India and Derrick laid cuddling in the bed, after going yet another round. When they heard their doorbell. Derrick played sleep. India looked over at him, and pushed his shoulder. It took everything in him not to laugh out loud.

"Your ass not sleep." India said, and got out the bed. She grabbed her robe and walked out the room. Derrick eyes open and he reached for his cup and took a sip.

India walked to the door and open it. There stood a girl with a baby. It look like she was crying.

"Uhh may I help you?" India asked her.

"I'm here to see Derrick." The girl said.

"Umm, may I ask why?" India asked the girl with the baby. A baby that looks nothing like Derrick. She was too light, nothing scream Derrick to India.

"Look just let me see him." The girl got loud with India.

India just stood there with her arms folded. "The devil is a damn lie at.." India looked back at he clock on their wall. "12:30 a.m."

"Okay, see you really pissing me off. Derrick!" The girl yelled, and India slammed the door in her face. She walked back in her bedroom and got in the bed, after she removed her robe.

"Who was at the door?" Derrick asked her.

"A girl with a baby." India said. Derrick looked over at her.

"What did she want?"

"You." India looked at him then.

Derrick sighed, "Not this bullshit again. Look I haven't been with anyone since we mainly me, got our shit together." Derrick said. India smiled.

"I know. The baby didn't even look like you, or Iris." India snuggled closer to Derrick. He wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her forehead.

"I love you." He told her.

"I love you too." India said.

"Carmen you ready?" Steven asked Carmen walking in the bedroom. He looked at what she have on. "Apparently not. What the fuck you have on and it cold outside?" He asked her. She looked at her dress and back at him.

"A dress. Are we going or not, because I can get back in the bed." Carmen said.

"Hell no, not if you dressing like that. What wrong with you?" Steven glared at her.

"Ummm, I like it, plus it's warm." Carmen said.

"With all your titties out Carmen, really?" Steven folded his arms.

"Oh my gosh it is not that serious." Carmen sat on the bed.

"It is that serious when you showing to damn much." Steven sat down too.

"Steven my daddy in jail." Carmen looked over at him.

"Oh word. Alright." Steven said. He got off the bed, and walked out the room.

Carmen shook her head, and grabbed her jacket. She walked out the room. Before she could have walked down the stairs the front door shut. She looked over at Mama Lorraine.

"He just left." Mama Lorraine smirked.

"He really left me." Carmen sighed, and walked back upstairs. Steven didn't have to worry about her saying anything to her, when he got back home. He wanted to act like that. "Guess I'll cuddle with my baby." Carmen said as she got undressed. She went to get her baby from Mama Lorraine and walked back upstairs.

Steven returned four hours later. When he walked in the room Carmen and Destini was asleep, with Destini laying on Carmen chest. He already know she wasn't about to talk to him, so he will just be on mute, until she talk to him. He not about to risk them arguing with each other.

He strip down to his basketball shorts and got in the bed with them. He kept his distance though. He not about to get hit. He yawned, and soon fall asleep.

Destini stirred in her sleep, making small baby noise. Carmen eyes open, she looked over and saw Steven was back in the bed, with the covers pulled over his head. That's what she thought. She sat up a little, holding Destini when she did.

"Oooh, you stank stank." She smiled down at Destini. Destini gave her a tiny smile. Carmen got out the bed with Destini in her arms and walked over to Destini changing table. After changing Destini diaper. Carmen sanitized her hands and picked Destini back up. She walked out the room. She was about to fix Destini her afternoon bottle. Destini made sure you feed her every two the three hours. Be late if you want too. She would really would throw a fit.

After fixing the bottle she walked back upstairs, Steven was just wake up. She kept it moving on her side of the bed, as Steven got up out the bed and walked in the bathroom. Carmen rolled her eyes, as she sat on the bed to feed Destini. Steven walked out the bathroom, and got back in the bed. He turned on the TV.

There was a knock at their door.

"Come in." Steven yelled out. Mama Lorraine walked in.

"Just to let y'all know, I am not cooking tonight. I am going out of town with Big T. Business." She said.

"What business?" Steven asked.

"Our business, so mind yours. Bye." Mama Lorraine walked out the room. Steven got out the bed and walked out the room to go ask Big T about it.

