I walked to Sonic's house, Tail might be able to help. As I was walking I was thinking about what had just happened, why did we get so angry? It must be another effect. I got to Sonic's house and knocked on the door. No answer.

I knocked again and waited for a little bit, still no answer, plus the house is really quiet. I went to open the door and it swung open easily. I walked inside,

"Hello? Guys you here? You left the front door unlocked." 

Still no reply, weird. I walked out the back and still no sings of anyone, so I walked back into the lounge room, which I just realized was a horrible mess. There had been a fight, or a struggle if anything.

I ran out of the house and ran all the way to Amy's with my super speed. I was there in seconds. I knocked on the front door and stood there for three minutes, it was silent as well, so I walked in. It looks like there was a struggle here to. I sighed and ran to the Chaotix, hopefully they are still there.

I get to their house and knock, I walk in without waiting and see exactly what I thought I would see, a struggle. I was getting a little worried, and that's when a thought comes to me,

Ally is at Silver's house.    

I started running, it was a pretty far run, but I stopped after a few seconds, and idea in mind. I pulled out my purple chaos emerald.

"Chaos Control!"

I appeared at Silver's house and ran to the front door, I could here them, and it sounded like they needed help. I opened the door to see Silver protecting Ally from some sort of monster, it was bulky and a little tall, but it also had big hands. It was trying to get them but silver had a protective shield around them.

"Ally! Silver!" I yelled. They looked at me and started yelling, but I couldn't here them, they where inside the shield. My bow appeared and I shot an arrow at the monster, but it had a thick layer of rock covering it, which stopped the arrow.

However, it DID get the monster's attention. It looked at me and started walking towards me, so I shot another arrow at it's face, and I hit it's eye. It roared in pain and started to charge at me, I jumped over it and kicked the back of it's head, making it fall over. It didn't move from there.

I stood there just staring at it until a scream turned me around. Silver's shield must have given up, because both he and Ally where being dragged into a portal. Silver was trying to pull Ally out but he wasn't strong enough, so I ran over to help.

"Hold on!" I yelled. I grabbed Ally's free hand and tried to pull her out but we weren't strong enough, she disappeared into the portal. It shut off, leaving Silver and I panting.

"What was that?" I asked.

He shook his head, "I don't know, but I'm sorry about before, must be a side effect."

I nodded, "Yeah, same here. We need to find Ally, whoever kidnapped her took everyone else as well."

"They did?" Silver looked at me.

"Why else would I still be here?" I asked.

"Hey, don't get snappy, we need to find out who took everyone, lets go." He stood up and walked out the front door, "Have you checked Cream's house yet?"

I shook my head, "No, we better go check." I grabbed his arm and held my chaos emerald again, "Chaos Control!"

He appeared at Cream's house, and it to was dead silent, there had been a little bit of struggle, but not a lot. Poor Cream and Vanilla, we will find them and save them.

Suddenly, there was a high pitched noise and it was shrieking. I covered my ears and hit the floor, it really hurt, and Silver was doing the same, I wonder what is was. It stopped and we stood up, a little dizzy, when I was kicked in the back.

I fell over and skidded a few centimeters, then I turned around to see Mephiles with a knife under Silver's chin. I went to stand up, but Silver's gasping stopped me. I grabbed my throat as I felt something poking it, the knife at Silver's neck, I can feel what he feels, great.

"Ah ah ah, don't move, or your friend loses his voice box." Mephiles tsked. I didn't even know if that was where his voice box was, but I wasn't taking any chances. I stayed put and glared at the black hedgehog,

"What do you want?" I spat.

"I want you to choose, but you will have to find me first." He chuckled, "Good luck." He disappeared with Silver, who let out a small yelp, being pulled back into another portal. I sighed, I hope he doesn't do anything to him, I'm not really up for any pain right now.

I stood up and dusted my pants off, then walked outside. Where should I go? I got an idea yet again, but I don't know if it will work. I pulled out my emerald, for the third time today and closed my eyes. I thought about where Mephiles would take Silver, and I smiled,

"Chaos Control!"

I opened my eyes and found myself in a lab kind of room. I saw Silver in a cage and ran over to him, he stood up and looked at me, grabbing the bars. He shot back and I felt an electric pain in my hands, making me grab them.

"What are you doing here? You know Mephiles will get you!" He exclaimed. 

"Shh! Be quiet." I hushed.

"Oh, sorry." He apologized, "But, the others, they are over there." He pointed across the room to another cage, but this one was bigger, and it had more people in it, all huddled in the middle. I ran over to the cage, not touching the bars.

"Guys, are you okay?" I whispered.

They all looked at me and smiled, nodding.

"We are glad you came." Sonic stated, "You can turn the cage off, it's over there." He pointed to a switch.

I walked over and examined it, "Is this it?"

"Yes, flip it!" Shadow snapped.

I rolled my eyes and flipped the switch, but the bars where still on.I walked to the center of the room,"Why didn't it work?"

"Because that was the wrong switch." Mephiles' voice filled the room. I looked around but I couldn't see him, "That switch was to warn me that you where here, I just told everyone else something different, and it worked."

He appeared in front of me, like, right in front of me, he grabbed my arm and pinned me against him, the knife he had before millimeters from my neck.

"Let her go!" Ally yelled. She stood up and walked to the bars of the cage, careful not to touch them.

He pressed the knife to my neck, and Silver grabbed his, "Don't try anything."

Ally back away from the bars, fear in her eyes as she sat down with Tails. Mephiles pulled the knife away and took a step back.

I glared at him, "Let my friends go!"

"Not yet, I have a very important task for you. If you choose to free Silver, the others will die, if you choose to free the others, Silver will die. Choose wisely."
