*This chapter is taking place during the Death Jail Summer Escape rerun, part 2 of the Summer 2 rerun event.*

You know....Ryan should have expected that a rerun was going to happen. I mean seeing how he was forced to return to Piggie Island last year, he should have known that Ishtar was going to do another run at the Summer Race again, but honestly, the brown haired boy was still reeling from the fact that he didn't manage to summon Skadi during the Third Anniversary to notice that the goddess organizing the race. Also despite being tricked into reviving Ishtar's Divine Bull, all of the previous racers returned to race once again and like last year, Ryan was roped into the race as well as Summer Raikou wouldn't let her son out of her sight.

Like last year, Nero and Maid Alter dominated the race though there was at one point where Nitocris and Scheherazade gained the lead, but the Saberface duo quickly took back the lead. However, like last year, just as everyone was going to cross the finish line, the racers fell back down into Medb's prison again and was thrown in the exact same cells they were thrown into a year prior.

"You know.....you think after what we went through last year to escape this year, I don't know.....made so we didn't race through Medb's territory again!!," Ryan yelled at Chibi-Ishtar who had been once again shrunk by Medb's bounded field.

"Hey! It would have costed me heavily to change the course!," the Summer goddess stated. "It was just easier to keep the course the same!"

"Cheapskate goddess.," the male master of Chaldea stated which caused the Rider class servant to pounce on her master as she punched his chest with her tiny fists.

"Calm down you two!," MHX said as she dragged Summer Ishtar off of Ryan. "We need to focus on escaping from here and getting back to race."

"Yeah!," Nobu exclaimed with a cheer. "I'm ready to earn the top spot this year! First place here we come!"

"Is anyone else surprised that Medb's forces gave us the items we used to escape last year to us?," Xuanzang Sangzang asked slightly confused. "Seriously, you think Medb would have learned her lesson."

"No one ever said Medb was smart.," Nitocris said.

"Let's just get back to the race.," Summer Raikou said as she held her hand to her "son." "Come on, dear. Time to get to work."

The brown haired boy sighed as he knew that he wasn't going to get away from his "mother." However, just as he got up, he felt someone hug him from behind as he turned to see Summer Artoria Alter also known as Maid Alter holding onto him tight.

"I'm sorry, but as Master's maid, it's my duty to keep him safe!," Rider Alter stated with a stern glare as the Lancer class servant. "So, he will be coming with me!"

"Yeah! Praetor is coming with us!," Nero exclaimed. "You got your way last year! Now it's our turn, Umu!"

Raikou immediately glared at the two Saberfaces as a fiery red aura sparked off of her causing everyone else to back away. "How dare you....there is no way in hell I'm letting you two be alone with my son! Who knows what kind of immoral acts you have planned to do with him?! No...he better off going with me where I keep an eye on him! Besides, I'm actually one of his servants unlike you two!"

Maid Alter just smirked evilly. "Oh really? Then let's fix that."

With that, the maid immediately put her hands on Ryan's cheeks before passionately kissing in front of everyone. The entire group of racers jaws dropped as Moriarty covered Summer Fran's eyes as MHX and Nobu began taking snapshots of the kiss, but Raikou was about attack the King of Knights until Xuanzang Sangzang and Scheherazade had hold her back.

"Oh, you are so dead!!! No one kisses my son, but me!," the Summer Lamcer yelled as Fran, MHX, Nobu, Helena, and Ishtar sheepishly began to whistle seeing how they done more than just kiss their master, hopefully Ryan's mother didn't know that.

Artoria Alter just smirked as she separated from Ryan while still holding him close to him. "Well, with that kiss, he's officially my Master now. So, as my duty as a maid and a servant, I'll be the one to keep him safe! See you girls at the finish line! Come on Nero!"

"Ok!," Summer Nero said as the two front runners of the Summer Race dashed off with Ryan hoping to get as far away from Summer Raikou as possible.

Meanwhile, the Berserk Mother finally managed to get free as she chased after them dragging Xuanzang Sangzang alongside her. "Oh no you don't! Come back here with my son, you hussies!"

"Well....things just a bit more interesting.," Summer Ishtar said to the rest of the racers. "Anyways, let the second half of Summer Race rerun begin! Time to decide who will win the race! Who will it be?!"

It was Maid Alter and Summer Nero and after the race, the maid was often found cleaning Ryan's room or just hanging out with her master. Little did she know that in only couple of weeks, another summer Alter would be joining Chaldea's ranks.
