How I met Sion Eltnam Sokaris

*This chapter takes place during the Lostbelt 3 Intro. From now on, all chapters will taking place in the Chaldean Base in the Wandering Sea instead of the Shadow Border.*

Throughout Chaldea's journey to defeat the Crypters and restore Proper Human History, a mage from the Wandering Sea has been in contact with them telling the crew of the Shadow Border to come to the Wandering Sea. It seems that since the Wandering Sea existed in its own pocket dimension, it's survived the bleaching of the world when the Foreign god destroyed Proper Human History. The group had first received contact from the unknown mage when they had left the Russian Lostbelt as the mysterious mage told them to come to the Wandering Sea. However, to get to it, the staff of the Shadow Border had to go through the Scandinavian Lostbelt where they all almost died trying to stop Surtr who almost became a threat equal to the Incineration of Humanity, but thanks to the many sacrifices of Napoleon, Sigurd, Brynhildr, and even Ophelia, one of the Seven Crypters, the group managed to make it to the Wandering Sea....where the Shadow Border immediately began to sink!

"Great...now we're going to die.," Gudako stated as she held onto Ryan for dear life. "Well, at least I can die in my lover's arms."

Jalter glared at the orange haired girl. "You better let him go if you know what's good for you."

"Stop fighting you two.," Ryan said as he turned to both child and adult versions of Da Vinci. "Is there anyway to get out this?"

"Unfortunately, we didn't design the Shadow Border for aquatic travel.," Child Da Vinci stated. "So...we're dead."

"May I suppose a last minute orgy before we all die?," Gudako suggested.

"What is with you?!," Goredolf exclaimed. "We are all about to drown and you want to have an orgy?!"

"What? It's my dying wish.," the female master of Chaldea admitted.

"We aren't going to die!," Ryan yelled defiantly. "We didn't make this far, having to destroy two other worlds, just to die here! I refuse to let things end this way!"

"But Senpai! What can we do?!," Mashu asked in desperation.

Suddenly, a giant fortress emerged from the ocean as  the familiar and yet mysterious voice that had less the staff of the Shadow Border to the Wandering Sea in the first place spoke. "Welcome Chaldeans! Sorry about the delay, but welcome to the Wandering Sea! I'm Sion Eltnam Sokaris, your new—"

"Can let us in before we all drown?!," Izumi, Ryan's bodyguard exclaimed.

"Oh right...sorry.," the voice said as two large metal doors swung opened allowing the current caused by them opening to allow the Shadow Border inside a docking bay like area.

Once the doors closed and the water died down, the crew of the Shadow Border safety began to exit the the vehicle as they saw a bunch of mysterious machinery that seemed to be keeping up the Wandering Sea's oxygen and water pressure levels stable. However, the thing that stood out the most was a young purple haired woman wearimg something like a school uniform, glasses, and her hair tied back into twin tails. She looked to be extremely intelligent, but also had a mischievous look on her face.

"Once again, welcome Chaldeans to Wandering Sea!," the mage said with a bright smile sending a wink at the crew. "I'm Sion Eltnam Sokaris and I'm your brand new ally here to help you restore Proper Human History!"

"Umm...not to be rude, Ms. Sokaris, but how do you know what we are trying to do and why are you helping us?," Sherlock asked which to be fair everyone was thinking about.

Sion sighed. "Well, that's because everyone I. The Wandering Sea is trying to stop their own predicted end of the world. I predicted the Foreign God's arrival and the destruction of Proper Human History. Naturally, after you all stopped the Incineration of Humanity, the Foreign god would target Chaldea. So, I decided to build you all a new base in the Wandering Sea!"

"So, wait....our new base is the Wandering Sea?," Ryan asked.

"Well yes and no.," Sion admitted nervously. "You see, the other mages in the Wandering Sea are still trying to prevent their own apocalypses, so we can only use the entrance to the Wandering Sea, but thanks to me and Captain, we built you all a base equal to your old base in Antartica. Welcome to Novum Chaldea!"

The entire crew cheered as they realized that they all didn't have to share small living quarters anymore. Since the Shadow Border was more of small mobile base, there not Ryan and Goredolf got their own rooms while the rest of the staff had to share a community living quarters. So, the idea of not having living all in one room was great.

However, Ryan realized something weird about what Sion said. "Wait? Who is this Captain you mentioned?"

Oh yeah. I need introduce him.," the purple haired girl exclaimed. "Captain! Can you come in here for a second?"

"I guess, but then I need to get back to work!," a male voice called. "This place doesn't run all by itself, you know."

With that, a small boy with blonde hair and blue eye wearimg Indian style clothing walked into the docking area and next to Sion's side.

"So...these must be the folks from Chaldea.," the small boy said. "I'm Captain, Sion's servant. Now, if excuse me...I have to get back to work."

"Hold on....you have a servant?!," Gudako asked in sparkles in her eyes. "He's so cute!"

"Stay away from me.," Captain stated as he walked off. "I can tell you're crazy."

"That just makes me want you more.," the crazed master said as she went after the child like servant.

"I'll go after her. Hopefully, she doesn't break anything.," Izumi said as she went after the pair.

"Anyways, yes. I have a servant.," Sion admitted. "I needed help building Chaldea, so I borrowed your summoning system to summon some help....though Captain just does whatever he wants, but he's a very dependable guy."

"Well, if introductions are over, let's see this new base of ours.," Goredolf said as he began to try to walk inside only be stopped by Sion. "Why are you stopping me?"

"Sorry, but we need to discuss my payment.," the purple haired girl said causing everyone's jaws to drop. "What did you think I was doing this for free?"

"I mean....that would have been nice.," Ryan said.

"Don't worry, I don't want money.," Sion said with a smile causing Goredolf to sigh in relief. "I want Ryan."

"What?!," all of Ryan's female servants yelled in disbelief.

"Why me?!," the brown haired boy said.

"Well, I was thinking that the savior of humanity would make a fine husband for me.," the mage admitted as she pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. "Now, if you would sign this contract saying that you would be my husband, we can all go inside.,"

The male master of Chaldea couldn't believe it. After the long journey of getting here, he now had to sign his freedom away. However, if he didn't, it was possible that Sion would just kick them out and the crew of Shadow Border would have to go back to living a community space and rations...assuming they didn't all drown once they left the Wandering Sea.

So, with a heavy heart, the boy made his way up to Sion ready to sign the contract, but before he could, she pulled it away as she started to laugh. "Oh my god! I can't believe you we're going to do it!"

"But you said—-," Ryan said before being silenced by the girl.

"It was just a joke.," Sion admitted. "Just a way to break the ice...now, let start with the tour."

With that, she shoved paper into the boy's hand as she gestured everyone to follow her inside. As he made his way in, Ryan was trying to comprehend what happened. Sure, Sion was a bit mischievous and her prank wasn't funny, but she did Julie this base for them....so she wasn't all bad. He also had to admit that she was pretty cute too. That's when he looked down at the contact and notice this: I know I said it was a joke, but if you ever are interested in marriage, I'm available ❤️.

Ryan immediately became extremely nervous as he made eye contact with Sion as she gave him a flirtatious wink. "Crap basket. Not another one....."
