For the next week Candace was very busy calling her friends, her brothers friends, her family, Irving, the giant floating baby head, and random delivery guys to get permission to use them in her TV show. When she called her mom all she had to say was,

"I'm glad you're at least doing something productive with your obsession over the boys." but that was fine. Candace had long ago resigned herself to the fact that her mom would never believe her. She had called almost everyone she knew and besides her brothers there was only one person left, Vanessa Doofenshmirtz.

It was friday afternoon and candace was headed to the coffee shop where Vanessa worked, she pushed open the glass door causing a little bell above the door to ring. It was a nice little shop. The walls were painted a light brown color except for one wall at the back which was painted with a bunch of swirly patterns. The metal tables and chairs were a dark green color and there was a short counter with a cash register and several machines for making coffee. Vanessa was standing behind the counter when Candace came in.

"Hey Candace have a seat, my break starts as soon as Mandy gets here" Candace walked over and sat at a small table in the corner while responding,

"Okay, can I get a caramel soy latte"

"Sure thing" Vanessa said and began making it. Candace didn't have long to wait as after only a minute of sitting there a girl who Candace recognized for some reason came in and went behind the counter, soon after that Vanessa walked up handing Candace her latte and sat down in the chair across from her

"Thanks" Candace said and took a sip of her latte

"No problem, now what did you want to talk to me about?" Vanessa asked, the curiosity evident in her voice.

"Remember how my brothers used to build all those cool things when we were kids?"

"Of course, who could forget bouncing to paris on a rocket strapped to a giant rubber band ball?" Vanessa giggled at the memory.

"Well I was recently offered the opportunity to turn their adventures into a cartoon TV show, but I need permission from you to make you a character in the show." Candace explained

"That's totally cool, I'm in."

"Great, oh and there's one other thing." Candace asked tentatively

"What's that?"

"Well you mentioned that your dad was into evil science and I was wondering if he would mind if I used him as the villain in the TV show."

"I'm sure he would love that, he'd be all crazy about being on real live TV, I can actually call him right now if you want, but don't be surprised if he wants you to pay him royalties or something."

"That'd be great, thanks." Vanessa pulled out her phone and called her dad, candace could faintly hear a jingle play through the speaker that said "doofenshmirtz hmmm incorporated" then Vanessa started talking

"Hi dad....yeah dad.........that's great but dad, I have a question.....my friend is starting a TV show and she wants to know if she can use you as the villain........no it's a cartoon........ Oookay dad....love you, bye." she hung up the phone and and looked at Candace, who said,

"So what did he say?"

"he said it would be awesome and started coming up with some scheme take over the tristate area using TV then he remembered that he wasn't evil anymore."

"That's great, thanks so much Vanessa, I have to go now, Stacy and I are taking Ginger and Isabella out for like a sister spa day thing."

"But Isabella isn't your sister." Vanessa said looking confused.

"Yeah but I've seen her like every day for most of my life so she's basically my little sister."

"Oh I see." Vanessa said. Candace stood up to leave then turned abruptly back to Vanessa and said,

"Oh I almost forgot, I haven't talked to my brothers about this yet so don't say anything to Ferb okay."

"No problem." Vanessa stated coolly over her shoulder as the walked back to the counter.
