Xilan's POV

As I woke up, I am in a middle of a forest, everything is red, the leaves of the trees are red, I am start seeing things as if I am seeing a red cellophane. I found the nearest pond, walked towards it and I looked down on what I was wearing.

I have a long black hair with some white locks on it, it reaches over the back of my shoulders. I have a black, thin horseshoe style mustache, I don't have my mask which reveals my face,I have metal clock emblem necklace.

I still have my heterochromic eyes, I wore a black, full length, tattered cape coat, under that is a white long-sleeved button-up shirt, I have both black fingerless gloves on each hand with a metal plate on top of it, I wore black slacks, and a pair of black trench boots. I am way too tall on this dimension, now I am 8'11" tall, for real. The weapons inside the cape is just a chain whip, I pulled it and gave it a test swing, it gave a perfect whip crack, then I saw a button on the hilt, pressed it and the whip ignited turning it into a laser whip, I gave it another test swing and it cut through the tree with ease.

"Interesting. I will call you 'Neon Light'". I named my weapon. Satisfied by the test, I turned it off and put it back on my its proper place on my belt hook.

I tested to know if I have some abilities. Since I am RWBY Fan, I know Aura, Semblance, Dust and its history. It turns out that I have two semblance which my right onyx eyes can open black portals while the left silver eyes has the ability to change the future, it changes from normal silver eyes into silver eyes with a clock shape like my emblem, an ability that somehow reminds me of an anime character that has the power to change the future. My aura color is black with little sight of white hue making a very well trained huntsman/ huntress and even other huntsman/ huntress can't really sense it or see it, since my aura level is almost immeasurable, making me a godlike huntsman. I just need some training for me to know my limitation of my semblance and my abilities.

I walked around, find someone that can help me on the finding the way out when a roar caught my attention. I heard where the roar and run towards its direction. I came to a halt then I saw what it was, it was a grimm creature that Phyllis talked about, I saw a blonde haired guy fighting it. The blonde gave the final slash, decapitating the creature, the creature died as his body turned into ash as it was blown away by the wind. I saw the blonde turned towards another guy with brown hair with a metal armor, helped him up while scolding him about never hurt his friends something like that.

Third Person's POV

As Jaune Arc finished scolding Cardin Winchester. The others arrive including Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie, Lie Ren and Professor Glynda Goodwitch.

"What do you have to say for yourselves misters?!" Glynda Goodwitch scolding Cardin

"I am sorry." Both said in shameful voice.

"Good thing that Jaune helped you or else you would have been dead." Glynda said in a stern voice.

"I know." Cardin said. Looked towards Jaune.

"I am sorry Jaune." Cardin apologizes to Jaune

"Just don't do anything stupid like that again. OK?" Jaune said assuringly.

"Yeah." Cardin said.

"Now. Since all of this is over we can finally....." Glynda didn't finish her sentence when a growl was heard.

They all turned around to see another Grimm, this Grimm is another Ursa but more larger than the one that Jaune killed. It revealled itself behind the trees at it crawled towards the group, everyone readied their weapons. Ruby with Crescent Rose, Weiss with Myrtenaster, Blake with Gambol Shroud, Yang with Ember Celica, Jaune with Crocea Mors, Pyrrha with Miló and Akoúo, Lie Ren with StormFlower, Nora with Magnhild, Glynda with her riding crop, and Cardin with his mace.

The giant Ursa lunge towards them, ready to take them on as well as the group readied their weapons. Before they kill the Ursa, something else killed it. A laser chain whip came out of nowhere and slice through the middle of the Urse with ease with whip crack after the Ursa was killed. The Ursa roared in agony until it turned into ash.

Everyone turned their eyes towards the person who killed it. They saw a man who is like he is 20 years old with a whip on his right hand. The man pressed the button on the whip as the laser went off, the man pulled the whip towards to himself as he wrap the whip neatly and put it back on his belt and hid it under his coat. He walked towards the group, surprisingly he was tall, too tall. He looked down on us.

"Who are you?" Glynda said calmly.

"Oh. I am just a regular person walking through the forest. Nowhere to go in life." He said calmly.

"Isn't that a little too clićhe?" Weiss said with a slight annoyance on her voice.

"Maybe." He said nonchalantly.

"I ask again. Who are you?" Glynda demanded an answer.

"The name is Dim Gray." He said with a bow of his head.

"I am Glynda Goodwitch and these are my students." She introduce herself

"Ruby Rose."

"Weiss Schnee"

"Blake Belladonna"

"Yang Xiao Long"

Glynda introduce everyone to Dim Gray.

