If you've ever read my Bucky book or my Harry Potter and Doctor Who ones before I deleted them, then you'll know that I respond to every comment

Well, I try to - I miss some now and again

99% I get lmao

I do this to make my readers feel encouraged to comment, and therefore, encouraged to read more

I also do it because some of the comments I get are too fucking funny-

Anyways, you should feel glad to get a comment, no matter what it says

If you get a comment that criticizes you or your writing, don't take it to heart (I know it's difficult not to), as at the end of the day, that negative comment makes you look better

It increases the comment count on your book, and also increases the amount of reads you have, as they had to open the book to comment

So, if you get a negative comment, just smile and say "Thanks for commenting :))", as that one comment and that one read might be just what you needed to reach a milestone

If you get a positive comment, then congratulations and well done, but you could make this even better by replying to it

Replying to comments allows you to create relationships with your readers, and as you learn more about your audience, it makes it easier to write for them, as you know what kind of stories they like

It will take time, but it will happen eventually - gotta start at the bottom

And you never know, you might make some really good friends from it
