Constructive Criticism

Ever come across someone who asks for your opinion/constructive criticism you give it to them, and they go on the defensive side and basically go ballistic refusing to believe their book is anything less than perfect? And you never once became cruel, or mean they just hate hearing the truth and what needs improving.

The only way any writer will be able to improve is learning to take constructive criticism. Just a few days ago in my book Hired Wife, a few people pointed out a few of my typos. I did not get defensive or get angry with them. I want my readers to feel they can point out my typos and not worry I am going to go ballistic on them.

Every writer at some point needs to suck it up and listen to where they need improvements.

None of us are perfect, but at least realize and accept the fact we all have room for improvements.
