Remus' POV

The end of my suspension ended up being on the day of the end of term, Guy ended up not being able to go home for Christmas because of his suspension. Sirius was coming over and James and Lily would be stopping by later, I was currently freaking out trying to straighten up my room when my mom called me downstairs my hair was a mess, I was in pajamas. My freaking out only got worse when I walked downstairs to see Sirius with nice clothes on his hair braided, I smiled at both him and my mom, "Look at him, he looks so nice," my mother said Sirius chuckled and looked at me a slight pink tint on his cheeks.

"Yes, Mother, very nice," I said chuckling,

"And what are you wearing, Remus?" Sirius asked chuckling I rolled my eyes and turned to Mother.

"James and Lily said they'd be stopping by later, something about they wanted to talk," I said Mother nodded but before she could speak Sirius hugged me I was shocked at first but hugged him back nevertheless.

"I missed you," he whispered wrapping his arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around his waist,

"I missed you, as well," I whispered back I kissed his neck slightly and pulled back he was rubbing the spot I had kissed and Mother was simply beaming.

"Right, will you be staying for dinner then?" Mother asked Sirius his smile faltered and he looked down,

"I was thinking maybe I can stay for the night?" he asked Mother was beaming as if she just won a new broom,

"That'd be lovely, wouldn't that be great Remus?" she asked looking at me I smiled and looked at Sirius.

"Yes, it'd be great," I said she smiled and looked between us,

"Lovely, I'll start dinner," she said turning around and walking off I turned to Sirius who was smiling.

"What are you thinking?" I asked his smile faded and he looked down,

"I thought you'd like me to stay for the night," he said softly,

"I do, babe, it's just, I'm not exactly out to them, I mean what if they walk in on us kissing or cuddling? Or what if they walk in on us doing something worse than that?" I asked he looked up and walked closer towards me.

"Hey, it'll be fine, you can come out to them tonight I'm sure it'd be fine just ask them what they think of LGBTQ+ and if they say good things tell them if not then say nothing, it's what I did with the Potters." he said rubbing my arm I nodded and motioned towards the stairs,

"Wanna go up to my room? It's not exactly clean but I was working on that when you arrived," I asked he nodded and lead the way up the stairs, "You know, you never told me what you were, are you gay, pan, bi, what?"

"I'm bi, I still like girls but now that I have you I won't be like I was with the girls," he said I smiled and kissed his cheek. We talked and laughed for a bit until a little pop sounded in the corner when we were playing a muggle bored game that my Mother brought with here when she married Father, I looked to the side to see James and Lily standing there Lily's hair was in a messy bun and James hair was still as messy as ever.

"Hello," Lily said politely sitting next to us James did the same and sat across from Lily, "Oh, I love this game, me and my sister used to play it all the time." she added her voice was sad and it broke at the last words.

"Wanna play with us? You might have to go in like thirty minutes or when Mother calls us for dinner or I can ask her if you can stay for dinner?" I asked Lily shook her head,

"We can play with you but we already promised James' parents we'd be home for dinner," Lily said I nodded, James rolled his eyes and Sirius went to take his hair down, "No, leave your hair braided it's beautiful that way."

"Did you do it?" I asked chuckling slightly,

"Yes, I did, it was about time too," she said giggling. We played the game for about twenty or forty minutes till me and Sirius were called down I looked at Lily and James and stood up they all followed suit, James and Lily were getting ready to apparate back when James called to us,

"Hey, Remus, don't rub his stomach you'd be scarred, but from what I hear you already are," he said I looked at Sirius who was tinted scarlet and Lily punched James and with a pop they were gone.

"What happens when I rub your stomach?" I asked as we walked down the stairs,

"You'll just have to find out," he said with a smirk I rolled my eyes and punched him playfully,

"Ok, I'll find out later," I said his eyes widened and he turned a deeper shade of scarlet,

"Not with your parents in the house," he said his voice shaky,

"Ok," I said as I pulled out his chair in the dining room he took it I sat next him as Mother and Father sat next to each other, Father waved his wand and the dishes containing dinner appeared.

"Thank you, love," Mother said kissing Fathers cheek, we ate in silence for a few minutes when Sirius cleared his throat.

"I think, Remus would like to say something," he said I looked at him in fear he nodded his head and I looked at my parents,

"Well, since Sirius thinks this is the right time-" I started but was cut off,

"Which it is," Sirius said I rolled my eyes and pushed my food around with my fork,

"Whatever, Mother, Father, what do you think of the LGBTQ+ community?" I asked Mother was the first to speak,

"I'm highly supportive, although most of the Muggle world isn't, my family was one of those but I'm supportive," she said I nodded and looked at Father I felt Sirius squeeze my thigh, 

"I'm also supportive, thought myself gay when I was in Hogwarts, didn't like any of the girls there, till I met your Mother here, of course, she didn't know what I was until three years after we started dating." he said I nodded and looked at Sirius he stopped squeezing my thigh so I squeezed his,

"Well, I think you should know of something," I said, I removed my hand from Sirius thigh and grabbed his shirt collar, I pulled him into a warm, soft, passionate kiss he was shocked but kissed back after a few seconds. When I pulled away he was smiling and blushing, Father continued eating and Mothers mouth was open a bit. "I'm gay."

"I knew we should've kept his walls pink, Lyall!" she squealed I chuckled and released Sirius' shirt.

"Father, have anything to say?" I asked looking at him intently he put his fork down and swallowed his food, 

"I just have five words to say," he said pausing to take in the glares from Mother and Sirius' glares, "I'm very proud of you,"

"Thank you, Father," I said smiling, Mother smiled, Father smiled and Sirius smiled.

"I take it you two are together?" Mother asked looking at us,

"Yes, and we've had sex," Sirius said I slapped him with the closest hard object, which was an empty bowl, 

"They didn't need to know that! She only asked if we were dating!" I shrieked setting the bowl back on the table,

"Well, I was going to back it up as a joke, but seeing as you hit me with a bowl and shrieked that they didn't need to know that, they know that it wasn't a joke." he said I felt my face get hot and looked down,

"Right, um, how about some pudding?" Mother asked trying to calm the awkward silence that fell around us.

"Yes, um, right," Father said he waved his wand and dishes containing ice-cream, cake, and treacle tarts appeared.

"This is lovely, Mrs. Lupin," Sirius said taking a tart and eating it,

"Please, dear, we've known each other long enough call me Hope," Mother said he nodded, "I made enough for you and Remus to take upstairs, just don't touch the whipped cream."

"What's that?" me and Sirius asked in sync,

"It's a Muggle dairy product, me and your Father have grown fond of it, especially your Father," she replied taking a bite of chocolate ice-cream that was now pile to the rim of her bowl Sirius chuckled and looked between me and my Mother.

"I see, where Remus gets the fondness of chocolate from," he said now eating five more tarts,

"That was his first word you know? He said 'chocolate' before mom or dad, I knew at that point he'd have chocolate piled and stuffed into every crevice in his room," she said smiling at me still eating her ice-cream I was playing with mine, "Shall I get the baby book?" 

"No, Mother, I think me and Sirius will go to bed and leave you and Father to your whipped cream," I got up taking my bowl of chocolate and vanilla ice-cream, Sirius tried to protest but ended up following with a plate of treacle tarts, we talked and ate until we got tired he curled up in one of the baggy shirts I'd use after my transformations so the bandages on my chest didn't show I smiled and curled up next to him he kissed me softly and curled into my chest I smiled and pulled him closer, if possible, and fell asleep a smile on both of our faces.
