Remus' POV

Great, just great, I'm stuck under this damned mistletoe with Sirius. "I just have one question," he said smirking as he placed his wand behind his ear.

"Wouldn't you like to ask that one question." I said sarcastically rolling my eyes,

"Why are we stuck under here?" he asked looking up still smirking,

"Because it's been charmed, idiot," I huffed the smirk on his face faltered and he fell silent.

"Yes I know," he said looking at me with a gay face (substitute for straight), 

"Can I ask a question now?" I asked crossing my arms the bandage on my wrist became visible to him and he looked at it concern taking over his features.

"You just did," he said chuckling,

"Seriously," I said annoyed he chuckled again,

"That's my name, ask the question," he said I huffed and looked at the bandage on my wrist.

"Why is your wand behind your ear?" I asked chuckling he smiled a bit and adjusted it.

"So I don't blow me buttock off," he said seriously I cast a tempus to see the time, 

"We are going to be late," I sighed looking up at him he was a bit taller than me so I would have to stand on my toes to kiss him so we weren't late.

"Than kiss me so we aren't," he said a hint of amusement in his voice, "But first, I thought you didn't like me? You made it seem that way when you read my essay for Potions."

"I do like you. I have for awhile." I huffed fiddling with my robes I looked up and he captured me in a soft kiss his arm snaked around my waist I was shocked at first but kissed back nonetheless.

"Now, we aren't late and if we are," the bell rang as he said this. "Well, just tell them you were stuck under the mistletoe I have to be down in Care of Magical Creatures."

"Right, see you later," I said walking off to my horror and pretty much all the portraits and the one classroom he wasn't finished speaking.

"Hey, it gets cold at night maybe you could Slytherin to my bed!" he called a hint of amusement in his voice I felt my face heat up and turned back to retaliate.

"Get to class! Remus get in here or I'll give you detention!" the Defense teacher yelled I only had defense with Sirius on Mondays. I walked into class still blushing, we only took notes and reviewed what we learned last year, after that lesson, the last lesson of the day, I went put my bag in the tower with Sirius and walked back outside. The snow was getting higher, to Sirius' amusement I sunk in the snow making it come just below my knees. A question that's been haunting me since Defense came back to mind as we trudged through the snow. 

"Sirius, what are we?" I asked stepping in front of him he tilted his head in confusion like a dog would when he didn't understand, so pretty much it was all Sirius.

"Wizards?" he asked confused I chuckled and looked down,

"No, what are we?" I asked he was still confused as I did hand motions between us signalling what I was asking about.

"Is this a trick question? Is the answer humans?" he asked tilting his head to the other side,

"No, Sirius, us, are we together? I wanna know this now so I'm not confused when you go and play with the other girls." I said playing with the snow under my feet I could tell he wasn't confused any more because he started shuffling his feet.

"I don't know, do you want to be with me?" he asked looking down I stopped playing with the snow and looked at him,

"Of course I do, you're my wolf-taimer, as James says, the question is do you want to be with me? I mean, I'm covered in scars, hell, I have three scars on my face that stretch every time I speak and that isn't attractive-" I was cut off of my ranting by a pair of soft lips.

"Don't say that about yourself, me, James, and Peter have stuck with you since we found out you were a werewolf. What would make you think I cared about your scars?" he asked he was still holding my face in his hands looking at me intently I licked my lips and faintly tasted sugar.

"Were you sucking on a Sugar Quill?" I asked trying to change the subject,

"Don't try changing the subject answer my question." he said letting go of my face,

"I don't know, I mean when I was still questioning myself I tried getting a girl to go out with me, Molly actually, she said no with a look of disgust and walked off." I answered truthfully,

"That's probably because she already liked Arthur and was waiting for him to like her." he said I hastily,

"I'm sorry," I said as he grabbed my hand I looked up to see him smiling,

"Don't be, come here, boyfriend," he said chuckling I chuckled and snaked my arms around his neck and kissed him the faint taste of sugar was back and it tasted like cherry, or, strawberry? I don't know it was one of those. I felt something cold drip onto my hand and he pulled away looking around there was no one around and he was hit with a big snowball that looked like it would've hurt another one came hurtling out of nowhere and hit me in the face I rolled my eyes as I wiped the snow off and James appeared on top of a big pile of snow.

"I see you lovebirds have resolved your sexual tension!" he called I saw Sirius bend down and stand up again I looked to see a snowball in his hand I smirked and bewitched it.

"We haven't had sex...yet!" I called back Sirius became flustered and nearly dropped the snowball in his hand,

"What do you mean by that? We just got together," Sirius said I could hear James laughing and with a flick of my wand the snowball in his hand hit him in the face, this was enough for James to double over in laughter and fall off the pile of snow he made. "Oh, it. is. on." he said making another snowball I ran for safety behind the snow pile with James and made another snowball, this time bigger, to throw at Sirius, James was currently recovering from his laughing fit and couldn't take part in this battle I dashed out from behind the pile.

"Careful, Pads, or you could get hurt!" I called chucking the snowball at him missing him by an inch,

"The only thing that'll be hurt is your ego!" he called back I bent over and made another snowball as I stood up I was hit in the face by his snowball I chuckled and wiped it off my face and chucked the other snowball again missing him by an inch.

"Nice try, Remy!" James called from safety behind the pile,

"Shut it-ah!" I said as I was tackled to the ground by Sirius,

"Eat my snow!" he said throwing the snowball he had made when I was distracted in my face I chuckled and through some snow at him. There were crunching footsteps as either students or James walked on the snow.

"Hey look, it's Evans," James said I looked over to see Lily talking to one of her friends I looked at James to see he was standing in a fierce position with a snowball in his hand.

"Prongs, don't!" I warned as she got a little closer in range enough for James to throw the snowball at her I heard Sirius chuckle at the thought of Lily getting a snowball to her face.

"Do it, Prongs," Sirius said encouraging him as she and her friend got closer,

"Prongs, don't do-" it was too late before I could finish my sentence he chucked the snowball at her hitting her dead in her face she wiped the snow away and looked up a smile on her face, their relationship grew over the months but I'm pretty sure she'd still hex him.

"Oh, I am going to hex you, James Potter!" she said pulling out her wand with a smile on her face he looked over at me and Sirius and smirked. "Sirius get off of Remus before I give you detention for having sex on the grounds." I saw Sirius fluster at this and chuckled as he stood up he helped me up and watched closely at the scene of Lily with her wand drawn on James she flicked her wand once and a snowball hit him square in the face.

"Lets go back dinner will be starting soon," Sirius said we all nodded cleaning the snow off ourselves James wiped his glasses free of snow and we walked back to the castle talking and laughing. James and Lily were holding hands so I looked down at the space between me and Sirius' hand and frowned, I brushed my hand against his lightly and looked up he smiled and took my hand. I smiled at him as my heart soared and my stomach did somersaults, this could last and I liked it, no, I loved it, after we all ate dinner we walked back up to the common room Peter was nowhere to be seen so it was just me, Lily, James, and Sirius. When we reached the common room Lily and James shared a quick kiss and went separate ways, Lily to the girls dormitory and James to the boys dormitory with me and Sirius when we got there we changed into pajamas and went to our respected beds, except for me, I crawled into Sirius' four-poster he closed the hangings as I curled up under his blankets I saw him faintly smile as he wrapped his arms around my waist he kissed my forehead and then my lips before falling asleep with me curled into him.