Big T was out on the patio smoking a blunt.

"Your old ass still smoking them, I see." Steven said.

"Hell yeah, Young G. Your mom told you we going out of town?" He asked Steven.

"Hell yeah, why?" Steven asked.

"The less you know, the better it will be Young." Big T said.

"Man, that's bullshit. Y'all making it seem like it is bad." Steven eyed Big T, until is eyes bugged out his eyes. "It's bad?"

Big T hold his head down.

"Another war Young. I'm trying to stop it, before it hit. It will hit harder, then the last one." Big T said.

"Oh hell no. I have a daughter now, Fuck that. Your ass better stop it, I can't afford to miss shit out my daughter's life man. Fix this shit." Steven said and walked away. He walked to his mother room. "Ma."

"What?" Mama Lorraine looked up from her tablet.

"Big T told me about the war. Why so many people after us now?" Steven asked.

"A while back, your father and Big T was in a gang, they got out to form their own gang. Things didn't end up well. Your father went his way, and Big T went his. Your father came to me, while Big T went his way. By that time I didn't know I was pregnant with Big T baby. Your father found out, and he said he would be there. He stepped out and went to mess with another gang leader wife, and that's how the war started. How Big T got pulled in it is, because the leader remember Big T, from awhile. It was a shoot out, Big T killed the leader." Mama Lorraine said.

"Wait, let me get this straight. You was back and forth between dad and Big T?" Steven shook his head in disbelief.

"Well Big T had me first, obviously. Your dad just step up and help me raised you and your sister. But when you came, shit just got real, and well let's just say it was a lot of going back and forth." Mama Lorraine said.

"So it's a lot of old cats going at it now?" Steven asked. Mama Lorraine shook her head.

"Oh wow, damn. Learn something new everyday. I would say me and my family will get the hell on through, but shit I don't know where them people at or how they look. I'll just lay low here. Nobody coming in here." Steven said.

"Ya damn right." Mama Lorraine said. Steven smirked. "I can't believe you left Carmen here."

"Did you see what she had on?" Steven asked.

"It was a long dress Steven, her breasts was just out. Breasts that still have milk in it, she is breast and bottle feeding. She can't put them away yet, so you need to apologize." Mama Lorraine said.

"Man I been apologizing a lot lately. That's not me." Steven said.

"That's why your lonely ass fuck and duck bitches all the time, you don't know shit about a relationship." Mama Lorraine grabbed a high heel with the heel skinny a long. "If you don't get your ass upstairs and apologize. This 8 inch heel with be in your eye socket." Mama Lorraine threating him.

"You don't scary me no more." Steven told her backing away from her, when she went to throw the shoe at him he ran out the room.

"Pussy!" Mama Lorraine yelled.

"Your mama!" Steven yelled back.

"She coming to haunt you tonight!" Mama Lorraine yelled out. When Steven was younger he was always scared of grandma, because she looked so mean. She always use to beat him and Derrick for nothing. When Steven use to tell Derrick he was going over to his grandma house, Derrick would run the other way. His grandmother had everybody scared of her.

Steven walked back in the room, he was sharing with Carmen and saw she was giving Destini a bath. She had the heater on high.

"Damn it hot as hell in here. Yo, can we talk?" Steven asked her.

"No." Carmen said as she continued to give Destini her bath.

"Okay well just listen, damn it. I apologize for leaving you here, today when we suppose to go to Columbia together. I didn't go, I just hang out at the shop for a little while, and went to Derrick house. You really pissed me off when you wouldn't change. Plus my mom made me see that you couldn't put the girls away even if you try. I jumped to conclusion. I just want to say I'm sorry, and I hope you can forgive me." Steven told her.

Carmen smiled.

"You have to work for it." She said. Steven raised an eyebrow.

"How?" He asked.

"You are cooking tonight buddy." She said as she dried Destini off, and out her on an onesie.

"That's fine." Steven nodded his head.

"Plus, give me a massage, and bathe me." She finished. Steven glared at her.

"Fine." He huffed, and walked out the room.

"When mommy gets what she want plus extra. That's how you do it baby girl." Carmen laughed, as her Destini just yawned.