"Good afternoon everyone." He welcomed them calmly. Everyone greeted him except for Ruby, whose eyes are shining with stars on it.

"Oh boy." Yang said nonchalantly, expecting something like this can happen.

"What do you mean?" Dim asked.

"Well you see, Ruby is much of a....." She didn'y get to finish her sentence when Ruby was infront of Dim with stars on her eyes.

"OH. MY. GOSH. I. LOVE. YOUR. WEAPON. SIR. WHAT IS IT MADE OUT OF?! CAN IT CUT THROUGH STEEL?! IS LONG ENOUGH?! OH. I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR WEAPON. WHAT'S ITS NAME?! DID YOU NAME YOUR WEAPON?! WHAT KIND OF A WEAPON IS IT?! OH I REALLY WANT TO KNOW!!!!" Ruby said so fast and with excitement being released on her voice.

"Weapon fan." Yang said.

"Ruby Rose. Calm yourself infront of the guest." Glynda scolded her.

"I'm sorry." Ruby pouted, which I find it cute. I chuckled at her behavior. I patted her head with my left hand.

"Don't worry Ruby. We will get to know each other." Dim said to her.

"Promise?" She looked up to me.

"Promise." I said.

"Now that everything is clear. We can now go back the Beacon Academy." Glynda said as everyone followed her except Dim who stayed at his place, everyone notices him and looked back at him.

"Aren't you coming?" Jaune asked

"I still have something left undone which I have to take care of." I said calmly.

"C'mon. It will be fun in Beacon." Ruby said as she tried to pull me onto the group.

"I am sorry but I have really to finish my work." Dim said

"After meeting with the Principal Ozpin, you can go back to your unfinished business." Ruby persistently tried to pull me but with no avail.

"I am really sorry." Dim said as he let go of her hand, and walked away from the group.

"You are leaving already? But we just met you. I want to know more about you." Ruby said with dissapointment on her voice.

Dim turned his head around and smile softly at her.

"Don't think of this as a 'goodbye'. There are no such things as 'goodbyes' but only 'see you later.'" He said assuringly.

"Will we meet each other again?" Ruby said.

"Yes." He said with small smile making Ruby blush.

He turned his head back to his destination, with his right onyx eye glowing, he opened up a black portal with runes circling around the very black center of the swirling portal

Dim Gray walked into the portal, as the portal closes completely, leaving everyone with an awestruck face, seeing this kind of semblance is unheard of.

"Maybe someday." Ruby muttered happily while a small blush crept on her face.

"You like him. Do you?" Yang said teasingly as she nudged Ruby on the shoulder.

"DON'T SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT SO SUDDEN YANG!!!" Ruby yelled at her sister as she blushed harder.

"But you like him?" Yang still tease her.

"Maybe a little." Ruby said as she played with her fingers.

"Oh. My sis growing up." Yang said as she hug Ruby.

"YANG!!! LET ME GO!!!" Ruby yelled as she is trying to break free from her sister's grip.

"C'mon you two. Let's go before Glynda will scold us again." Weiss said with irritation in her voice.

"Coming." Both said as they walked towards the group. Ruby pause for a minute and turned around to look where Dim left. She smile.

"Someday Dim. Someday." She said as she ran towards the group.

Xilan's POV

A few days has pass, I have to keep myself hidden from anything that will have some unnecessary attentions. I have kept my identity hidden and named myself "Dim Gray". The same person that helped Ruby and the gang from a very big Ursa Grimm.

As the days pass, I trained myself to become stronger, faster, better and trained my Aura and Semblance. I can now open portals and keep it open about 6-7 minutes and go anywhere but may had leave me out of exhaustion but I manage. My future manipulating power also increased, making me control the future on when/ what/ how/ if it will happen, five days into the future is the farthest date I can see and manipulate. While I was travelling, I killed many grimms, protecting the people, collecting earnings for future purposes and completing my first mission. My second mission might be a little bit difficult, taking down Cinder Fall, the same girl the will kill Pyrrha Nikos. Oh I watched the entire show until Volume 4, I might hate her but sometimes, you have to forgive and forget.

A few days pass, I have gained enough money for me to buy another weapon, I know that I am very good at the whip, but I must have another weapon in case that the whip will be broken. So I helped a blacksmith forge my weapon. My newly forged weapon is a sword, a khopesh sword, with black leather wrapped around the hilt, shining stainless steel for the blade with a clock isignia on the blade. Thanks with my Aura control, I can now transfer my Aura onto the sword making a black glow that surrounds the blade of the sword. I trained and I trained until I can now surpass any huntsmen and huntresses.

