*This chapter takes place after the story of Lostbelt 1 as ends.*

He didn't know how they did it, but somehow Chaldea managed to get through their first Lostbelt. It was a long and painful journey, but Ryan knew it was only the beginning of the a much larger adventure. Still....the trials that Ryan had faced during the first Lostbelt was something that nearly broke him.

In order to destroy the Tree of Emptiness that sustained the Russian Lostbelt, Chaldea had teamed up with the Yaga resistance led by Atalante Alter to take down the rule of Ivan the Terrible. After many long battles, they managed to defeat the beast king only to be immediately be betrayed by their allies. You see, at one point the resistance had been captured by Ivan's forces and during that time Kadoc, one of the seven Crypters who helped destroy Proper Human History, offered them a deal: become his allies instead to defeat both Ivan and Chaldea so that the Russian Lostbelt could survive. Since only one history could survive this whole Lostbelt ordeal, the resistance reluctantly joined forces with Kadoc and his servant Anastasia as they almost succeeded in killing Ryan and his servants.

It was only thanks to Paxti, the yaga that Chaldea had befriended during their time in the Russian Lostbelt that Ryan survived. Paxti had gave his life for Ryan's and with his dying breathe told him to live so that he could fight to bring Proper Human History back. Thanks to this, Chaldea somehow managed to find the strength to defeat Kadoc's forces, take the crypter captive, and cut down the Tree of Emptiness. Still, the male master of Chaldea could the guilt of destroying an entire world. Sure....they weren't supposed to exist in the first place, but the boy couldn't help think about all the people who had been wiped from existence because of him.....especially Paxti. So, for the past couple of days, Ryan had been moping around the Shadow Border in a funk. He didn't want to write, play video games, or any type of training. All he wanted to do was sleep all day which was staring to worry everyone.

"We have to do something!," Mashu suggested to both Da Vincis, Gudako, Holmes, and Director Goredolf. "This isn't like Senpai!"

"I have to agree. We going to need Ryan to get better if we are going to resolve the remaining Lostbelts.," Adult Da Vinci said.

"Why? We have Miss Gudako here.," Goredolf said patting the orange haired girl on the back.

"Um....I'm more into causing trouble than resolving it.," Gudako admitted with a weak smile on her face.

"Besides, Master does have more experience than Miss Gudako.," Sherlock stated. "No offense."

"None taken...I would prefer if Ryan was happy, that way we can—," the girl said before being cut off by Loli Da Vinci.

"Keep your dirty thoughts to yourself please.," the child prodigy stated. "So we are all in agreement that Ryan needs to get better so how do we do that?"

"I have an idea.," a familiar female voice said causing the group to turn see Jeanne D'Arc Alter. "Have him roll for something. If he gets a new servant, he'll be happy."

"But you hate Senpai summoning other female servants.," Mashu said. "Why would you suggest something like this?"

"Because he needs to get over this if we are going to save Proper Human History.," Jalter said. "Besides, I've already tried seducing him.....he just rolled over and went back to sleep."

"Wow...that is bad.," Gudako stated. "I'll get started on the summoning circle. You just bring him here."

With that, the group began getting to work as Gudako began drawing the circle as Jalter and Mashu went to Ryan's room. They tried to get him out of his room, but the boy just ignored them. So, the girls decided to use their trump card. As soon as Gudako had finished drawing the circle, she saw Ryan being carried over the shoulder of Hercules with Mashu and Jalter close behind.

"Why are you guys doing this?!," Ryan asked. "Can't I just sulk in peace?!,"

"But we wanted to help you summon a new servant....maybe you could summon a new waifu?," Gudako suggested. "Like Atalante Alter? Think about it...a new Alter servant who happens to be a cat girl."

The boy thought for a moment. It would be nice to have a new waifu especially if it was Atalante Alter. Maybe she could help him feel better about what happened in the Russian Lostbelt.

"Ok. Let's do it.," the young man said as he walked up to the circle and began the incantation.

It wasn't long before the circle glowed in multicolored light blinding the entire group. When the light died down, everyone's jaws dropped in shock because standing in the middle of the circle was the servant who destroyed Chaldea....Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova.

"Hello....I am Anastasia.," the duchess said with a curtsy towards Ryan. "This little one is Viy. Please take care of the both of us."

"Um.....hi.," the boy said. "Do you know who we are?"

Anastasia shook her head. "Not really. I mean I know you're my new master. These other people...not so much."

"She really doesn't know us.," Mashu asked.

"It seems like it.," Holmes said with a slight smile. "It seems like this Anastasia is a completely different person from the one that Kadoc summoned."

"Well...I think I'm going back to bed.," Ryan said as began to walk away before feeling someone grab him by the hand as he turned to see Anastasia.

"Master...sleeping too much isn't good for you, but If you really want to rest, you may use my lap as a pillow.," the white haired girl offfered.

The boy blushed a bright red. "Umm....I guess that's would be ok."

"Ok then...let's go.," Anastasia said as she took the lead as she guided Ryan towards his room, but not before giving Jalter a smirk.

"What just happened?," Mashu asked.

"Also how does she know where Ryan's room is?," Gudako asked in confusion.

"I don't know....but I don't like her.," Jalter said with growl. "That ice bitch better not try anything on my boyfriend if she knows what's good for her!"

Little she know that a couple days later, the rivalry between Anastasia and herself would begin when the Jalter found the duchess in bed with Ryan, but that a story for another time.
