The next day Candace couldn't focus on any of her classes because she was still trying to figure out why Dan Povenmire wanted to meet with her. When her writing class was over she stayed in the classroom waiting for Mr Povenmire to arrive. It was agony to just sit there, waiting and wondering what was going on. When he finally arrived he greeted her, shook her hand and they sat down in the first row of chairs, then Candace said.

"What is it you wanted to meet me about?"

"Well Candace I read the story you wrote." He said with an unreadable tone and expression

"Yes" She acknowledged, beginning to get a little nervous.

"Well I thought it was wonderful, you truly have an amazing imagination and talent" he complimented. Ah yes, I have an amazing imagination, Candace thought. She had heard those words so many times when talking about her brothers, she decided to make one last stand even if it meant embarrassing herself in front of Dan Povenmire.

"Sir I didn't entirely make that story up, my brothers actually built that roller coaster"

"Wow really! That's amazing! How old were they?" He questioned enthusiastically. This was not the response Candice was expecting but she liked it.

"Um, well, they were 8 at the time."

"8 years old and they built a rollercoaster! Weren't they a little young to be doing that?"

"Yes, yes they we're"

" And your platypus is really a secret agent?"

"Actually, no. I made that part up."

"Oh, well either way, that's amazing. Tell me, did your brothers do any other projects like this?"

"Haha, yeah 104 days worth."

"Well Candace the reason I wanted to meet you is because my friend, Swampy, and I have been wanting to produce a cartoon TV show for a while now and we have been looking for an idea, as soon as I read your story I knew I wanted to use it."

"Sooo, what are you saying" Candace asked hopefully.

"I'm saying I want you to partner with us to produce this show; you write the scripts, we do the animation and production." At these words Candace's head was screaming, yes!yes!yes! But she knew that she couldn't jump into a decision like that so instead she calmly said

"I'll have to think about it and talk to my fiancé, then I'll get back to you"

"Great!" he said then stood up Candace did the same, he handed her his card and told her to call him when she made up her mind. They shook hands and then he left. There was still plenty of time for lunch so she made her way to the deli as usual, and as usual Jeremy was there waiting for her, but this time Stacy was there with him. Candace said hi to them and as soon as she sat down Stacy said.

"So Candy what did Dan Povenmire want?" Before Candace responded Jeremy pushed a grilled cheese sandwich in her direction.

"You'll never believe this but he wants me to partner with him to make my story into a cartoon TV show" said Candace looking at their astonished faces.

"What did you tell him?" Stacy asked excitedly.

"I told Him I'd have to think about it"

"Are you kidding Candace do it!" said Stacy grabbing Candace's arm. Candace looked over at Jeremy.

"Well do you like writing enough to want to write all those script?" Jeremy asked.

"Definitely. I love writing" Candace Answered.

"Well then I say sleep on it and think about it, but I think you should do it!" said Jeremy with a huge smile.

"Thanks You guys, you're the best" said Candace then she took a huge mouthful of her grilled cheese sandwich.