As I walked through the crowds of Vale, I passed by a store and heard news, something about the White Fang and Roman Torchwick. Oh yes. Those two are always the troublemakers of Remnant, lets not forget Cinder and the other villains. As I walked down I saw a banner that says "WELCOME TO VALE", Oh I remember this scene, this is the scene where Sun comes in, Blake reveals that she is a faunus, Sun and Blake faces Roman and the White Fang members and Penny Polendina. I was thinking which I didn't notice I bumped into someone. That person fell down and groaned from the pain. I felt embarassed, I helped that person up.

"I am so so sorry." I said as I help the person up.

"It is Ok sir. You don't have to...." She didn't finish her sentence and looked up to me with her eyes widened. I am also surprise on who she is. Those silver eyes. I remember those eyes. It is Ruby Rose.

"Ruby?" I asked.

"OH. MY. GOSH!!!!" She shouted in excitement and hugged me on the waist tightly.

"I CAN FINALLY GET TO SEE YOU!!! WHERE WERE YOU???!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I WAITED FOR YOU???!!! BUT NO MATTER. I CAN NOW GET TO SEE YOU AFTER A LONG, LONG DAYS OF WAITING!!!" Ruby shouted in excitement.

"Yes. It is good to see you too as well. Ruby." I said while I am hugging her.

"So. Ruby's boyfriend is here." A voice came out. Me and Ruby looked who it was and it was Yang. Ruby's Sister and behind her is an irritated looking Weiss Schnee and Penny Polendina. We both blushed and let go of each other, and looked away from each other.

"Yang! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be looking for Blake?!" Ruby shouted.

"Don't you mean 'we'?" Weiss said irritatingly.

"What happened?" I asked them.

"You see it is a long story. You see Blake and Weiss are fighting about the White Fang and faunus. Then it reach into our rooms in Beacon Academy, Blake accidentally daid that she is a faunus and ran away that night and never came back. And here we are looking for her then came in contact with you." Ruby said.

"Oh really?" I asked.

"Yup." Yang said.

"I don't really care. She is a faunus, all faunus are just the same as the White Fang. They are all......." She didn't get to finish hrr sentence when I interrupted her.

"Is that how low you think of them? Huh? Weiss?!" I said angrily

"Excuse me?" She said.

"Are you really that stupid to think that Blake and the other faunus are just monsters and lower life form?!" I questioned her belief on the faunus.

"Don't talked down on me like those other....." She answered angrily yet she still didn'y finish her sentence.

"Like what?! Like those 'Faunus'! Please. From what you are saying as if they are suppose to bow down you as if you are a queen!!! Well hate to burst your bubbles!!! You are not a queen!!! You are not the authority!!! You are not the judge to judge on who they are!!! You are just a child!!! A Whinning, unsatisfied, thumb-sucking, spoiled child!!! Who can't let go of that stupid hatred over all faunuses!!!" I yelled at her.

"Don't you dare talked to....." She yelled.

"OH!!! I DARE!!! BECAUSE IF YOU CAN'T LET GO OF YOUR HATRED OVER FAUNUSES THEN GO DROWN YOURSELF ON THAT HATRED FOR ALL I CARE!!! YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN ROMAN TORCHWICK!!! AND DON'T EVEN TALKED ABOUT THAT THE WHITE FANG KILLING PEOPLE. HUMANS DO THE SAME THING, AND YOU THINK THAT ONLY THE FAUNUSES ARE THE CAUSE OF IT?! THEN YOU ARE WRONG!!! BLAKE QUIT JOINING THE WHITE FANG BECAUSE THEY ARE DOING IS WRONG. FEAR WON'T HELP THEM MAKE PEACES WITH HUMANS, IT WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE!!! AT LEAST SHE IS THINKING UNLIKE YOU!!!" I said as I point my finger on her forehead.

