little between her fingers. "U-Um...what...?"

Natsu stepped in next to Wendy and grinned at her, seeing how flustered she was acting. "That's Erza's girlfriend and she can be scary when it comes to her girlfriend."

Upon hearing that fact, she looked at them under a new light. Something to admire them for. The genuine spark between Erza and Lucy was unique and powerful enough for Wendy to understand how much they both need each other.

"Thank you, Wendy." Erza whispered, her eyes never leaving the sight of the blonde in her arms.

Wendy smiled at the sight, and wished that she could find something similar to what they have.

Carla stepped forward with a frown and arms crossed. "Now, listen here. Please don't let Wendy use any more sky magic. As you can see, it uses up a lot of her magic power"

"I'm fine! More importantly, I-"

Wendy was interrupted with a blinding white light in the distance with a faint roar, shooting into the sky along with multiple small black pillars.

All eyes are on the strange light, wondering what to make of it. It was beautiful, but at the same time dangerous. Everyone could feel the faint negative energy from the distance and was silent for a mere minute.

It was Hibiki who then broke the silence with a concerned tone, once he realized what he was looking at "Nirvana!?"

Natsus facial expression turned from surprise to anger as realization hit. "That light... Jellal is there!"

When Erza heard the name that she detested, she turned to the fire breathing mage, hoping she misheard it. Before she could ask Natsu for reassurance, he was about to dash off like he always does. Erza was faster in her reflexes, and stopped Natsu from going in the direction of the light by grabbing his scarf, and pulled him backwards.

Where do you think youre going, Natsu? Erza muttered, her gaze lower than usual, her tone lower than usual. All which made Natsu tremble. It had been a long time since Erza was this murderous.

Then he realized his mistake, but it was too late.

Natsu stared at the redhead and contemplated on what to say. But knowing Erza, shell find out sooner or later. Jellals alive.

Erza let the words sink in. That man shouldnt have survived that blast. Why is he still alive? She can still remember how helpless she was when she couldnt protect the object of her affection. That was the moment where her nightmare was realized, and she doesnt want to relive that moment, ever again.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry-hic-." Wendy hid behind her eyes with tears rolling down her cheeks and wiping away to prevent more tears.

Erzas rage dwindled a little when she heard the sniffles, and turned to Wendy. Why the tears?

Erza stepped away from Natsu and knelt in front of Wendy. "It's not your fault Wendy. If anything, it gave me a second chance." A second chance to make Jellal pay.

Wendys tears slowed down, and she looked up to Erzas eye level. She felt relieved to know that nobody blamed her for what she did, seeing that there are people that did not like Jellal. Did she make the right choice?

Erza gave her a small smile before she stood back on her feet. She glanced at her girlfriend and wondered what she needed to do.

What should she do?