"YOU LET YOUR ANGER BLIND YOUR JUDGEMENT AND THINKING. YOU THINK ALL OF THE FAUNUSES ARE JUST THE SAME RUTHLESS, LYING, BACKSTABBING MURDERERS?! THEN YOU ARE FUCKING WRONG!!! NOT ALL OF THEM ARE MONSTERS!!! MOST OF THEM TRY TO MAKE PEACE WITH HUMANS!! SOME OF THEM WORKED WHILE SOME DIDN'T BUT THEY KEEP TRYING TO MAKE PEACE!!! THAT IS WHY YOU HUMANS ARE CALLED 'HOMO SAPEINS'! MEANING 'WISE MEN'! BUT JUST FROM WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. YOU ARE NOT WISE. YOU ARE JUST A SPOILED BRAT FROM A WEALTHY FAMILY WHO DIDN'T TAUGHT YOU ABOUT THE KINDNESS OF OTHER FAUNUSES!!! IF THAT IS WHAT ALL YOU ARE GOING TO SAY?! THEN I SUGGEST TO SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! OR ELSE I WILL CUT THAT TONGUE OF YOURS INFRONT OF PEOPLE AND ADD ANOTHER SCAR ONTO THAT OTHER EYES OF YOURS!!!" I yelled at her.

She was speechless, she can't say anything else. Ruby, Yang and Penny eyes widen when the argument of both me and Weiss. I calmed down and straightened myself. I looked at Ruby.

"Ruby." I said calmly. She tensed at that and looked at me.

"If you are looking for Blake, she is with another faunus. A monkey faunus to be exact, his name is Sun Wukong. Both will go to the docks tonight, the White Fang and Roman Torchwick are going to steal some dust crates. An opportunity for Blake to fight Roman and the members of the White Fang. I will meet them tonight, only me, but if you want to help, then I suggest you prepare yourself." I said monotonously as she nodded. Everyone except for Weiss nodded, and went back to Beacon to prepare themselves. As I walked the other ways, I paused and looked at Weiss who is still in shock.

"I hope that is enough for you to break into that thick skull of yours. If not, then I don't really think you are human or even have a heart." I said bitterly, as walked away from her.

It was now night, I am now in the docks, there I saw Blake and Sun fighting Roman Torchwick. They seem to be having a hard time fighting him, but Blake kicked Roman in the face making him fall backwards. Roman got angry and shot the hanging crate from above Blake and Sun, trying to crush them. I saw it, I activate my laser chained whip, twirled it behind me making it long enough, I swung the whip upwards then vertically downwards, making the crate split into two, missing both Blake and Sun. I deactivate my whip and neatly put it back on my coat. Everyone's eyes looked up on me being on top of the warehouse.

"Dim??!!!" Blake shouted.

"You know that guy?" Sun asked blake.

"Yes. He is the one that killed the giant Ursa Grimm back then in the forest when we are collecting tree sap." Blake explained it to Sun.

"Oh great. Another kid trying to be a hero." Roman said annoyingly.

"I should say the same thing to you. You bowler hat wearing gay." I insulted him

"I AM NOT GAY!" Roman shouted.

"Hurting a lady is not an action of a man. Doing that just proves you are gay. Another fact is that you wear eyeliners is another point that you are gay." I said mocking his manliness.

"THAT'S IT!!!" Roman shouted as he point his cane gun at me.

He fires the first one which I dodge easily making the bullet explode behind me as I ran towards him. He keeps firing bullets at me while I easily evade those bullets, when I am now infront of him, he slash his cane downwards only to hit nothing.

"Where did that insulter go?" He shouted.

I appeared above him, I grabb his head with my right hand and smash his head down on the ground. I looked at him with a bored face since I thought that he might be challenge for me, it turns out ot wasn't. I lift him up and throw him hard at one of the crates. He coughed up a few splatters of blood, blood trails down on the side of his lips. He has a large bruise on the side of his face. I walked towards him, and when I am near him, I asked a question.

"Where is you boss?" Said demandingly.

"Like I will tell you." He said as he spat blood infront of me.

"It was worth to try." I said flatly as I walked away from him.

"Aren't you going to arrest me?" He asked comically. Thinking why I let him go so easily.

"This is not my time yet for interferance." I said as I walked away from him, as he escapes from one of the bullheads.

"He is a wierd kid. I better tell her this." He said as he closes the door and escapes.

I was out of Remnant and looked at Phyllis with a confused looked.

"Phyllis. I am not yet finish with my mission." I said.

"You need rest. Tomorrow is school. You have 5 hours left sleep. Goodnight." She said, as she closes the Multi-Universal Transprojector.

I walked to my room which is a place that is nice enough to have a bed. I look on the bed to see Sir Nuzzle already asleep. I smiled at the cuteness of the cat. I silently walked on my bed, put Sir Nuzzle on top of me and went to sleep, seeing that I have school tomorrow, maybe I can finish my RWBY mission tomorrow. I forgot I didn't say goodbye to Ruby, but I as I said before "The are no such thing as 'goodbyes' but only 'see you later'." Which I will do if I go back to Remnant. I went to sleep as thinking for tomorrows events.
